I recently visited afterxroom for a haircut, treatment, bleach, and dye (F-highlights), and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The haircut and treatment left my hair feeling super soft and healthy. They also provided me with a nice cup of coffee for both my visits:) Shout out to Andy for taking great care of my hair🌟🙏🏻

I had my hair done by Andy (Ig: andythehairbender) and couldn’t be happier with the results! I told him I wanted a balayage, and he absolutely nailed it. The color blends so beautifully and looks so natural. Andy really took the time to listen to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a stylist who is skilled, attentive, and detail-oriented. I’m super happy with my new look! 💯💯💯

Had the pleasure of watching the salon grow since it first opened in SMU but never thought to review it until today! Jeft and the afterXroom team have been taking care of my hair for over six years and I always feel pampered whenever I come. Jeft knows my hair better than I do and I have given up telling him my preferences because his styling tips for me are just better. Always recommend!

Always walked past but finally came in today. The stylist (Andy) cut my hair with a lot of care and did exactly what I asked for. He was very friendly too and gave a great head massage while shampooing. Good vibes and very convenient location. Would come back.

Had an amazing experience today with their omakase package including hair dye, bleach n treatment! Honestly I did not expect blue (recommended by Jeft) to be my colour but no regrets it was absolutely stunning. The hair stylist here are really friendly and it's a painless smooth process too! My experience at the newly renovated afterXroom today was nothing short of extraordinary. Jeft and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. With a great attention to detail, from the upgraded automated shampoo chairs to the artisanal coffee served, this was more than just your run of the mill salon visit. It’s no wonder that the team has been the trusted go to for several celebrities and many social influencers today. My stylist, Darren, did a stellar job in recommending me a cut that was a little different from what I’m used to that he believed suited my features better. While initially skeptical, I trusted his judgement and was not disappointed. Definitely sold. If you’re looking for a professional salon experience or a make over that’s literally a cut above the rest, look no further. Highly recommended.

I got my hair bleached for the first time by Jayden and he gave me recommendations based on my hair type, face shape, and the colour I hoped to achieve. He was very upfront about prices, which I appreciated. Overall, he was very meticulous, and my hair was bleached without damage. He explained how to maintain and blow dry my hair, and even threw in a free hair treatment. Highly recommend!

Went there yesterday to get my hair coloured for the first time! I've never dyed my hair before so I was pretty worried about how it'll turn out but Jeft and Jayden were nice and patient with me in exploring the options of what colors would suit me best. I liked how they explained every step throughout the process and reassured me whenever I made any queries. The salon was also very comfortable, especially the chair! I'm really happy with the result of my hair and I'm glad that I trusted them to do my first hair dye! Can't wait to go back to try other colors after this (:

i got to know afterxroom through a tiktok and it was a pleasant experience! i did single colour hair dye, hair treatment and a hair cut! it was quite affordable and overall my hair turned out really pretty. thank you to jayden who helped me choose a suitable colour for my hair and for recommending which treatment to do!

Afterxroom gave my hair a new look every single time! He is really patient, he talks to me and gave me suggestions on how to bring out the real look in me just by changing my hairstyle. I’ve tried hair tattoo, which is something new to me but he’s precise in every cut so it looks really good 👍🏻 I’ve been thinking about perming my hair, but I don’t want the typical kind. So he advised me to keep my hair long and I did that for about 2months. Within that 2months, I went for 3 haircuts to trim the sides to make my hair tidy. Not knowing if I will look good with a permed hair, Jeft reassured me and say he will handle it. The photo shows the result and I am in love with it! The shop is nice and cosy, with a really comfortable seat/sofa and very friendly hairstylist. I heard that they are moving to a new place, I can’t wait to visit again when the move! Will be making more appointments for sure 👍🏻

Colours always turn out vibrant and rich, and they will ensure you leave the salon looking fresh and polished. They are attentive to your requests. Love that they use the latest Dyson equipment to style your hair as well. Would recommend for their friendly service and warmth!

I had a great experience at AfterxRoom with Jayden. Originally, I was unsure of what colour to choose and Jayden was very professional and proceeded to advise me on what colour would suit me. The hair colour turned out beautiful and he even helped me shave my undercut and gave me a hair tattoo along with it. Great service and honestly a great time here in this salon! Been a loyal customer for more than 10 years now even though this place is newly opened. Came across Jeft one random day when he was still working with Chapter 2. It was my first hair cut then and I left feeling satisfied with the hair cut. I never knew the importance of a fixed stylist then but I went back to the same place few months later and Jeft was not working that day, hence someone else took over. Did not like my second visit at all so I went back few days later to feedback and Jeft took ownership of the issue I had. There was little that could be done, but he made the effort in finding out what were my usual routine and my preferences. I ended up with a better hair cut and I came to realiase a good and constant hairdresser is definitely important. When the previous J7 was set-up, I too followed Jeft as I only trusted my hair in his hands. Since then, I never had my hair done anywhere else even when I left Singapore for about 2 years. There are times when I'm helpless to what I want my hair to look like because I like changes, and Jeft is always full of recommendations. Sometimes I just let him do his magic after explaining what I would like to achieve and I am always a happy customer. Very friendly, talented and patient hairdresser who is definitely loving what he's doing for his customers.

WOW I was taken back by myself today 😂 @afterxroom pampered me so well today! Throughout my life, I only bleached my hair once, and it was a horrible experience, I never dared to do so Before going to the salon, I was thinking if I would be able to handle this look. Guess I was wrong afterall, Jeff was so good at styling and colour mixing, I'm so amazed 😍 Another worry was that my hair might be so rough after bleaching, but their Olaplex treatment brought this worry to zero. So, this is my new look for today. And I guess this will mark the start of my adventure for different looks now onwards!

Went for a Brazilian a blowout treatment and it was amazing!! Hair ends were damaged and the treatment managed to reduce the fizziness. The hairdressers were really nice and makes an effort to make sure my experience at AfterXroom is comfortable.
