Very amazing experience here! everyone was so nice and professional, i gave my hair stylist full control over what colour he can suggest for my hair and i’m awfully impressed! loving the colour combi done on my hair and even after 3 weeks, my colour is fading off super nicely! definitely a place i will visit again in the future 🤍

I’ve been to several salons in my lifetime and Impulse is by far the best. I go to Director Nich, who never fails to deliver — from cutting, to colouring and even treatment. He’s given me some of my prettiest hair styles and photos can attest to that. Highly recommend Impulse!

I’ve been to Impulse to colour my hair multiple times and I’d rate my experience 4-5 stars each visit. The colours turn out beautiful, although there are times it turned out darker than planned, but i uds you don’t get 100% colour accuracy because it’s dependent on the nature of your own hair to absorb the hair dye. I love their acid colours, they last longer than usual dyes. What I appreciate the most is they put thought into how the colour would fade off, as it won’t last forever and you’d want it to look as orchestrated during its lifespan. They’d make sure to mix the dye in a way that doesn’t leave dirty yellow and green tints. If a hairdye’s fade-off can be as beautiful, I find that a value for my buck. I’ve also tried the anti frizz Tokio treatment, recommended especially for those with bleached hair. It’s like a facial for your hair, lasts 4-6 weeks each time.

Impulse collective is such an amazing place to get your hair done, I have such a hard time finding a trust worthy salon to get my hair done and I’ve finally found a good home with impulse! Am proud to say I’ve been coming here for the past 1 plus years and they’ve never disappointed. Yes, you will pay a pretty penny here but to be honest I feel like my whole life was changed when I got my hair done here and I strongly believe in my hair as an investment because of how much it affects my overall look! You won’t regret getting your hair done here🙌🏼

I love the vibrance or the colours that Nich would do for me. He will always listen to what I like and add on to it. Often I am pleasantly surprised by the results! Also love that the team really takes care of my hair and are particular to teach me how to care for it properly after the colour! Gotten to try their Wella hair dye with tokio hair treatment which has 4-5step to deep moisture my drying long hair. Now i have extremely smooth and silky hair. Would recommend their services and also a convenient location at beach road near to Mrt. 👍🏻

Recommended by a friend to try getting my hair done at Impulse and…. they’ve definitely won me over!! Service was impeccable!! Accompanied by honest and truthful feedback from their Director Nich when I showed him some hairstyles I would like to try. Staffs there were really friendly and approachable! My hair wash experience was amazinggg, with basic scalp massage included. Overall experience there was lovely!! Will definitely head back to get my hair done again!!

Impulse has been taking care of my hair for two years now! Even though my hair goes through two rounds of bleaching, they still manage to bring back the shine and make my hair look healthy. Their knowledge of colours is also amazing and will advise you on your colour decisions (if it will damage your hair, they will advise against it and recommend something else). For me, the prices are worth it as I don’t have to worry about add-ons or being overcharged. You definitely get what you pay for! All in all, a very knowledgeable salon who cares very much about hair health and colour!

Been visiting Impulse Collective for about a year. Now I only trust Nich with my hair. He is able to advise on what type of hairstyles suits me the best based on my facial features. Ever since I left my hair in his good hands, I’ve been receiving compliments about my hair. What I absolutely love about Nich is that there is no hard selling at all, unlike other salons. I’m only recommended products and treatments based on my needs and I never ever feel pressured to do anything I am comfortable with. I bleached my hair around 8 years ago and the experience was horrible, since then I’ve been very afraid to even try dyeing my hair. Heard about Impulse and was told Nich had lots of experience when it comes to dyeing hair. Decided to give it a try & must I say - the experience was fantastic! He made me feel so comfortable throughout the process, and explained to me on each individual steps so I know the “science” behind it. I’m impressed with the service & the price is definitely more than reasonable given the quality of their product and the expertise of Nich. My hair turn out way better than I imagined it to be. Their staff are all rly friendly and welcoming too! Also if you’re in luck - you may request for earl grey tea, it’s awesome. But heard not always available 😅 Thank you Nich and crew!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

First time here and definitely will be back again! Good experience, staff are super friendly and make the whole experience really comfortable and welcoming. My hair came out better then expected 😊 Maybe a thing to improve on is to include hair cut service into the colour package, as I wanted to trim my hair a little but was expected to pay $45 add on for the services. Thus, i decided to forgo it as it wasn’t worth. But overall, the price was reasonable.

Great service from the staff, and they managed to help me achieve the color I wanted from the photo I showed them. When j chose not to buy a color shampoo they recommended, they were not too pushy and also explained what kind of shampoos I should avoid to keep my hair color longer. (I had asked another salon to fix my faded split dye and turn it into a work-appropriate balayage, but it did not turn out the way I wanted.) IMPULSE to the rescue! All I had to do was show Lucas a photo, and sit back and watch the magic happen. Not only did I get the color I wanted, but I also got a nice fresh cut (no debate or fuss included, just an expertly cut fringe & the right amount of layers) all from that one photo. Plus, their Tokio treatment breathed new life into my hair after having bleached and colored it many times before. It was my first time with Impulse and I am definitely going to get my hair done with them from now on! Bonus: I particularly like that they explained every step of the process & treatment.

Great experience with the entire Impulse team. Their salon is filled with young trendy people with great energy. It’s not easy to find a good hairdresser and I’ve been all around to find one that best suits me. I always get sceptical when I step into a new salon trying out new hairstyles from an entirely new place. As I never like leaving salons feeling awful and unpleasant. I’m so glad to have taken this step with them. Went to Impulse with my black roots and faded out bleached hair. Nich carefully analysed my hair history and provided the perfect bleach and toner for the exact shade of colour I wanted. The Tokio Inkarami hair treatment made my double bleached hair so soft and smooth too it was amazing. Left the salon feeling fresh and satisfied. Would recommend and definitely a returning customer!

Went there on impulse (pun intended) to get some highlights done. I emailed them the night before and they immediately got back to me the next day within an hour of their opening time and squeezed me into their tight schedule. Zenn, the stylist who worked with me was warm and candid. They were able to immediately point out my struggles with my hair and suggest ideas on how to improve it! There was no pushy sales to buy products or make repeat appointments. Everything felt comfortable and natural. You can tell that the team really enjoy what they do and are passionate about it! Would definitely come back for the 'omakase' menu one day. (Note: I've read some about distance from train station and the flight of stairs one needs to climb. They're a 3min walk from a bus stop, and no one mentions that. The stairs also aren't that steep, yes it is in the third floor but it really isn't that bad (unless you're injured).)

Having explored most of the salons in Singapore, i have to say Impulse Collective would be at the top of my list. They have a wide variety of hair colors to choose from and somehow their colors stays on my hair way longer than other salons and my hair seems to be in better condition. Definitely would be a 5 star recommendation from me.

Never trust another salon beside impulse! Always trying archive grey hair Color and each time I tried, hairstylist fail over and over again, my hair was damaged in the process, thank god for Nich from impulse who finally managed to give me the exact shade of grey I wanted without compromising my hair condition! Thank you Nich and impulse!!!! Highly recommended! ;)

I actually went to get my hair dyed blue last year. I just want to express how friendly and welcoming the staff are. They did a fab job with my hair, they were spot on in picking the right colour for me. And throughout the whole process, it was just fun being there and I did not even feel like I was there for 5h. Definitely coming back again.

The service was really good. It was my first time there and I did a number of services including their ambition set. The colours turned out so beautiful. They took their time to answer your questions and also give helpful suggestions on what might work and doesn't. I was quite fickle minded but they were kind and helped address the concerns I have. It's located in level 3 so you've to walk up quite abit. But totally worth it for their excellent service and workmanship.😊
