Very well organized funeral service which provide deceased with respect and dignity. The setting up of the funeral hall and amosphere was good. There was a personalized video display of the deceased photos with the family & Printed memorial write up copy from one of the representative of the family member, this was displayed at all the tables & it helps to reflect the personality and life of the deceased. It also offer the opportunity for us to share memories together. We engaged Direct Funeral Service Pte Ltd and were assigned Mr Dylan Wee as our advisor. He was very polite, helpful and patient towards us. He listened to our needs and took the effort to cater a customized package for us. He provided us the best solution they could provide based on the budget we had and we reached a reasonable agreement. Deployment had to be quick and sudden, which they performed amicably. The construction of the tentage and funeral setups were all done in 3 to 4 hours, in time for our grandmother to return home comfortably. The completed setup looked grand and impressive. During the funeral, services were great, with daily cleaning and trash disposal and prayers in the evening. We were given many options for food and food served was quite good. The final day was very well organized as well, with traffic flow controlled for the send off and a coach service which was clean. comfortable and a smooth journey. All in all, we are very happy and impressed with the total service provided by them.

Direct Furneral is up front with their package and show professionalism in their work. As our father passed away unexpectedly in hospital, we have to make quick decision on the wake within 2 hrs. We called Singapore Casket first since my father-in-law's wake was done by them, but..let's just say not our most pleasant experience. On hindsight, they might have high demand on 10-10 weekend. We did not feel really on their priority. We called Direct Furneral as second choice and their customer service gave us exactly the details we need and helped us made a quick decision. Edwin, who was our undertaker and coordinator, was very accommodating and understanding. He arrived in 30min and waited for another 40min as we were having lunch before we send off our father to the Memorial Hall from the mortuary. Edwin explained to us succinctly on the options we have to choose the wake options. Throughout the entire process there was no sale tactics or pressure tactics to get us to sign up for higher price items or packages that we did not need. We were able to decide on what we need and even got good advice from Edwin even though his company might not earn more. This is in contrast to my experience in my father-in-law's wake. The memorial hall is situated at 89 Geylang Bahru in an industrial park. Parking there was generally free. Location seems remote and surrounded by factories. But it is near to Geylang Bahru MRT and Geylang Bahru hawker centre. More importantly near to our mother's home. Although location is not as central, the interior of the hall was elegant and spacious with high ceiling. It was big enough for our need for 35 guests. You can bring your own snacks and drinks. They do not limit you. We had a Buddhist furneral for 3 days. Everyday Edwin will help to explain the daily schedule e.g. monk prayer timing, rituals to look out for. For my father's cremation, Edwin advised us to prevent my Mother from viewing the last send off against my initial intuition. I thought my Mother might want to be present. On hindsight, Edwin was right, it was emotionally wrecking for us and my Mother would be heartbroken. And payment was when every thing is settled. No downpayment. This is in contrast to my other only experience. There is no hidden costs and the final bill was itemized. While we are sad that our father has passed away, we are glad to choose Direct Furneral for this testing time. Just a feedback to Direct Furneral. As we have joss stick in the aircon room, one can get teary eyes due to the smoke from the incense. The exhaust could have been more powerful. But this is not unique. The same happened in other aircon parlour during my father-in-law wake in Singapore Casket as well.

My dad passed away on 24 August 2024. Called Direct Funeral and Mr Roland Tay answered the call and give his condolences and gave a very comforting and assuring tone. We decided to engage Direct for the funeral and Victor Wu the funeral director was as good as what we can get. No hard selling. All process was done well and on point. All matters of the funeral was done in a way that it was not stressfull and the facility we booked was maintained well with extra butler services throw in. Direct CEO Darren came down to pay his respect to my dad and it was a surprise and i do not think other funeral services will do this. The hearse was upgraded to the Mitsuoka at no charges. Funeral process are not what we go through frequently and it is great to encounter a ethical company that give us such good services and comfort at this difficult times. Payment can be done after the funeral. They do not rush us also. We made payment at their office at Lavender and Mr Roland Tay greeted us personally. It is this personal touch from them that make them one of the best in the business. Thank you to all the staffs at Direct for all the help for my dad funeral. Appericate greatly.

I am very impressed by the services rendered by Jamie and her team for my mother-in-law's funeral dated 29th June to 3rd July 2022. Jamie and her team has meticulously managed every single detail of our funeral preparation from Day 1 to 5. All our requests were finely met and i can say there were zero discrepancy during our discussion. We were then taken aback by how quick and precise everything went there after our 1st meeting. Jamie was such a sweetie and was constantly on standby via her mobile. She was always very swift into handling even our last minute request eg 1. - our coffee machine dispensing brown water and she had the machine changed within a short period of time (2 hrs, factoring travelling time) 2. - checking up on us, the family members and updating us via WhatsApp on our daily, pre and post funeral process. She minimised the headache and pain of what we are going through by being reliable, detailed, compassionate and always donning a beautiful smile beneath her face mask. I must say, this is really remarkable and I applaud to Jamie and the wonderful team at Direct Funeral Services who were in charge of us throughout the 5 days of sorrow, including the monks, pallbearers, photographers, servers and watchmen. We decided to choose Direct funeral Services for our dad’s funeral last Oct 2021 cos we had good reviews from my buddy and her husband about how Direct Funeral team had done a good job in helping them with her father in law’s Christian funeral at a reasonable cost of less than $7k as well. We were on a tight budget for the funeral as we had spent a lot on his cancer medical bills over the last few years so beside the good services rendered, funeral cost is also one of the deciding factors as everyone knows funerals in Singapore can cost a huge sum of money. Fortunately we managed to keep the cost to below $9k for the 3 days Buddhist funeral. Direct Funeral boss, Mr Roland also kindly helped us to get his team to edit a very nice photo of our dad and Arissa, our funeral director was helpful in answering our questions and guiding us on the procedures. Our relatives and friends were also pleasantly surprised about the eulogy service for a Chinese Buddhist funeral. It was a nice gesture, very touching speech delivered by the staff. When dad passed on, no amount of preparation was enough for the moment even though he had previous near experiences before the actual passing. Mr Roland Tay picked the call during the moment of loss and it was assuring to know that it is ok to focus on grieving while the rest of the process will be guided and taken care of along the way. Relatives has also commented that the setup and service are impressive and even the night watch caretaker was professional. Danny Kong, our appointed Funeral Director had displayed patient and was able to explain in details of all the ritual requirements that assure my Mother. He had ensure a seamless flow from Funeral preparation to the day after wake and all co-ordination with the required suppliers (from buffet, flower arrangements, portable toilet to invoicing). Escorted by Zheng Haichuan The funeral started smoothly My heartfelt thanks to Mr. Zhuang Fujie and every responsible employee of Direct for their wonderful and perfect service. From the negotiation and planning of funeral equipment to the completion of the funeral ceremony, everything was handled to perfection. Solemn decoration, elegant flowers, clean and bright mobile toilets. The thoughtful little tree trunk in front of the reception table allows relatives and friends to write their remarks on small white heart-shaped cards and hang their memories on them. Elegant flowers, peanuts and candies were placed on each table, as well as thoughtful memorial messages written by the granddaughter for her grandfather. "Calf Coffee" beverage machine with everything you need, "Tuberose" delicious buffet, Friendly and diligent receptionists make your family, relatives and friends feel warm at all times. The 40-inch TV at the reception desk played the story of my father’s life. The picture was clear and the editing was exquisite. Relatives and friends stopped and recalled the demeanor of my father back then. During the ceremony, the master who chanted sutras was kind and solemn, and the leader of the worship ceremony spoke clearly and emotionally, matching the carefully selected songs. Zhuang Fujie personally took photos for us to commemorate the funeral ceremony. Arrangements were made for the luxurious pallbearer car to send off to Wanli Cremation Plant, and the funeral ceremony was completed smoothly and meticulously. I sincerely thank Direct for adding a pleasing appearance to the last party of the life of a happy and life-loving dad. This beauty will remain in our hearts forever!
