Reviews of CSY Dermatology
Went to see dr chuah due to my eczema relapse recently at the back of my knee. Which causes me unable to slp well for the past few days! She patiently explained to me about why it happen and what I need to do and how to prevent it from relapse again. After following all the instructions that dr chuah advise, my eczema is so much better after one visit! I will strongly recommend anyone who is facing any issue skin problem to visit dr chuah! She will definitely give her best advice to you!
Dr. Chuah Sai Yee helped me surgically remove a persistent viral wart on my foot many years ago while she was still working at the National Skin Centre. This was after multiple attempts at freezing the wart failed to get rid of it. She did the surgery once and it successfully got rid of the wart permanently.
Happy to see that she has opened her own clinic which also accepts Cigna Alliance Medinet insurance. Came to see her again because I developed another persistent wart. So far the treatment is coming along well and I’m happy with the progress :)
Thanks Doctor!
*Update*
The warts are finally gone. I went thru cryotherapy, cutting and burning and cutting and stitching. For some reason my skin reacts to cryotherapy by creating a swollen boil in the area, which further causes the wart to spread even more. As a result of this I opted to remove the wart surgically by cutting it out and stitching (for the smaller wart) and cutting and burning for the larger wart.
The added discomfort of having genetically sweaty feet made things worse for me - luckily the doctor provided good advice by suggesting Driclor (applied locally to stop the sweating) and also Oral Glycopyrrolate) which also helped to reduced sweating. This helped to reduced sweating near the wound post operation, and greatly reduced the discomfort post operation.
The alcohol swabs, gauze, Mupider and Leukomed and Melolin also helped to keep the wound clean and healing nicely.
Not all of the above items were covered by insurance, by they helped a lot in the recovery process. Writing this review so that it’s easier for me to remember what to do in the future if I ever get warts again since I’m genetically predisposed to this.
Went to the clinic with bad eczema over my face, upper trunk, fingers, and leg.
Doctor Sai Yee is extremely knowledgeable about my condition. After just one session, my eczema has completely cleared with only residual hyperpigmentation.
Highly recommend her to anyone who wants to seek medical advice from their skin condition to CSY
