Reviews of Storm Athletic Club
Superb place to fulfil your workouts with a peace of mind! Great space with variety of gym equipments to work both upper & lower body. They also have a dedicated space for you to do your boxing/wrestling and there’s also a space for u to do sled push. The best part is the flexibility of the gym, come anytime and blast your favourite playlist and get pumping! Fear not, trainers there are very friendly and knowledgeable on every aspect especially trainer Kun! JOIN NOW!!!!!
Coach Sam is incredible. I have been training with him for 2 months now and just last week my work pants were noticeable looser around the waist and thighs, there is excellent progress and I am very happy. I was initially worried about training with a PT because I wasn’t interested in getting involved with protein powder culture but coach Sam encouraged me to go for natural sources of protein and advising me what kind of meat to go for. Because I am middle class, he understands my budget constraints food wise and gives me the best promos and deals on where I may find the best meat deals. I will continue training with him because he’s not one of those PT who gives eye power during my reps. He physically holds the bar to help support me so I don’t injure myself. If there’s an exercise I’m unable to pull off, he immediately substitutes it for an alternative exercise that targets the same muscles. He knows his stuff. If you’re interested in what to expect from a PT, just drop by and have a chat with him.
I recently joined the Ladies Lifting Course (Batch 4) with Coach Kun and Coach Aly, and it’s been a fantastic experience! Both coaches were incredibly patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. I now have a solid grasp of the practical techniques, which has given me the confidence to tackle workouts on my own. If you’re new to the gym or feel unsure about lifting, I highly recommend this course.
Love my weekly sessions with Kun. He arranges the best work out whether in preparation for a ride or to recover from a long ride. Getting stronger with each passing day with proper training and nutrition. Gym has all the equipment you need.
I trained with coach Kun for 12 sessions. At each session Kun was able to push me before the limit I thought I had. Amazing, there was also 2 extra reps before failure. In a span of 6 weeks I was able to almost triple my bench press weight and I saw visible results in my arms and shoulders.
If there are negatives, that would be the location (prefer if they are in the city) and I prefer to wear shoes (it’s more the gym culture).
Sam is an excellent trainer. He used his 7-8 years of PT knowledge to help me in my fitness goals. Within my 3rd week with him, there was already noticeable weight loss and toning. When I ask him questions, he gives the answer with great reasoning based on his personal experiences with clients. When there are certain exercises that I am unable to physically do, he creates alternative exercises to target the same muscles but in a more manageable capacity for my body. He ensures that the time we spent together is also worth my money and watches my every movement with extreme care and caution. He also goes above and beyond to check in with me throughout the week although most PTs won’t. This guy is the real deal, and I personally would follow him for years to come because there is fitness longevity under his advice, supervision and aid. Try a trial session with him and you’ll see what I mean.
Amazing place to visit for your workouts! The gym is well furnished with a variety of high quality equipment, and the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. This is definitely a place to check out if you want to start working out.
Storm is an established training gym. Trainers are well knowledged and very professional. They listen to the clients’ needs and are very flexible to clients training requests. Highly recommend if you need to keep yourself disciplined.
Started PT with Trainer Sam about a month ago, and I must say, I'm already seeing changes in my physique!!! Sam is very knowledgable, and extremely encouraging. Although I have many pre-existing pains in my body (due to work), he patiently works through these areas with me by carefully selecting exercises that I can handle! I feel much stronger and am in less pain now!
I also introduced my good friend to take up PT with Sam and she did! She is enjoying her sessions very much as well ;)
All in all, I look forward to coming here to train every week because of the encouraging and welcoming vibe of the gym :)
Good trainers and fully equipped gym.
Sam is patient in explaining in layman terms the correct form of the various exercises and takes pride in his work. Will reccomend to train under him.
the trainers are all v experienced and friendly, their small group class also ensures that the trainer will look out for everyone and correct our forms if needed. classes were really fun too as it gives you exposure to gym equipment and exercises! personally I think their membership packages are a steal compared to other gyms, coupled with their great equipment range and welcoming environment, I would definitely recommend Storm! :-)

I had a great experience with personal trainer Val. She was very patient, clear headed and had great technique when it came to addressing the areas in my back that I wanted to strengthen.
I like how she is very thorough and systematic in the approach. Would strongly recommend her as a personal trainer!
This is an excellent gym that offers a wide range of classes and training programs to help fulfill your fitness goals and satisfy your workout needs. Alex is a great personal trainer; do seek him out if you can! I highly recommend the gym to both veterans and budding enthusiasts.

I have been looking for a gym to join and was very excited when Storm Athletic Club opened near me! I signed the 3 month package and have been enjoying the lessons thus far.
All the classes were very fun and enjoyable but at the same time still requires me to really push myself to finish the class. I particularly enjoy the boxing (berserk boxing) and strength (ragnarok strength) classes best which always leaves me satisfied at the end of each class
I appreciate trainer Kun and Calros's attentiveness in correcting my form in the exercises i do even if there is a large group of people.

Great setting to kickstart/resume your fitness journey as the environment welcomes everyone, no matter your fitness background. The trainer encouraged me to push myself, but also was very understanding when I needed to take breaks in between. The workout itself (Ragnarok) was a good mix of weighted and body exercises that resulted in a good sweat sesh!
Trainer kun ensures you are being pushed but at the same time cares for your well-being, so you can be assured you will train well and safe here, with small classes with a personal touch. Good to meet other like-minded people here too! Bring along your friends to keep fit and have fun together too! During non-training periods, trainer Kun and other souls you meet here are more than happy to talk to you as a friend, about any topics under the sun.
Highly recommend Lady lifting course for gals who’re just starting their lifting journey. Coaches were attentive and friendly, the sessions were very enjoyable :)
Head coach Kun was very passionate and motivating. Training programs were designed to be challenging, effective while beginner-friendly. Highly recommend this friendly place!
the owners were so nice and friendly !!! loved talking to them and loved the boxing session too, was a super fun work out with attentive trainers, be prepared to sweat it out tho !!! :) the place is also very clean, cooling, and cozy, and had gloves for us to use as well :-) highly recommend you come here if you want to start boxing !!!
If you are looking to clock a fun and high intensity workout, this is the place to be. Kun, owner and lead trainer has a unique way of pushing his clients to get that xtra rep and calorie burn in. He also designs some of the best workout routines to get ur engine rolling. 10/10 definitely will come again.
The gym was very spacious and clean! Lots of various equipment to spice up the workouts! Trainer Kun was very personable and motivating also 👍🏻
The team is super friendly and approachable, so you will always have motiavtion to come back! The varied classes at the club also keeps going to the gym interesting and never boring!

Went for their Maelstorm class and it was a great experience! Really liked how the trainer was very attentive to our form, really energetic class and the equipment was very clean too :)

Never excerise for quite some time. Went for the trial and it was hard but fun at the same time. Place is clean and instructor is friendly!
Had fun training there today. Trainer kun kept pushing me all the way. Great place and facilities for you to sweat it out.
