I recently had an amazing experience with Elly and her assistant Susan! Elly is truly skilled and gave me exactly the hairstyle I wanted. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and executed it with precision and creativity. Susan was equally fantastic, always attentive and making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Together, they made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend Elly for anyone looking for top-notch hairstyling services!

Always a flawless perm from my only go-to hairstylist in Singapore, Jessica! For guys who are unsure on how to do a Korean style perm or not confident of how to do a perm for the first time, I would recommend that you come here and let her take the reins.

My go-to place for a haircut/colour in Singapore since 2020. While the location of the salon is relatively inaccessible via train and the price has increased over the years, I will still go to this place for a haircut. Lisa is really professional and cut your hair to the style that you requested. I have relatively wavy hair and quite a few asian salons (especially those in Australia or USA) tend to mess it up pretty badly; most of the time i look like kim-jong un (minus 50kg) or dumb and dumber after the haircut from those salon. So im really glad that Lisa is able to bring out the natural curl in my hair and giving it pretty good layering.

Been to quite a few korean salon before. Finally manage to find Elly which suit me. She is skillful and attentive. She manage to cut my hair to the style that i wanted. Was recommended Lisa by a Korean colleague and she turned out to be amazing. I had a bad perm from another salon, and came in to see if Lisa thinks that she can fix it, and she spent a lot of effort deliberating over what to do, getting second opinions from her coworkers, etc; I really respected how much thought she put into it. The discussion was open and I was kept in the loop, and she explained my hair texture to me with a lot of care. Eventually she decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad she did because the outcome was exactly what I wanted! My hair doesn't pick up curls easily and she took in that input and accounted for it all steps of the way. This is the kind of stylist you want! 👏

I had my first Korean digital perm at Aqua Hair Salon on 26 Dec with Stylist Lisa. I really enjoyed the experience! Lisa was able to give me advice on what sort of hairstyle would suit me based on photos I took of myself (because of Covid, couldn’t lower my mask), and I seriously love the result. When the perm didn’t take so well the first time, she re-permed my hair a second time to get it just right, which I thought showed a lot of care and professionalism even though I was a first-time customer. I spent 6 hours in the salon, but I walked out really pleased with the hairstyle that I was given. One week later, and I’m still super happy with how the curls are holding up and how easy my hair is to manage! Would definitely come here again when I need a trim or another perm. Thank you!

I dyed my hair with hairstylist Elly a few days ago. This journey was the best thing to change my mood!!!! I'll find her again next time :-) She is the best hair stylist I’ve ever met <3

When for a haircut, salon is small and packed, front counter doesn’t really welcome you like a proper customer. Showed the male hairstylist the haircut i want, did not produce anything similar to the picture, he even cut shorter than expected. Wash and hair drying service is also below average, they literally just rub their hands and towel over your hair, way too harsh and uncomfortable. Been to better salon that is cheaper than this that offered better services. Blow dry styling is also just a mess, their service team don't even care about heat damage. Overall, If you want haircut just go somewhere else, they seem to only advertise in colouring.

Booked appt w Luis Kim yesterday as I wanted a refresh from my current hairstyle which I didn't like. He reviewed my hairstyle and showed me the inconsistencies of the cut. Told him unfortunately the last cut was by a Korean director! Luis is the senior design stylist. He suggested colouring my hair but I told him I will wait out as I wanted to be sure I'm happy with the haircut 1st. I'm keen to do highlights but he said that my hair is short for highlights. He suggested doing highlights when my hair is longer and also keep the fringe to the side. Happy with outcome and told him will look for him in 2 months time. Hopefully my hair will be long enough for highlights.

Did a simple dye job here and the results were good, hence the high score. However, they need to work on a better appointment system since they were clearly overbooked and had customers with appointments overflowing so much till some had to sit on makeshift chairs. Some customers who were in the middle of treatments etc were even placed on these makeshift seats. A lot of the work on my hair was done by the assistants who were the real heroes running around making sure everything was done. The attitude of the main stylists towards the assistants was quite off-putting as well. I hope Aqua can improve in these regards so that the next visit can be even more pleasant and befitting of the price range of services.

Have been cutting with Aqua for awhile. Personally still my preferred Salon to go to among the Korean salons due to style and pricing. Back then, was with Moon before he returned to Korea. Now with Louis and after cut still able to have the Korean Oppa look.

Authentic Korean hair salon. Was served by Jessica and she did such a wonderful job. First time cutting my hair short in many years and I absolutely love it. Definitely going back again!

highly recommended! i was served by ryan. and he is my go-to hairstylist whenever i visit every other month. he is very good in what he does. very passionate and would give you advise on the different kind of hair style that he thinks suit you. if you are looking for short clean boyish/manly hair cut, he is the one to look for .

I have visited many hair salons in Singapore, but I would like to thank the men's designer who was very kind, cut my hair meticulously, and gave me detailed information on areas where I could improve my hairstyle. Anyway, the designer at the hair shop I used to go to went back to Korea and someone else did it for me, but I really didn't like it... I guess I'll just have to go here now.^^
