I started seeing Dr Thomas Ho in Oct 2024 because of the excellent google reviews. During the first consultation, Dr Ho examined and analysed the need for surgery in details. After deciding to go for the surgery, Dr Ho explained the procedure patiently. During the post surgery, Dr Ho checked and did the dressing peraonally and explained the caring process in order to have a good recovery of the wound. I experienced severe abdominal pains after my c-section surgery and was admitted to the hospital. There, I was recommended to see Dr Thomas Ho. He diagnosed my condition accurately and provided me with a treatment plan that cured me, without having to go through any invasive procedures, based on diet and antibiotics. After my hospital stay I followed up with him for a couple of visits at the clinic to ensure everything was fine. The reception staff and nurses at his clinic are wonderful, prompt and attentive, responding over WhatsApp to any further questions I had that I forgot to ask. They also went the extra mile of checking with the medicine provider on some questions I had on breastfeeding while on their meds, rather than just simply googling the answer, to ensure they were giving me the right advice. Dr Thomas Ho has been a great blessing. I am very glad my friend recommended him to me to get a second opinion. I ended up choosing Dr Thomas Ho to treat my thyroid issues. I had an enlarged thyroid nodule and was very skeptical about removing my entire thyroid gland given my age. I must comment that there was so much of professionalism and care shown to me. Dr Thomas did an ultrasound evaluation and a fine-needle biopsy at the initial consultation. I did not have to go elsewhere for the scans or wait for the diagnosis. A much better experience compared to what I had another practice. Dr Thomas Ho then advised I undergo RFA. I heeded his advice and went ahead with the procedure. It was painless and scarring was minimal. I was able to get back to my routine a day later. I must also highlight that the team at Thomas Ho surgery are well trained. My enquiries were always replied very timely as well, thank you Shan. Lastly, claiming from my Insurance for the procedure was a breeze at this clinic as the clinical staff were very helpful with this.

I had undergone a thyroid surgery with Dr Thomas Ho to remove my right thyroid gland and I’m so glad I found Dr Thomas! During consultations, he was always calm, reassuring, and showed empathy by taking time to explain my condition and pros and cons of different treatment option. His nurses were also clear and efficient in arranging for my surgery. I would say that he did a fantastic job on the surgery as there was really minimal pain on my wound which is also healing well now. The post surgery care and follow up were also excellent. As there was suspicion for thyroid cancer on my nodules removed, Dr Thomas ensured that the histopathology report was completed quickly and followed up with me as soon as he could. Again he took time to explain the prognosis of my condition and that made me felt comfortable to choose the best treatment option for myself. He was never once pushy or impatient eventhough my husband and I were asking many questions. The Thomas Ho surgery clinic was very professional, amazingly helpful and was able to schedule my surgery for a hernia repair only a day after my call to set up a consultation. During the consultation I had all of my concerns addressed and was properly prepared for the day of surgery. The surgery was done with precision and care and after two weeks I was jogging and in the gym doing a light workout routine again. The incisions healed quick and we’re almost too small to notice. The front desk assisted with ensuring that my insurance covered the whole procedure and was able to process the paperwork in record time. The front desk and staff did all the communication with my insurance company and all I had to do was show up on time for the day of my surgery. The stay at Gleneagles was as good as any 5 star hotel. I was fortunate enough to have found Dr Ho through google reviews. And true to the reviews, Dr Ho was reassuring, confident and professional. He was able to quickly diagnose my problem and I was scheduled for an inguinal hernia surgery. The operation was a success and the post-op stitches are hardly visible. Great post operation care as well to ensure that everything was fine (e.g Dr Ho visited me the day after surgery to make sure everything was ok, follow-up visit 2 weeks after op for a review etc). I hardly experienced any post op pain and this is a testament to Dr Ho's sublime skills as a surgeon. His clinic assistants - Shan & Mel are also extremely helpful. I had an inflamed epidermal cyst which got me rather worried and decided to turn to private practise to seek doctor's advise from. I was reading Dr Ho's bio and felt that he is someone whom I can trust, and hence decided to make an appointment to seek advise from him. Dr Ho and his team are professional and friendly. We were recommended by GP doctor to see Dr Thomas Ho for my father’s lump in the abdomen. After CT scan, he was diagnosed with liposarcoma. Dr Thomas Ho arranged for the operation and successfully removed the tumor from my father’s abdomen. Recovery was fast. A week after the operation on 1st February 2023, my father was abled to vacuum the floor :) Usually, I will like to seek second opinion as I do not trust a doctor easily due to previous bad experience. I had a Thyroidectomy on 15 Feb 22 with Dr Thomas Ho Surgery in MAH. Some background to it, i chanced unto Dr Ho accidentally by a stranger, i thus read the review and decided to see him the next day. i was referred to another specialist earlier but the earlier surgeon was not confident to perform my surgery and wanted to opt to be a surgeon assistant to it. Anyone hearing it will not have confidence and that explains why i wanted to seek for a 2nd opinion on my condition. I have graves + nodules on my thyroid and the only way to recovery is TT. I went the next day to visit Dr Ho, he is very comprehensive and patient in hearing me and explaining to me. i am a very decisive person and that very moment i booked my date for the operation as he gave me a peace within that he will do a great job. On 15th Feb i did my operation at 830am and as mentioned earlier it's a complex operation and thus it took an hr more than the initial 3 hrs that were forecasted. It was rough on 1st 2 days and i was a bit agitated, however Dr Ho is still very patient and came late at night to see if i am doing well. To me, most surgeons are really cold after the operation, however he displayed a different aura altogether, i can see that he has the care and passion to ensure that his patient is on the road to recovery. Thus i am thankful. The nurses over at his clinic are extremely professional. 1 is extremely friendly and precise in explaining the insurance details, the other is super gentle and guiding me on the medications. I highly recommend Dr Ho if u have a similar condition like me. To me, the most impt is the surgeon and not the hospital, SG, being so advance, any hospital will have the necessary equipment to assist the surgeon but the skillsets are only relevant to the doc themselves.

I was a patient to Doctor Thomas Ho in January 2021. I have always been afraid of anyone else doing intrusive in my body. Dr. Ho changed this impression. I went into Mt. Alvernia seeking treatment for a lump in my right leg. When Dr. Ho was summoned to look at me in the late evening, i was actually very surprised a standby doctor took so much of care and concern for a patient. I actually wished he was the doctor i was assigned, which i found out later, he was. Dr. Ho was always very interactive and not pushy. He provided his most professional opinion and provided options. and the short- and long-term impacts of each choice. Dr. Ho did not just execute the option i chose. Every step of the way he was continuously assessing me on whether the option we chose was still the best. I underwent a further surgery to close up the "valley" in my leg and a couple more reviews. They were all very pleasant and very assuring on the progress. His staff are also equally kind and caring and courteous. I learnt from my doctor, Dr HK Ho that I went through a very difficult and critical surgery, and Dr Thomas Ho had to be call in to lend his expertise, and did an amazing job. Went to dr. Ho to get my abdomen and colon checked. He's very attentive to my symptoms and previous lab results. Process in both clinic and hospital was quick and seamless, thanks to Shan who managed all the necessities. Noteworthy that gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures in Singapore doesnt require the patient to pass PCR test (it's 2023 but Indonesian hospitals still have mandatory covid test 🙄).

My wife underwent a successful surgery performed by Dr Thomas. It was a major one with few other doctors standby. Things went smoothly and professionally. It took my wife couple of days to recover and discharged from the hospital. Dr. Thomas was the one went through with us from the beginning till the end with many things going on as my wife case was considered to be rare. As a husband, I felt deeply appreciated for the professionalism, the patience and the care Dr. Thomas had shown and spent with us. Due to Covid, I wasn't allowed to be in the operation room, but Dr. Thomas called and updated me what's going on and pacified me when needed. Post operation, my wife told me that Dr. Thomas after having his second Vaccine dose and didnt look obviously well, but still passed by the hospital and checked on her recovery progress. She appreciated that. He also was transparent with us with the laboratory results and prepared us well enough during the early phase of the journey... it horrified us to be honest but looking back, it was the right call so that we were prepared. (fortunately, our case turned out to be much more positive than we could imagined) Post discharge, whenever my wife had any questions, he always spent adequate time to explain or asked us to over. Of course, we also can't forget his staff. They were all excellent. Very caring. I remembered they passed my wife box of tissue when she (or we?) burst into happy tear at the end. This is an over-due review but our feeling and our appreciation is still afresh.

One of the toughest emotional challenge in life, is to watch your love one struggle when she discovers she has a potentially fatal illness and then deciding what to do with it. This was the case with my fiancée and each day as we discussed, I could see the fear and confusion bearing down on her. I wish I could bear that fear for her and take part of that struggle away. Even though I tried to be as positive as I could, in her presence, away from her, I too was struggling emotionally. It did not help even when we had consulted several 'specialist', as they were keenly only indulging in discourses about test and procedures and completely missed the fact that this was a patient that had never ever stayed a day in hospital much less have an important organ removed from her. But it is always in the darkest of night that you will find the brightest star and it came in a random chance of being recommended to Dr. Thomas Ho. Dear Dr Thomas Ho, We would like to express our deepest gratitude to you, our respectable Dr Thomas Ho. Ms Chua Kay Ling, your patient who was diagnosed with Terminal Rectal Cancer in year 2017, and the cancer had already spread to many other parts of her body and organs. At that time, many other doctors told us that she would have only a year to live. Kay Ling's sudden medical condition was a great shock to us because she was only 36 years old and she is the only kin of my dear wife Kay Tse. We were devastated and completely lost. We pray to God constantly, praying for God’s mercy to keep her alive; we pray that God bestows the best and wisest doctor to cure Kay Ling’s disease. Kay Ling had undergone dozens of minor & major operations (involving the specialists doctors from several departments) and hundreds of heavy-dose chemotherapy sessions. Shortly after Kay Ling's first major operation, her medical condition got worsened and she was in a critical condition. At that time, several professional medical teams in the hospital concluded the urgent need to perform a second major operation on her. And you, Dr. Ho took over this important task and became her main attending doctor. At that time, we were very lost and anxious but you gave us a lot of encouragement and confidence. You even prayed for Kay Ling before the operation, which we will never forget. We were well aware that Kay Ling's condition was not optimistic then. In this world, nothing is more devastating than learning the bad news about your own health. I went through it myself. Recalling this whole journey, until this very moment, I still can't help getting emotional. I feel extremely blessed that I was referred to Dr. Ho. I went through 2 surgeries with him, first had my right thyroid removed, then my left.
