popped in on a sunday afternoon for a quick cut, the stylist that attended to me was friendly and was able to work with me to my desired hairstyle, easy to communicate with! He was patient and checked in with me on how the service was going, and it turned out exactly what I wanted! 10/10 would come back again!

Cost: - Very valuable compared to other salon at this price point. - Shki is transparent about the cost. - I appreciated that there was no hard selling. While Shki shared about the packages and products, I didn't feel pressured to purchase additional services or products. Service: - My stylist, Shki, was very humble and set clear expectations from the start. - She took great effort to trim off my split ends, and this is out of her own initiative. - Both Shki and another stylist checked in on me from time to time to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. - Shki also took the effort to find out about my haircare routine to provide advice based on my routine rather than changing my routine. - Throughout the appointment, there was continual discussion to ensure that the final result was exactly what I wanted. Results: - My perm turned out just as I had wanted. - Hope it last.

Came to Modu for a hair cut. Was attended to by Ms Shiki Hiew who did a great job. I returned the following day for highlights which didn’t require any bleaching! Yippeee! I am sharing a video of my highlights coz I am so pleased with it! Reasonable pricing with great service and great results! Ignore the weird Google misreading of one of the hair stylists’ names - “Aki” which means autumn in Japanese and NOT “acute kidney injury!!!! 🤯

Found Modu Hair Pro Salon on Google and decided to drop by for a haircut. The salon is slightly difficult to find for a first-time visitor as the entrance is at the back of the HDB block (facing the carpark). However, I like that it is peaceful on a Sunday afternoon. Even though there were a few other customers in the salon, there were no loud conversations that are common in many neighbourhood salons. This is a very attractive point for introverts like me. 😅 I did not make any appointment but was able to get Aki as my stylist as a walk-in customer. Aki gave helpful advice on the length and hair maintenance after I shared that I wanted a bob cut. She is very friendly, yet not intrusive in asking personal questions, a trait I greatly appreciate. I got my haircut done in less than half an hour, and I must say that she is very efficient and focused throughout the session. My haircut without wash was $26 which I feel is a very reasonable price, and I was able to make payment with my CDC vouchers. Overall, I am very happy with my first visit at Modu and would recommend it to others. However, do note that the only entrance to the salon is through a rather steep flight of stairs so it may be challenging for people with mobility issues.

I see why this place has really good reviews and they definitely delivered their services to the top! My hairstylist advised me accordingly when I wanted to do colouring and scalp treatment The scalp treatment was amazing , it smells great , not your usual salon-like products with that strong stinging smell, this has essential oil-like scent that felt very soothing and calming during the process . I would say the price is very reasonable given the services it was delivered . My hair stylist was super kind bout moving me to another room so I could relax when a family came in to get a haircut . I definitely recommend this place , come early as it’s quieter , will come back again ((: Thank you (I didn’t managed to ask for her name)

The staff there are really detailed in explanation of the colours. They explained beforehand that the colour i wanted may be different due to the previous hair colours i dyed before. Thank you for telling me that. Loved how my hair turned out afterwards! Highly recommend going there!

This place is really a hidden gem. Newly opened for a few months, very clean, and ambience is a 10/10. Staff are super friendly, and in my experience, Max gave me a haircut and gave me 100% attention and was not distracted. Consultation prior to haircut was thorough and not rushed-through, and my needs were addressed. They were also not pushy at all to promote extra service or to sell packages. Do check this place out, because if you are someone who does invest in hair (cut was $20), you'll definitely like this place.
