I’ve been going to Jack for my hair needs for a while now, and he never disappoints! He has an incredible eye for color and always seems to know exactly what I want, even when I’m not sure how to describe it. I have been visiting Empirecharme Paya Lebar since 2018 till date and have alwyas been extremely satisfied with their services, especially the Ginseng Scalp treatment. I came for a last minute appointment and thankfully, was given a slot with a private area (cos hijabi). Was attended to by Vin as I entered the shop who warmly welcomed me in with my young girl. I brought a stroller with me as well. He was very kind to assign me a corner seat, so that I can place my stroller nearby. He even rearranged another seat beside me so that my daughter could sit comfortably next to me. He did all that with a smile. Then, I was attended to by Corinne and Nicole. Truly enjoyed my scalp treatment (root revival is my fav) and the complimentary head/neck/shoulder massage by them. It was a relaxing session. Eventhough my girl was all over the place, like her usual self as a curious little one, the ladies were not bothered at all. Instead, they were very understanding. I will not hesitate to book my next session here again! :)

Chanced upon this while looking for Muslimah-friendly salon in Paya Lebar on 26 Mar 2024. Although not Muslims, the staff were very attentive and respectful of my need to keep modest, ensuring that they cover me up properly while moving to wash my hair and while undergoing the actual haircut. Minnie was so friendly and kind. 100% would recommend to everyone. All the staff are great!

Was a bit surprised that hairdresser did not bother to show me the length (using a mirror behind like many others usually would) after cutting my hair... And also, the hairwashing part, it was quite painful on my scalp. The nails of the assistant were quite sharp. She also did not test the temperature of the water and initially the water temp was quite hot too. And no simple head massage was given at all. Was a bit disappointed, not sure what's with all the good reviews.... I'd have expected more tbh. :') Given this three stars as the shop assistant was still quite nice and polite.. Thanks!

Hit or miss. My first haircut here was perfect, but the second time I Guess it was my fault for not asking for the same stylist. I was greeted by a lady, who asked me what I wanted and I explained I was growing out my pixie cut, so I’d like to keep the length but get an undercut to shape it. She spoke in Chinese to the hairdresser. He shaved way too high on one side and said that’s how this hairstyle should be. Without consulting me? Then what was the point of explaining that I was growing out my hair?
