A total Gem in the Paint Industry:- Hock Lee Seng Paints and the Wonderful Owner Couple - Mervyn and Alicia I have just embarked on a home renovation journey and found myself overwhelmed by the sheer number of paint options available. Came across Hock Lee Seng on carousell and read many good reviews abt them online. I travelled to the shop and true and beyond, the service was top-notch, and the owner couple, Mervyn and Alicia are absolutely incredible. From the moment I stepped into the shop, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. Alicia's expertise in color selection is truly remarkable. She patiently listened to my needs and preferences, then guided me through their extensive range of paints, offering expert advice based on my fengshui considerations and interior design plans. Her knowledge and attention to detail were truly impressive. Mervyn, on the other hand, is a wealth of information when it comes to the technical aspects of paints. He explained the different types of paints, their durability, and their suitability for various applications. His clear and concise explanations made it easy for me to understand the differences and make informed decisions. Together, Mervyn and Alicia created a seamless and easy paints buying experience. They were not only knowledgeable and helpful but also genuinely kind and approachable. Am looking forward to seeing the actual colours on my walls. Will update with pics when reno is completed. Thank you Alicia for your patience and very detail guidance to blur first time painter like me despite busy manning your walk ins in between. Your honest recommendation on paint type, paint volume & number and type of apparatus require to purchase, has saved me lots of $$$. Location of this paint company is super convenient and easy to find. Alicia is very professional. She gives good advice. Being a lady of 70 and without a car, means I need help to transport the paint to my apartment. She readily helped by offering to ask her father to assist. For that, I really appreciate her efforts to bring the 4 canisters of 5l each to my doorstep. Thank you very much Alicia.

Mervyn from Hock Lee Seng Paint customer service is top-notch! I appreciate how responsive and helpful he has been. The opening hours stated 8am, but I whatsapp them as early as 7am. I received reply from Mervyn 10mins later. I am impressed with the response and attention he provides. It makes a big difference. As this is a paint company therefore I need to engage a painter or DIY. Therefore Qiang, the painter was recommended for his trustworthiness. Qiang Shifu painting service is exceptional! The attention to detail and quality of work truly make a difference in transforming spaces beautifully. The professionalism and of the team brings reliability! Overall I am very happy with their services, I am sure my dad will be pleased to see a new transformation of the environment!

Great family run paint shop! We have bought from Hock Lee Seng a couple of times, and each time, it was a breeze deciding on the colour, thanks to Alicia, her dad and hubby. The most recent one was such a wonderful experience. These people know their stuff. From wanting the customer to have the best paint match, to showing my son how paint is mixed and answering endless questions, i truly appreciated the patience and genuineness. Their smiles will warm your soul. And that is so special in this time and age. A fantastic place, because of the people who run it, this is my go to paint shop!

Service is good. Friendly and helpful from Alicia and Melvin. Quick turnaround time. Never expect to have great customer experience in a mom-and-pop store in an industrial area. It would be good if we can order 1/2 litre paint instead of full 1 litre can. We only use a small quantity. Thank you for rushing the paint for us.

Chanced upon this shop when I was looking to buy paint to paint my room. the shop has a wide range of paint colours to choose from! They could even help to mix colours to get the desired shade you want! It was AMAZING. The shop owner/ staff was very helpful and approachable to answer my 10001 questions, particularly Alicia who gave very good advice and tips for first time DIY-er. My family have been buying from Hock Lee Seng Paint company since 20 years ago. Service is great, staff are very very friendly, especially Alicia. It is the one and only place that I would go to purchase paint.

The shop owners were so understanding about our wall painting preferences and helped us to choose the right colour shades to paint for our walls.They also made sure we had all the necessary tools needed to paint ;They gave us useful tips like using masking tapes for neat edges and covering the floors and furniture with protective sheets.This time saving pre-care tip helped us in giving a neat paint finish.Choosing to go to their shop made painting our house a hassle -free ,time saving experience.

Fantastic family-run shop. Alicia was very patient and gave us a lot of super useful advice in terms of paint colours and paint matching etc. E.g. We were quite set on a certain colour for our dining room but she told us upfront it wouldn't look as nice as we thought and suggested a different colour, which was very helpful to us. She also knew we had a budget to work with so she gave us lots of good advice on how to work within our budget. Really helped make our decision so much easier. 10/10 paint selection, 11/10 service, 100% would recommend!

Had a hard time finding the shade of green paint that we wanted and was referred to this shop by a friend!! The range of colours of Jotun paints that they have are amazing!! Managed to settle for the colour we have been looking for after much help from the staffs! They were really friendly even thought we took quite some time to figure out what we wanted because we were spoilt for choices. Overall very satisfied with the friendly and wonderful service from them! Referred some of my friends and family over as well after because we were really satisfied! Pricings are very reasonable too!
