Reviews of Bliss Hotel Singapore
Lovely crew and help came from every direction.
Friendly stuff easy to check in and out, and they even offer to keep you luggage last day and offer you to use their spare showers before you check out.
Super clean.
Excellent location and connections.
Will be back soon.
Our go-to hotel in Singapore.
Highly recommended.
Bliss Hotel Singapore offers clean, modern rooms in Chinatown, steps from the MRT. Ideal for short stays, it features excellent service and amenities. However, room sizes are compact, which may not suit all travelers. A great pick for location and value seekers.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is a 3 minute walk from the Chinatown MRT line. All very convenient.
However, our room was not great. I'm not sure if they added this room in after the fact, but it was right beside the lobby. During night, the light from the lobby would shine into our room from a crack in the wall. We could also hear all the conversations through out the nights. The bathroom set was also odd.
Nicest hotel we could find with a not terrible price. Singapire is very expensive so the cost wasn’t great compared to Thailand where we came from but it was better than anything else with decent reviews. We got the cheapest room without a window. It’s not too small but also not big. My biggest complaint is that it’s on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes up to 4 so you need to walk the last flight of stairs. Room was cleaned everyday. The shower is annoying as it doesn’t have a door so water gets everywhere. Across the street from the MRT. Exit at gate E at Chinatown station for the closest exit. Overall good room for the price. Recommend for travelers not wanting a hostel or cube hotel experience.
We are very thankful to bliss hotel. The room is very comfy and all the staff are kind and accommodating. It's highly recommended for everyone. We didn't encounter any problems during our five-day stay here. That's why our vacation and stay at Singapore Bliss Hotel were extremely enjoyable. 🤩❤️🤩❤️
Excellent budget hotel for a short stay in Singapore. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They helped plan our mini break and arranged transport and explained key local customs for the first time visitor.
We will definitely co sider Singapore & The Bliss next year for our stopover enrpute to Europe.
We had the Double Delux room which had a king size bed, 3 windows, own shower toilet and enough room to put down our two massive cases and also our overhead locker bags. We found it clean with tissues, toothbrushes and toothpaste paste provided. Shower gel and shampoo in dispensers in the shower which drained well and dried out completely. Towels were changed daily if we wanted and two small water bottles, tea, coffee etc provided daily. Large water bottle also available in room for $2 each and instant noodle boxes also for $2 ea.... cheaper than supermarket. Also a small fridge which held our daily snacks and water bottles and a safe. Hooks on wall with 2 hangers for clothes. Bed very comfortable. Location is excellent with China town around the corner, shopping centre across the road and market mall across the other road. Staff polite and helpful. We could store out luggage and go out on the last day. Would definitely stay again.
Great rooms and the convenience of Chinatown within the area for food and shopping!
Small rooms, but that’s probably normal in Singapore. Friendly staff. Cleaning is perfect. Excellent shower, once you figure out that there is a switch for the hot water. Good beds, 1,8m wide.
The biggest issue is lack of space to put your clothes or dry the towels. We had a family room but there’s only one tiny shelf for 4 people with large suitcases. There’s plenty of wall space to put up some more.
There’s a mall with a large Fair Price supermarket and a metro station accross the street. Just around the corner from the heart of Chinatown, with lots of local shops and markets.
Really nice hotel to stay and in the center of Singapore’s central business district. Only 3mins going to MRT and very convenient location. A lot of food stalls and restos to eat from and it was only on the other side of the street of Chinatown Point Mall and near People’s Place where you can buy a lot of cheap items and food.
Rooms are clean, very cold air conditioning and staffs are nice and friendly. You will have to pay a security deposit of 50SGD upon checkin. Please note that the rooms have no window, but regardless of it, it was very comfortable to stay in. If you ate looking for a cheap place to stay in Singapore, this hotel is recommended.
Judging from all the reviews here, I feel like I should give it a higher rating.
Pro: really great location. Close to all the hawker food centres, Chinatown and mrt. Service was good. Left housekeeper a tip but they never took it.
Con: the rooms are extremely outdated. It had two rooms but it still felt cramped. Probably because the windows were locked and it felt like a closed box. Washroom was right in the front entrance. Sink was outside the washroom? Frosted glass as washroom walls? Everything was old and dated. There are no sound proofing. I can hear karaoke at night and people in halls as if I left my doors opened. The hallways smelled of mala hotpot.
Maybe I expected more from $230 a night rooms. Everything just seems off. I’ve been to Tokyo and spaces are cramped and much smaller but it never felt anything like this. I just wanted to leave as soon as I’m awake. Location alone made this place bearable. But it’s $50 a night at best.
3 star because maybe I was expecting too much for Singapore.
Excellent location, close to Chinatown area and the MRT, with plenty of food options nearby.
Cleanliness, a small refrigerator, a tiny electric kettle, two free little bottles of water each day, two large bottles of water (2 SGD each), and two cups of rechargeable instant noodles are all provided in the rooms.
Free body wash, shampoo, and two sets of toothbrushes and toothpaste are available in the bathroom.
Free wifi, friendly staff
There is a deposit of 50 SGD per room returned upon check-out.
Love hotel very clean and tidy service is great, would definately recommend
I found it hardly acceptable to deposit $50 though I paid beforehand.
The room is very clean. The location is very covenient. just in front of MRT station and shopping center.
The bathroom is embedded within the room. Room is clean
Gotten the suite room as I wanted a bathtub. The bathtub is faulty (called housekeeping twice to drain the water). The room is spacious but the counters are stained.Everything was still acceptable till when we check out. So they were checking the room to ensure nothing broken etc but ended up they found a pair of boxers that wasn’t even ours!!! felt quite disgusted knowing about it.So if you’re looking to book a room here, do check around the room who knows what you might find. But overall, it’s a good location as it’s near many Michelin food. Good for foodies!
Very happy with my 2 night stay. I checked in after midnight, and the kettle was not working properly. I called the reception and Riza answered. As there were no maintenance personnel at that hour, she went the extra mile to come to my room to sort out the faulty plug point. I was delighted to then be able to boil some water for my tea. Then I was surprised how hot the shower was, I love a great shower. I slept great, I was on the 5th floor, and it was nice and peaceful. Despite not having any windows, the experience was blissful, and the 2 nights passed quickly. I was also surprised about the location. I did not know much about Chinatown but found it easy to navigate there by foot, plus the MRT station was nearby. The only area they need to improve is perhaps to have a shower curtain, so the WC or toilet area does not get wet when you shower. The manager on duty even gave me an extra hour to check out at 1pm, instead of noon, and also offered to keep my bags in his security room, until later that day, after I had checked out. Kudos to Donald and his team for making my stay pleasant, effortless, and remarkable! I will be back. Nash Bhullar. 30th August 2022.
It was very nice staying at bliss hotel and all the staffs and manager are very helpful and kind . The location of the hotel is just across the Chinatown MRT so very convenient and so much of good food around there .
Strategic location, in the front of chinatown point.. easy looking for food. Near 7 eleven.. to chinatown market we can walk only 500m👍🏻
The Bliss Hotel is located centrally in Singapore, right next to a well connected MRT station, as well as the exciting and hip China Town. Even though the location is central, it is quite calm in and around the hotel. The rooms were fine, though a little to the small size. The staff and commodities were great.
Neat and clean room. Very strategic and close to MRT station. Just a few meter of walk you already close too near by mall, foodcourts, market and several temples.
But the bad thing is the room is very noisy at night. You can hear a lot of water drops, it almost like someone drops a huge bucket of water on the roof. If you can't sleep with a lot of noise at night, I don't recommend this hotel.
Great hotel for a single traveler, they don't provide breakfast, the room is quite small but enough for 1 or 2 persons. Reasonable price, clean, the location is excellent because of close to MRT station, bus station, local food, and hawker food centers. I have a great time here, and I would do it again whenever I have a chance to stay extra days in Singapore.
Very convenient location just next to the Chinatown MRT station. At a very short walking distance there are lots of local restaurants and also some western style bars and restaurants.
This Bliss hotel itself is a nice, smallish hotel and there is not any kind of restaurant. My room included also a breakfast, but I just got instructions how to download an app and how to get a free breakfast at Yakun Kaya Toast restaurant in a close by shopping mall.
A comfortable room and a proper bahtroom. I the room there were an empty minibar, a safe and two small bottles of water free. Wi-Fi did exist, but it wasn’t usable in the afternoons and evenings. A very quiet and efficient Daikin aircon!
I could definitely visit here again.
Value for price but soundproofing isn’t that good. Footsteps and chitchat and music can be heard from next door. Overall still a great night to stay if u wanna explore chinatown
It is located beside hotel 81, just in front of Chinatown point mall and MRT station. Surrounding has many shops, eateries and hawker centre. The room is small.
Great location with mrt station right in front of the hotel. The room looks great and clean too. The staff is friendly.
Great location, nice staff and a comfortable room
Great location in China Town. Room was nicely decorated and well set out. Hotel staff friendly. Would stay there again.
Its located in chinatown. Good place. I order the quad room..its clean and spacious. The crew also helpfull. If you stay in this hotel..you just walk for a few minutes to go chinatown. Go out from the hotel..turn left and just walk along the way...there are many food that we can explore..recomended..
Great Location, Small room but super comfy, very friendly staff too. Will come back to stay again!
I am glad I chose this hotel. The location is very convenient, just a few blocks and I am to my next destination. The room is neat and tidy. We had a comfortable stay.
The room is tidy and clean, which is really good! But the room insulation needs to improve.
Location was super convenient and the room was not bad for the price. Loved the fact the hotel employs Kohler brand products at the bath area.
Smooth check in, good wifi connectivity, strong water pressure, comfortable bed and cold aircon. Recommend to budget visitors and not fussy people.
Hotel is in Great location, all in all, good value in Singapore. Close to the subway for easy access to central attractions.
Location is super, room is clean except a bit small. The room is ideal for short budget traveller and location is ideal for tourist to walk around Chinatown especially now nearing Chinese New Year,
Very helpful staff, nice clean room, great position in China town right opposite MRT station
Near MRT and bus station. Room also very clean, amenities like towel clean.
Near many chinese restaurant
The service was solid and the hotel room was spotless. fair price for the location
3rd time Staycation at this hotel..Great location as eateries are within walking distance and linked to 2 train lines. We enjoyed our stay with privacy and room size was great too.
The place is convenient for food along china town room is not bad spacious enough for a couple to stay for a night, staff is easy to approach cleanliness is ok
Clean rooms, friendly staff, short walk to ChinaTown, train stop across the road. A great base to explore Singapore.
Good hotel, awesome location. Really close to the Chinatown subway station. Very new, therefore clean hotel.
I lobe everything in this hotel. Spacious, near the bus stop and mrt station and lots of restaurant outside
Good location. Room is small but appropriate for its price and location. Friendly and helpful staff
Very comfortable price at city area and central to everywhere such as Sentosa Island, Marina Bay Sand and City Hall n so on
Nice and clean hotel. 1 min walk from Chinatown MRT station & shopping mall.
Nice but air conditioning not enough cool
Hotel rates are good and affordable. Facilities are good too.
Great location and value for money, Donald at the front desk is super helpful and willing to go extra mile to meet the needs of the customers
My family went there for staycation 2days 1night .. My husband like the the room space as we take family squad room ...
Nice hotel! Just a few seconds to reach the MRT station 😊
Nice hotel to stay. Will be back again. Nice and friendly staff.
Good location
Pretty decent paint job. Lobby is too dark
Perfect location, right in front of China Town station, near Clark Quay.
small room but good for a budget hotel
Easy access, Hotel clean. The staff also friendly
Super friendly staff... Very welcoming...

Very good accommodation experience,
The location is in the bustling area of Chinatown,
The transportation is convenient and extends in all directions.
It's also very close to the nearby cooked food center on foot.
When I checked in at the front desk, the Indian accent was difficult to understand.
But it went well,
The room I booked this time is on the fifth floor.
You have to take the elevator to the 4th floor first and then take the stairs.
Living in a house with an attic is considered a large room,
You have to turn on the hot water switch yourself. It's next to the door.
The plug is from IWC,
It’s very convenient to not need an adapter.
It's pretty quiet at night.
Rooms are small but clean. Located right at an intersection and therefore noisy at night. The location is ideal for excursions as the subway is right on the doorstep. Chinatown 3 minutes walk.
We loved this hotel, it is located in an unbeatable location, right in front of the Chinatown subway stop. The room is small but that is not a problem, it was also very clean. The bed very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The right price.
I recommend this hotel. Everything is good, but for Indonesians there is only one concern, namely that the toilets are dry toilets, unlike in Indonesia where there is water. However, the toilets and bathrooms are very clean, the location is near the MRT, there are lots of cheap culinary places.
Although it is an old hotel, the location is great as it is close to Chinatown.
Please note that various services may be charged.
This hotel is very well located in Chinatown and less than 100m from the Metro entrance. ||My disappointment was the size of the room which was much too small (the bed fit between two walls) therefore very little living space and no window. The bathroom was well equipped but also too small and without a counter for personal effects.||So, ok for one night but a little expensive.
The location of the hotel is great, right next to the Chinatown subway. We had a windowless room, it was totally noisy, you could hear every toilet flushing, voices, etc. In addition, music was played in the hotel in the morning, which you could therefore hear in the room. The toilet was ok, as was the rain shower, but it is quite moldy on the ceiling and the plaster is peeling off... ||I wouldn't go to this hotel again, maybe the hotel 81 (which is right next to it) or the bearhostel a few steps further.
We chose the Bliss Hotel because of its location. Although the location is ok, the proximity to the Chinatown MRT station is unbeatable, and the shopping center is directly opposite, the room was disappointing. Firstly, very small and cramped, with a step just below the bed that we always tripped over at first. The room wasn't windowless (which other hotels had rejected for that reason), but the shutters were tightly closed and couldn't be opened, leaving only a small skylight that showed you the difference between day and night. The hotel would no longer be my first choice.
Near MRT Chinatown exit E, cross the road and get to the hotel. The atmosphere inside the hotel is very clean and fragrant. | The bedroom is not very spacious. But it has everything you need to sleep comfortably. This place is very strict about the smell of cigarettes. Suitable for people who don't like the smell of cigarettes. |As for the employees, they are friendly, provide good service, and help with everything. |Located near Chinatown street food, near Seawheel, great location. Easy to find food to eat Shopping is convenient.
For a family of 5 (3 children) we made a reservation via the web. ||No extra bed for our 4 year old boy, very small 2-room room - it felt like a Parisian hotel, on the 2nd floor. Overlooking the terrace, where all the air conditioning vents are located - hence a constant background noise.||2nd room of the family room very small and so cleverly designed that you have to get out of bed and walk 5 m to turn off all the lights.||The installations are recent and therefore suitable. An RJ42 Ethernet socket, which is said to be very good, is available. The WiFi is correct but uncertain when several of us connect. No breakfast offered but good bakery nearby and possibility of making coffee and tea in the room (kettle and small fridge).||All this would have deserved a better review if we had not had to confront the management of an incident: when we returned to our room around 2 p.m., a shoe - purchased the day before, had disappeared. After searching for a long time and questioning the children, we reported the disappearance to reception. What followed was a visit from the housekeeper who returned the room empty-handed. Then another visit, 30 minutes later, with one more person, for the same search, and for the same result. Of course, all this during the one day when our youngest was willing to take a nap, I was very pleased to see that our words were not believed and that we could be people to cause trouble for a shoe. ||Thanks to this commotion, we were able to see that the cleaning was actually being done on the visible surfaces. An old sock, a drawing and a lot of dust appeared as soon as we moved the furniture a little.||As for the rest of the events, despite daily questioning at the reception, we only received evasive answers, searches made but unsuccessful although the linen was inspected. Never a hint of a solution or recognition of the incident was considered.||I would therefore conclude by saying that this hotel is well located (although having a preference for the typical Litlle India rather than the dirty ChinaTown), poorly maintained - given the dirt that is left in the rooms, and managed by people with no quality for managing minor incidents.
