Reviews of Climba Gym
I visited during their arcade anniversary fun climb event. There were routes labelled 1-60 (with increasing difficulty level) for anyone and everyone to try! I think the routes were very accessible even for beginners :) My friends and I had so much fun climbing there for 4hours+ Would definitely recommend for anyone new to climbing!
Glen is a super helpful & sporting guy, all the staff are really friendly as well. The community is really warm too! Cozy place and great routes for both beginners and intermediate climbers
Cozy bouldering place that doesnt get too crowded, walls are fun, not intimidating for amateurs and staff is friendly and informative. Amenities are great and overall had a great time here!
Immaculate vibes, very friendly coaches and owners. 💯 10/10 recommend. You get a cute free sticker too!
Loved the gym! Super friendly staff and great facilities, highly recommend! 🤩🤩
Absolutely fantastic experience at Climba! The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate, making the sessions both safe and enjoyable. So whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, you’ll feel challenged and supported. I learned so much about technique and felt my confidence grow with each session. Highly recommend to anyone interested in climbing!
Awesome experience climbing at this gym. Staff were super friendly and helpful, very approachable too. Routes were fun and had varying difficulty - suitable for climbers experienced and new! Warm up area and amenities are super nice too.
Great place for a lunch time climb. Friendly, attentive and highly encouraging staff to up your bouldering game. Love the Climba arcade point card which keeps one motivated to take on the next problem!
Awesome place to get your climbing fix! Instructor Ben was patient and thorough in his safety briefing which I found it to be imperative. Many different climbing courses with varied difficulties, patrons are also patient and chill.. cool place to “hang”😂
And facilities in this climb gym are well maintained and oh did I mention they have Dyson hair dryers for your mane after your bath..
Good job guys! Keep it up 👍
I had my first bouldering experience at this gym and loved it! I’m grateful for Joe’s guidance. After the intro class with him, I’m no longer afraid of falling and would definitely come back to learn more techniques.
Visited Singapore for a couple weeks and managed to pay Climba a visit. Albiet a small gym, I was pleasantly surprised with their high-value technical climbs and top notch facilities. A great place to bring beginners (I love that they strive to educate newbies on building healthy techniques from the get go), with no lack of fun routes to keep intermediate/advanced climbers entertained. Averaging at V6, I would visit this gym once every full reset.
Climba staff are warm and make you feel at home once you step into the gym. Also their branding is toooooo cute! As a graphic designer, I absolutely adored this gym's feel and vibe. A must visit! I'll definitely be back again, Climba ranks high on my list as one of my top favourites alongside BP Tai Seng, Boruda and Lighthouse (having also been to BP Semb, B+ Chev and BFF Bendemeer)
Nice gym, medium sized with a lot of dyno routes
I've joined the guided intro class and Joe was a great instructor. He ensured that the session was safe, informative, and enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend this session to those who are still new to climbing.
Brought friends here for their first time bouldering. Boss Travis is super friendly, showed us the surrounding area, and taught us the correct way to warm up. When we faced difficulties on the route, he guided us with patience. Highly recommend Climba to everyone!
the boulders are not old school routes and fun! great community there and the staff are very nice! recommend to visit if you’re in the downtown area. might be smaller gym compared to other places
Joined the guided intro class through Classpass. The instructor Glenn was very thorough and clear in his explanations & demonstrations. Good way to start climbing if you have zero experience. Also, the location is one of the best perks of this gym!
Super friendly and helpful crew! :) The guided intro was great for first timers and I will be back for more climbs :)
Climba was great! The staff are friendly and helpful when we faced difficulties with routes as well. Also amazed they have a washing area for feet, very underrated but useful ~ Thanks Climba team!
Amazing climbing gym with cool coaches who climb with you and are very willing to teach. Despite being a noob, it was very fun to learn. Thanks teacher joe for the amazing guided intro, picked up 3 basic skills and vvv important safety rules!! Good stuff!!! Would highly recommend especially to complete beginners like myself :)
Went for the guided intro class, Glen was super friendly & patient with us as first-timers! Explained the basics very well, class was also very hands-on. Highly recommend if you are new to bouldering! :)
Great guided intro class with Joe! Was well paced and went through all the fundamentals that helped the class understand how to climb better! Highly recommend if u are new to bouldering!
Friendly routes for beginner. Folks are cool and helpful too. Had fun watching the Olympics tgt last weekend. 10/10 would come again!
Had a really great time at Climba’s Intro Class which was perfect for beginners like me! Shout out to Glen who was super encouraging and guiding us along throughout.
Cool experience! Very encouraging and exploratory environment :) Travis and team are knowledgeable and passionate. Must try!
very fun guided intro class! glen was a great instructor & his humour made it very lighthearted, would recommend for first timers
Great gym, felt very welcomed as a beginner. The owner was also very helpful and friendly, would recommend to anyone!
Located in the centre of Singapore. The staff is friendly and ready to teach you. They also do lunchtime special promotion. Suitable for travelers who have tight schedules.
Climba was a great experience for a 1st time experience and Jing Yu’s the best instructor WOHOO 🙌
Good climbs, really nice staff, and I always learn something when I’m here. Definitely becoming one of my fav bouldering gyms in Singapore!
Awesome atmosphere, friendly faces, great music and a lot of climbs to try. Definitely reccomend
Great intro class with Joe, will be back again!
Cool vibes, helpful staff, route variety for beginners and intermediate climbers. Even has a grasshopper board, physio access! Good stuff!
HERE DURING THEIR CARNIVAL! Enjoyed their well-thought routes! 🙂
Nice modern air conditioned gym in Singapore. Conveniently located. Perfect session for a quick layover.
Small gym but all the climbs were super fun! They also have a moonboard in the back and a small gym section to warm up. There were specific climbs to test particular bouldering skills. Only stopped because my hands were super raw. Travis was super awesome! Very friendly and helpful.
The gym has all the necessary facilities: restroom, shower, foot washing station, they had hairdryers and even a place to charge you phone, they even had a small physio therapy room!
20/10 would recommend and would definitely come again!
Lovely place for boulder, clean and well equipped walls and friendly staffs, definitely one back!
Climba is THE climbing gym for all in CBD, or beginners-intermediate. Glen and Travis are nothing short of awesome, and they are truly passionate about climbing, climba and also everyone who walks through the front door. They are encouraging and persona/intentional to each and every person - this makes a big difference to beginners like me. Climba felt like a very safe second home. Other climbers were friendly and open to ad-hoc demonstrating and also guiding learners which is very much needed when we are stuck in a rock and hard spot (pun intended) on the wall. Comparing to experiences in other climbing gyms in SG, I'm super stoke to get to learn and practise in Climba. Can I just add that their mascot is so frigging cute?!? the wobbly eyes?!! I LOVE.
great gym! very clean and quite. amazing environment and staff
Great gym! Only 3 grades so the range for each is wide but lots of fun! The gym is on the smaller side and they have a grasshopper board.
Fun route, complete amenities. Recommended!
great gym with very friendly coaches. travis and eugene were very helpful and gave me beta
Vvv friendly staff and cool range of routes! ✨ Good for beginners too
Very friendly staff and climbing community here! Came for a climbing class, v friendly instructor, felt v safe and learnt alot! :)
Best gym ever. No regrets coming here. Would recommend to everyone and anyone.
Holds r clean and grasshopper board is very fun. Staff r pleasant, friendly and nice can always approach them for assistance

All staff are very friendly and knowledge to climb. Teaching a skills better way to climb and easier route.
One of the most fun and social gyms in town! Everyone here is do supportive!
New bouldering place in the city area with nice variety of routes catering for all skill levels. Try it out if looking to pick up bouldering!
Very nice!! Super good!
Had a wonderful climb here in Climba! 🥹 ALLEZ!!!!!!
Great vibes and definitely beginner friendly! Did a footwork class with Travis and I sent routes I never knew I could. Warmup tips from Glenn really boosted the overall climbing experience for someone who's not that of an experienced climber. 10/10 would recommend 💯💯
very friendly staffs that will help you through routes and finding beta. skill-based climbs throughout the centre and paired with amazing facilities. although not the biggest gym, it has a very homely and cozy feel. highly recommend!
Great gym! Love the routes, staff are friendly, great vibes, good location, and the grading means you get to try routes you might deem a little difficult for your level. It is a little small, I can't get enough of this place!
fun session! staff were very helpful esp for beginners, teaching us how to warm up and fall properly. other climbers were also very friendly, not too crowded for a weekend
Great for beginners and intermediate climbers looking for routes that will hone your technique!
Convenient location and a lovely space. All their staff members are friendly and warm. I like that they have a decent grasshopper board and workout section as well! The routes are varied and definitely would return. Only caveat is that right now it can get rather crowded during peak hours (newest gym in town!) so if you’re a shy climber like me it’s scary 😂
Great place, good routes and very friendly owner! Would definitely come back again!
Tried out the Climbasics class with Travis. I learned so much, as he gave very technical instructions. Thank you!
veryyyyy funnnn gym quite a lot of big moves, staff and crowd is great
Good clean gym with nice routes for all levels. Good central location
fun environment!! eugene and jingyu were great teachers :)
One of the nicer gyms that I’d been to in SG! Very thoughtful route setting process which makes you practice your techniques, friendly staff which just makes you want to try more and grading system encourages you to try a lot more routes rather than getting deterred by the grading system. Do also sign up for their classes if you’re ever considering! Very passionate coach to share the little tips and tricks for you to climb even better ☺️
nice vibes, great employees. felt welcomed even before the climb started 🤩
The routes were fun! Was a great experience :))
Fun af routes, nice staff, just come bro
Eugene and Jing Yu are friendly and going out of their way to help newcomers
BEST GYM EVER (nicest people funnest walls scrubbiest tiles Dysoniest hairdryers 10/10)
I had a great experience at Climba. Even though the gym is a little small, the climbs and routes were really fun to go on, the staff were also really friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were pretty good!
great climbing session with coach benson! friendly staff as well :))
Really great experience climbing here!
very fun and beginner-friendly gym!!!
Fantastic bouldering gym with chill and friendly vibes. Fun routes to do and manageable for beginners. Staff would guide us along too!
I really enjoyed climbing here as they have routes that are more catered for beginners-intermediate but what stood out to me the most is the skill based route as we often don’t have opportunities to learn certain climbing moves at an easier level, but they do it here.
Friendly staff and overall good experience climbing :)
Great anniversary event. Thanks for the set
Fun gym with routes that help you practice different techniques! :)
Fun and convenient climbing gym. 5 out of 5 recommended
Awesome new climbing gym in town!!! 🧗🏼♂️
Clean gym and fun gym, good range of routes available for both beginners and intermediate climbers. I really liked the move-specific routes which were really unique!
Perfect introduction and warm up and friendly staff!!!
Fun problems with non specific grading so that you can try problems a bit of of your comfort zone!
Friendly cosy gym with cool climbs!
Great and friendly place
Friendly and helpful staff :)
Singapore Rock Gym Stop 29/30🧗
The new rock gym opened in raffles business district in early November. There is a Boulder movement downtown store in the building next door. Because it took over some of the original Boulder items, it feels familiar. The elevator that goes up to the fifth floor to the rock gym is in the passage on the left side of the front of the building. There is no sign. I only found out the location by asking the lobby manager.
There is a large O-shaped rock wall, a foot-washing area with a water dispenser in the shower (next to the sink), a grasshopper, a fitness and warm-up area, and a dressing room with a bed.
The customized routes are graded, divided into junior, middle and advanced levels according to blue, yellow and red. Blue VB-V1 for somatosensory, yellow V2-V3, red V4-V6. There are also five specific action practice routes, two or three without levels, each for junior, middle and advanced levels. About 10, 30, 10 routes, about 55 routes in total.
You need to fill in your personal information when entering for the first time. A single entry is S$28, and a ten-time ticket is S$220.
This year, despite the closing of more than three rock gyms, I bucked the trend and opened a new one in the city. When I saw the Dyson hair dryer and some familiar rock spots, I thought it was the original team opening a new store. Later, after talking to the store clerk, I found out that it was closed. Original collects second-hand items.
Because the space is not large, the overall number of routes is relatively small. There are practice routes that are suitable for novices to play. There is not enough rest space in the U-shaped middle, so if there are many people, it will feel very crowded.
There were very few people here on Tuesday afternoon. I was invited by the store clerk to play grasshopper and book a route together. Later, I ordered two items, one v4 and one v5. Both were too difficult and I could only try single action. I cried~
