My mum was referred to Active Global by TTSH/AIC when it was not convenient to have my mum travel for check ups. She was managed by a team of nurses namely, Jaden, Hazwan, Nisa and Qilah. They have been providing excellent care and most times beyond our expectations. We were assigned Zaw Win as the care staff, and I cannot praise him and the service provided by Active Global enough. During this difficult time, we are blessed to have Harshani and Sameena to take care of my aunt who is having last stage cancer. Harshani who does day shift not only does her job very well, she always put my aunt best interest in her heart. Her smile, kindness and professionalism never fails to calm my aunt. And, handling over to the night caregiver was always done so well that we never once need to worry. Her nursing knowledge is unbelievable, she never fails to forget what to feed and even taught me the setup and medicine preparation,not once but many times. Hi, I would like to commend Nurse Bibiana for tending to my dad. He has been experiencing recurring urinal catheter issue. His catheter gets clogged easily. Very often, I have to trouble Nurse Bibiana and at times, Nurse John too, to attend to my dad's needs. Both of them have been very patient with my dad. Nurse Bibiana went the extra mile to buy 50cc syringes to help flush out the sediments. She also advised me to apply for additional schemes so that I can better care for my dad. Outram community hospital sent an interim caregiver to help my father in his rehab and to do physiotherapy daily for 12 sessions after a major operation and I can say that their staff was professional and very caring . They have trained nurse technicians who are passionate about Getting the patient back to normal . These are foreigners who are qualified nurses in their home countries and awaiting qualification to become an enrolled nurse in Singapore. Very kind and professional service . 5 stars . If there are elderly needs in my household I will not hesitate to engage them again

My father was recently discharged from hospital and required someone to care during the day. Hermawanti from Active Global was assigned over to my family to help cared for my father. She was very helpful, thoughtful and proactive in caring for my father. Despite my father's cognitive issue which causes his temper to flare randomly, she was very understanding and continued to be very supportive and caring for my dad despite the being scolded for no reason. Constantly following around making sure he's safe at home and also take the time to interact with my father to improve his mood. Was assigned a respite care staff to care for my critically ill son. For the sake of her sanity, we didn't mind that she kept watching her handphone and dozing off in between. We were also flexible in allowing her to do her prayers and top up her water as and when she needed to. However, she took advantage of our kindness by eating inside the bedroom and taking a TikTok video and posting it while on duty in the patient's bedroom! Doesn't mean that the patient is unconscious and cannot react, she should be doing all that.

My brother was in hospital more than 5 months. He has postural hypotension and was not able to walk independently. AIC assigned a care staff, Soe Thu, to take care of my brother from 22 May to 10 June 2024. Soe Thu takes care of my brother 8am to 8pm daily (except Sundays). His daily routine is to serve meals, medication (packed by me), helped with my brother's shower, change clothes, toileting. He also washed up my brother's cutlery after meals. Certain days, he wheelchaired my brother to downstairs. And in 2 occasions, brought my brother to run errands by bus. Soe Thu observed hygiene very well, he is always in mask and gloves. After every outing, he cleaned up the wheelchair and areas with dettol. He even changed my brother's bedsheets, helped us to fix up a guardrail to my brother's bed. Doctor requested him to record my brother's daily bp and urine output for a week, he did the record well. Soe Thu has a cheerful character, friendly and always smiling. My family is glad to have Soe Thu during this period. How we wish we could keep him for a longer period. Hope AIC treasure Soe Thu, reward him. I am sure he does well to every patient.

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Active Global team coordinator Nur who was quick to respond and Carer Lae Lae who was assigned as our father's interim carer through the hospital MSW. Our father was hosptialised in Dec 2023 and had trouble managing during his recuperation. Thankfully, Carer Lae Lae is very patient and attentive, doing rehabilitation exercises with our father and aiding him in his daily activities. With her years of experience, she was able to engage our father and also manage our dementia mother in daily activities as she could speak conversational English, Mandarin and some dialect. Nurse Nisa and Nurse Zuhairah are very pleasant and patient with us. Contacted Active Global Specialised Caregivers to source for a mandarin speaking caregiver for my dad, who is bedridden. Sourcing for mandarin speaking caregiver is like finding a needle in a haystack. Sharon De Rozario, the senior care consultant, was assigned to us. Sharon has been wonderful in assisting us with the sourcing and the interview of caregiver. She was meticulous, patient, and understanding. Unfortunately, with a turn of events, we did not managed to hire the caregiver from Active Global. Sharon was nevertheless very gracious to assist us with the termination procedure. While we did not turn out to be a successful customer, I must say that we are happy customer with Sharon's service attitude Kudos to Sharon and team, please!

Active Global has done a great job with providing a suitable respite care nursing aide, Nant Hti Thein Aung, who took care of my mum with much empathy, kindness and patience from Jul-Nov 2022. Subsequently, Global Active also provided a live-in caregiver Mya Sanda, who took over successfully from Nant Hti, and is still taking care of mum. Both of them are great caregivers who perform their duties with much empathy for the patient. Many thanks to Kean and Debbie Liew for attending to my questions and need for caregivers so promptly and efficiently. Your other services for the weekend nurse as well as the disability assessment were also provided efficiently and promptly. Both Rebecca and Nora were very communicative and met to my needs on time. Due to my brother’s medical condition, my family was forced to hire a caregiver for the first time. This was a process that was very daunting for us as we had no experience with it and we were dreading the multitude of forms and formalities that we had to go through. Active Global is a highly recommended to u as a caregiver agent. Under Active Global all caregivers are well trained with many years of taking care of elderly experiences. Thru the social worker recommendation, we managed to get an experience & well trained caregiver from Active Global for my mum after her discharge from the hospital due to her fracture right arm. In fact the caregiver take care of my mum from mid March 2022 until mid May 2022 & she works from 0800 hrs to 2000 hrs before my full time caregiver come in. I find that my mum caregiver is full of experience, love & patience. She can get along with my parents & family very well during her service. Because of her presence, my families can go out & works with no worries of no one is taking care of my mum at home. Another good point of my mum caregiver, she can speaks English, Mandarin, Malay & some simple dialects even though she is a Burmese. Since there is no language barrier, it helps to reduce communication misunderstanding & conflicts in my house. Finally I just wants to take this opportunity to thanks my mum caregiver; Nan Thwe Yu Hlaing to take care of my mum so well. Hoping that my new full time caregiver can also do the same thing like what Ah Hlaing is doing & also can works with love & patience to my parents.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Laura, our Active Global Consultant. She was absolutely fantastic with helping us. My sister lives in the USA and I live in Australia and with Covid-19 restrictIng travel, we desperately needed to find our mum help urgently. Laura was knowledgeable with the rules of MoM and the very complicated process of hiring a Carer. She was very reassuring but at the same time honest with what we could expect.
