I want to express my appreciation to Nurse Song Yu Teng for the exceptional care given to my mum. She is wonderful and outstanding on all levels – very professional, skilful, attentive, caring and always goes above and beyond her duty. Under her care, my mum has shown marked improvement and is recovering well from her bedsores. Once, we had a last-minute urgent request for her to come by and she did so despite her busy schedule. She would respond to our offline queries during her off-duty hours. She also gives valuable advice and guidance on how we can care for my mum’s condition. A big thank you, Nurse Song!

Nurse Willa has been assigned to my mom since my mom’s discharge from the hospital last year. Nurse Willa has always been attentive and detailed with the physical examination of my mom and she will keep me updated after the visit. She will attempt to engage my mom despite my mom’s hearing impairment and is very patient with my mom who has dementia and may not always be cooperative. She will also observe mom’s diet and behaviour and offer suggestions accordingly. We are very thankful to her and hope she will be able to continue to visit my mom.

We started with NTUC Health HomeCare Care services for 3.6 years or so until.my lived one passed on to glory. I must say, the partnership with NTUC is really empathetic and friendly. Both the coordinators for the 3+ years, Marie and Shermin, have been solidly supportive and prompt. I want to specially thank the home nurse, Song Yuteng, who supported us for the final 6 months. She is professional, very knowledgeable, listens, prompt, meticulous, and tender in her examination of the patient. She is truly a trustworthy nurse. I am so grateful for her help to my bed ridden mum. Our sincere thanks to you, Marie, Shermin, Yuteng, and all the therapists who have helped us these 3+ years.

For the past 10 months, NTUC Health Home Care has provided home medical service to my 95 years old mum. I would like to thank Dr Howe, who visited my mum every 2 months to check her health conditions and ensure sufficient medical supply. This saved time and hassle for my mum to travel to CGH for check up. In compliment to doctor's visit, Nurse Cecline will come periodically to review my mum and caregiver well-being. I would like to thank Crcline's guidance to apply SMF Consumables for my mum. Kudos to both Dr Howe and Nurse Cecline assistance to relieve my stress in taking care of my aged parent.

We are assigned 2 Nursing Aides (NA) during these two weeks Interim Caregiver Service. At first, we are apprehensive as patient will need to adjust from one NA to the next. Fortunately, the 2 NAs are very professional. Geraldine, the first NA is very experienced and builds up a good rapport with the patient. She is cheerful and brings much positivity to my sister who has undergone a major surgery. Yoon on the other hand, is very thorough and meticulous. She doesn't have the years of experience of Geraldine but she is well trained and is receptive to new ways of doing things. On the whole very happy and satisfied with the service provided.

We are lucky enough to have ICS nurses from NTUC Health after our aunt was discharged from hospital. Our family members were trying to manage her care at home, but it became increasingly difficult particularly during day time. The nurses was nothing short of incredible! They are very knowledgeable and patient towards our grumpy aunt. They are incredibly easy to work with and all the nurses are amazing. Special shout out to Bracelyn and Ezra who went above and beyond for our aunt! We had Geraldine to help as well for a week in Ezra's absence. Nurse Yoon took great care of my elderly mum after she was discharged from the hospital. I was in fact very hesitant to bring her home as she would need caring in bed as she would be bedridden. Yoon was professional, kind and very patient with my mum. She learned some of my mom favourite phrases in Teochew, my mom’s dialect, and would always cajole her through the day to get her to eat, drink, exercise and participate in her daily routine. Technically, Yoon is very professional and would modify her daily routine with my mum as she gets stronger or showing signs of deterioration. Yoon also trained my helpers to prepare them to take over the caregivers duties. I engaged NTUC health for this interim care service for almost 2 months. Ronnie, the Office Leader, is in close contact with the nurse and he assigned staff which best meet the needs and requirements of the client. Thank you Yoon & Ronnie !!!

We are very thankful and grateful to NTUC health, especially to Asst Nurse Manager Oleander Lee and Team Lead Ronnie Isales for being compassionate and prompt to schedule ICS Nursing Aides swiftly so we can get exemplary home medical services from their wonderful and experienced team ( Rozy, Noemi Balais, Filamy Nudo, Shella Marie Anuelo and Cristina Sunggayon) and learnt how to handle and care for my disabled mum once she got discharged. During the service period of 13 May to 25 June 2022, my mum caught covid in the interim and returned back to hospital, both Oleander and Ronnie listened with loving hearts and were caring to follow up very closely to ensure that once my mum returned home, their team was back to assist. They also called regularly to check in and get our feedback. We are very blessed to have Rozy detected that my mum's condition was deteriorating and with her strong urge to rush to my mum to A&E, my mum received the right treatment in time and recovered from covid. When she was taking care of my mum, her gentleness and good nature motivated my mum to keep trying to get off bed to stand and take 1-2 step of walk and to exercise daily without fail. She was diligent, attentive, patient and meek in her way of communication. Cristina, bubbly and perky in nature, always spontaneously sported a wide smile. She brighten the mood and was always joyous to everyone in the household. She surprised us with her strength despite her petite physical build and her competency to manoeuvre my oversized mum quite effortlessly. Her communication skill was excellent and she was able to guide my new helper well to learn quickly on diaper changing, bathing and transfer. Shella was very keen to improve on her medical help skills and she was successful to demonstrate that she was eventually able to handle my mum despite when she first came, she had not much experience with oversized disabled patient. With her persistent encouragement, my mum was able to transfer to wheelchair, to sit properly upright at the table to have her meal once and that's a huge improvement. Noemi was resourceful and her experiences from caring for patients in nursing home was evident that she was able to carry out all home medical service in an efficient manner. Filamy impressed us with her kindness and was humble. She tried her best attempt to communicate with my mum. As she was taking care of my mum when my mum had the early days of covid, there were little engagement as my mum was feeling very weak after taking medicine and slept most times. Rozy, Cristina, Sheila and Noemi were knowledgable and helpful to help share videos and links on how we can get assistance and how to scout for appropriate aided medical equipments and supplies or book wheelchair assisted transportation. They share personal caregiving experiences and these gave us great insights. We are truly appreciative for professional and excellent services that we had received and would highly recommend NTUC Health for their Interim Caregiver Services.

ICS Mary Ann I would like to thank Mary for her patience and loving care for my uncle and going the extra mile to make his stay back home as comfortable as possible. Mary was professional and got to work immediately once we reached home. I was impressed she was able to cut my Uncle's hair for him and groomed his nails. ICS = Mary Ann My family engaged ICS Mary Ann to oversee the needs and activities of our father who had just gone through a major operation to remove a tumor in his large intestine. He was not fully able to discharge the waste properly from the bag each day on his own as he had relied on the nurses at the hospital and the community hospital during his stay. Hence, he made a mess in the toilet on the second day at home. With Mary Ann’s patience and under her guidance, our father has learnt to manage the stoma bag more effectively and confidently, knowing that it is going to be a part of his life from now on. We liked the regular updates Mary Ann sent to us on daily basis. These are on top of the usual checks she made on our dad’s health like measuring his blood pressure and oxygen level using the oximeter. It really set our minds at ease that our father was well taken care of as he learnt to move and handle things himself. There was a standard routine during the two-week stint Mary Ann was with him (albeit she was away for two days and our dad missed her lively demeanour during that time! She had also definitely shown that she had a good rapport with my father.). It was this routine that our father became accustomed to and gradually, grew to set it as his own. Mary Ann’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. She kept our father mentally active too during this period. Besides running through an exercise regime every morning and afternoon with him, she also engaged him to do activities such as drawing, joining the dots, counting, etc. When our father told her the activities were too simple for him, she took it upon herself to look for slightly more difficult ones to stretch his brain. We feel that this showed her initiative and pro-active approach in dealing with the elderly, a quality every caregiver should have. We are definitely very pleased and thankful to have Mary Ann. She was definitely god-sent and a good employee to have in a company. Wishing her all the best!

Nurse Ms Ara, came to look after my mum for a day, last week. Ara organized her work well, with minimum intervention. She did an excellent job looking after my mum. Bathing, feeding and medication were on time. Wish to thank her for looking after my mum and cheering her up throughout the day.

When my dad is partially immobile, we were recommended to seek help from NTUC Health Home Care Services. My first encounter was with Sharon, a co-ordinator assigned to assist us. She went to his house to understand his needs and advised us accordingly. She also advised us on how we can utilise the grant for my dad and updated us on the status of the grant promptly. Through her arrangement, a care associate named Myo Myo, came to attend to his needs twice weekly. Based on my dad’s feedback, he said that she was very patient with him. She helped him to the bathroom and assisted him on his shower. She made sure he was comfortable before she ended her duty for the day. Myo Myo was aware that my dad had spine and knee injuries and has high risk of falling, therefore, it is important for her to manage him carefully without risking a fall! I would highly recommend the services provided by them as they helped to ease the load of the immediate caregiver! They were very professional in handling not only the administrative aspects, but also the physical aspects of the patient.

ICS Kristine supported our dad from 26 May to 07 June and we saw her positive impact on dad. Kristine's friendly, gentle, caring ways touched dad's life in many aspects. Despite the language barrier, Kristine chatted with dad, asked him about the TV shows he was watching, etc. Dad is a very serious person, but with Kristine, he began to smile more, make funny catch phrases or jingles, etc. Recalling how Kristine managed to get dad to exercise more without being imposing and these pleasant changes in dad brought sweet memories. Their help was very much appreciated by mum and myself, and they deserve 5 stars. Thank you very much. Experience with NTUC contact person Paula, as well as with 2 other nurses were dissatisfactory (even distressing - no patience, raised tone of voice at my dad amongst other issues) - would have given jus 2 stars if not for Mary Ann and Cristina. Paula was not responsive, promised to get back re: certain matter but did not even reply messages. I understand it's not easy to care for someone with dementia and aggression, but please understand that your actions may cause more distress to a family who is already very stressed with the whole situation. I had engaged 3 services through NTUC healthcare for my 92 yrs old mum after she had a fall which caused a hip fracture and she is semi mobile. Home medical care, personal care and physiotherapy. The services have helped my mum and also the caregiver tremendously . My mum had recovered well on a progressive manner. The services are scheduled and delivered promptly .The call agents are friendly and helpful too. The cost is heavily subsidised by govt under AIC, we are truly blessed . We would like to continue with these highly recommended services.

Thinzar has helped me for a long time with housekeeping...having a long term debilitating spinal nerve condition, it has been v tough to clean my house on my own. There are many good things I can say about Rickson Ang who is my father, Jimmy’s care associate. For me there’s one word that always come to mind: ANGEL. My dad is blessed to have Rickson to care for him every week for the past 2 years ... and we look forward to having many years of uninterrupted service by Rickson. Rickson is caring, kind, respectful towards not only my father he is also the same towards my mum (even tho she is not part of his service). He is always appropriate in his use of language, speaking in English and Hokkien when necessary as these are what my parents speak. The greatest characteristics for me about Rickson is he reliable and trustworthy leaving me with peace of mind when he is caring for my dad. Now that’s an employee worth looking out for by NTUC Health Home Care Service.

Good Afternoon, I heard there are a Service Angel 😇 award, and i wud Love and Have to bring to your attention High Light Ntuc Care staff- Selly ( Mdn KH ) She's been the Most Outstanding of all that i know. Even My Mum ( dementia ) are reacting in respond to her. Not everyone will get this 🙏❤️. The reasons if you wanna know. ( Hv spoken to yr Team/PIC too. Through/ Along i see, every individual are diff, can be daily/ food/ mood/ action- reaction/ language/ etc. Main will be LANGUAGE that they understand / use to hear,and after that, Consumptions-Actions-Etc , changes i notice will activate the mind/ thinking. Also all depends on their Mood Time. Thank you All again ❤️🫶
