Reviews of Harbour Ville Hotel
Harbour Ville Hotel is a fantastic choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Singapore. Located near Sentosa and Chinatown, it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the city’s top attractions without breaking the bank.
The rooms are compact but clean and well-maintained, providing everything you need for a good night’s rest. The beds are comfortable, and the amenities are basic but sufficient, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a hot shower. For the price, it’s a great deal in a city where hotel costs can be high.
The standout feature here is the friendly and attentive staff. From check-in to checkout, the team goes out of their way to make guests feel welcome, offering local tips and assistance with any questions. They truly add a warm, personal touch to the experience.
While the facilities are simple, Harbour Ville Hotel also has a small gym, and there are several nearby convenience stores and eateries, making it easy to grab snacks or meals. Public transportation is accessible, so getting around is a breeze.
Overall, Harbour Ville Hotel is a solid, affordable choice for anyone visiting Singapore who values friendly service and a central location. It’s a great base for exploring the city without splurging on luxury—highly recommended for budget travelers!
Simple and budget hotel, Great location with free car park provided, there's a small titbits corner, Everything is good except the bed is consider a bit soft, not suitable for back pain person
The location is good. Free basic children childhood type of snacks on the lobby. My children love it. Very good service. The staff was good 👍
Bus stop is less than 5min walk away, hotel is 2 stops away from Vivo City/ Harbourfront. Hotel was fairly clean but do note that toilet door has a slight gap so the inside is visible.
The room and service were both exquisite. Had a pleasant experience during my brief stay and appreciated its proximity to the old Theresa Church and Faber Mount Park. Just note that there is no direct access to any MRT station. As I have observed, most visitors here have their own vehicles.
The room was very nice. We stayed with our children. We asked for two rooms next to each other. Jason assisted in this matter. We also had two sets of keys for our convenience.
The lady who cleaned our rooms was very humble and kind. One day I asked for few bottles of water and she gave us. The next day while she was cleaning our room she left the water for our children's room as well without asking. So kind!
The best location for all our activities during our holidays in Singapore!
Thank you!
Good location near to vivo city and Sentosa. The room I stayed in. The aircon is cold which is good. The toilet simple and nice don’t be alarm with the pipe sound it’s fine. The mini fridge working fine. The mattress need to be improved. Overall good stay 👍🏻😬👍🏻
Service was excellent especially from front desk staffs, room not so big but very comfortable and clean, recommended👍.
Located in a residential estate located just a short ride on the bus (2 stops) away from Vivocity! The location makes the area a really peaceful area without compromising on location.
Best of all, the price is really affordable as well! Got my room at a discounted rate with a promotion via their website.
Would recommend this hotel especially if you are heading into Sentosa! Ideal location without breaking the wallet!
It is a okay location. My room didn't have hot water.
We book here yesterday only. The smallest room I’ve ever seen in my life. I never expect the $200 that we paid we will get that kind of room like worst I ever seen. Hotel got ants when you put food at the side table 😄 but if all hotel is full to the nearest place you want to go, this will work for you. You can just give it a try. Aircon is old but it’s working. No ventilation. Tv is very small but remote is not working.
The room is very dirty, many small bugs on the table and the room smell very bad, no standard facilities like refrigerator, hair dryer even the bathroom had no hot water and the phone inside the room is not work, can’t call to room service and u need to go downstairs yourself if u looking for anyone, it’s the worst hotel I ever stayed. Rubbish hotel!
Singapore prices are quite cheap, but the location is not strategic, far from the MRT, but can still be reached by bus, tourists have to learn to understand bus routes hehe, there was a deposit, for 3 days it was 100 SGD, but overall okay ☺️
The front desk staff led by Jerlyn and team mates Rowena, Helen,Lovely, Jaison and Edison provided excellent service. They may not be a 5 star rated hotel but is certainly top class.||I enjoyed my 3 month stay with them.. Always go extra mile..
Been doubting my reservation seeing all the mixed reviews here. But after my stay, I am happy to say that there is nothing wrong with the hotel. Nothing too great but nothing bad either (and I feel that is way more important for people who just wants a good place to stay the night comfortably and be out all the day). Also a great location. Not close to the MRT but the convenient bus service's stop is just outside.
Pretty okay location and quiet from traffic but some piping or cleaning door noise when trying to sleep at night/morning. Nice lounge chair next to bed to relax. Have somewhat okay view of condo beside
The whole place needs an over haul. ||Dirty rooms, What looks like alcohol thrown onto walls. We have complained and been shown other rooms all to the same level of dirty. ||No safe to keep passports ||Ages away from any food restaurants ||Smells like wet dogs ||Staff weren't very accodating ||Wouldn't refund us especially seeing as we did not choose this particular room when booking. Photos look nothing like the actual hotel ||Rate 1 ||We have paid over 300 Australian dollars to stay here for three nights and currently booking another hotel because it's that dirty. What a waste of our time. Holiday and money. Such a shame
Nice place, friendly staff, good sized room. Location is a bit of a walk away from any train station, but there is a bus nearby. Definitely book online - if you just walk in like I did it was much more expensive!
I stayed almost 2 months in this hotel. Nice Hotel. Friendly staff. House keeping was good especially Ms. Lethcumy.
On time and very clean when she cleaned the room.Always smiling face. For food u need to go a bit far. other than that good place with good price. Ms. Lethcumy doing great job. Keep it up <3
Fast internet. Location not bad although few hawkers within proximity but many bus Vivocity or Tanjong Pagar. Bed sheets is clean, pillow a little bit hard but mattress is well soft. (-) no wardrobe /cabinet to store clothes. Room is not big yet not small.
If you need a place to sleep, then this is it. But wouldn't recommend it for family trip. Business trip and if you traveling on a budget.
Very small room, if you travel together and bring big luggage, the room going to be very tight.
No convenience store or eateries within walking distance. No MRT station close by. Taxi or Grab or GoRide is the only way to travel.
it's in a quiet neighborhood, room is clean. Bring your own shampoo since they don't provide decent one
Didnt get a room with good view. Kettle was rusty and took them 3 hours to find me a new one. But they did in the end! So overall the location is the plus point between Vivo and Chinatown!
The hotel is quite cheap, my room was facing the road. Close to the church and bus stops. The room maids are also friendly. unfortunately there was no breakfast and far enough to find food around the hotel and the shower in the bathroom was broken (R.704)
The front desk staff led by Jerlyn and team mates Rowena, Helen, Lovely, Jaison and Edison provided excellent service. They may not be 5 star rated but it is top class hotel
A very simple hotel. Clean n tidy. Just recently renovated I believe, so very clean. Location is not too convenient, ie quite a long way from anywhere else
Bed not clean got something bit me Aircon too cold cannot adjust
Place is great. But if u are planning a luxurious stay then i wont suggest this as its too small, by small i mean so small that even ur door wont open completely. But still 2 people can sleep properly. Plus point is that its close to sentosa but little far from main city
Is very clean and nearby CBD good location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will stay again 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
it’s nice and clean but far from town. the room is nice as it’s been renovated
A Good Hotel with Clean Rooms. Connectivity with Bus is good to go to Vivo City or Outram Park. Very near to Vivo City to go to Sentosa. Hotel Staff is Good and supportive. Singapore Tourist Guide is available to support placed in a rack with updated information to save you on cost. Uber also works fine ne here. There is No restaurant so you will have to go out for dinners. Getting Vegetarian Food in this area also a very very difficult.
Room doesn't look like "Newly Renovated" at all. Toilet drainage still with hair left behind by the previous guests. Nothing amazing.
Fast checking in, room is clean and new. Very near to vivo city and chinatown
Wonderful experience: price worthy, big rooms for Singapore, good service and clean
Room is not as spacious as shown on website. Don't expect the same room as photo shown. I didn't get Handy as it's told on website too. But cozy place to stay and near to Vivo City.
Although clean, this room was made for sleeping only (On a rock hard bed & lumpy pillows). The toilet was in with the shower! Not much room if you're a large person. Ok for a night or two.
Very clean just upgraded and new renovation.very quite for relex vacation near by vivo city and town, easy to take bus go Chinatown.👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Clean room with cold Aircon Near to vivacity ( about 10 mins walk & sentosa ( 7 mins drive ) . There s a bus stop opposite . Recommended
In the picture looks great, but in reality it’s just OK hahahha the plus, room size is kinda big for a singaporean standard. I took a grab from Harborfront MRT to the hotel for SGD6.
This is the place i stay every time i visit Singapore. Rooms are clean and updated but small as usual here. Rates are low, especially if you book early, and location is close to Vivocity.
Normal hotel. Location is great as it is close to harbourfront. But not much amenities around hotel.
Nice hotel, for a night but anymore it;s just not worth it.However location was quite good to get around. With Vivo city and bus stops close by.
First time stay in this hotel not to bad, very clean can still improve .
Clean , comfortable bed smart TVEasy parking ,nearest shop stall and shopping centre
Small hotel with basic services. I stayed 4 nights and it was OK. Public transport is often a problem.
The place is situated few steps away from a bus station and MRT station, commute friendly hotel and attentive hotel staff.
Comfortable and clean. Easy to get to bus, MRT and Vivo shopping centre. Close to Sentosa.
Nice room and washroom was clean nice place to stay the environment wad sogoood
Nice service, overall is good and acceptable …..Will support again
Good service, close to bus station that can access many tourists place
Pleasant hotel, close to the bus station 20min ride to the city..
Newly renovated nice spacious rooms.
It’s is cheap prize and not bad
An affordable accommodation yet in a reasonable price.
Must good quality and service
Comfortable and clean hotel. Even though the rooms are not too big. However, there is only local television. So entertainment in the room is not enough. If you just sleep, it's very comfortable.
The service is ok, including when asking about the location of the laundry, they are answered in a friendly and precise location.
Only the location is close to Vivocity. But for places to eat around the hotel, there are several hawkers but when I checked I couldn't find any that were halal. Maybe there's another hawker. So to eat, it's better to go to Vivocity, take the bus for only 2 stops.
There is no breakfast, but it is available on Agoda, so be careful!
It's very convenient to go to Universal Studios the next day. It's only 2 stops away by bus. There's a big difference between the room and the photos on Agoda.
Mid-level hotel. Price - quality. The room is small, clean, everything works. From the metro you can take buses (pictured) from harbourfront exit D two stops, from outram park .,.🤔 I don’t remember.
The hotel basically served its purpose. After all, we were only there to sleep. ||The room was extremely small, so you had to constantly step over your suitcases to get into the bathroom, which was also very small. When you showered there, everything was under water. WiFi was okay ||What bothered me the most and why I wouldn't sleep there again is that everything is very noisy. The windows are simply glazed and you can hear everything from the hallway!!||||I was also bothered by the fact that the hotel is a bit remote from the subway network. You first have to take the bus to get to the next station. It's still 15 minutes by train to Marina Bay.||So if you're looking for something central, you've come to the wrong place. ||I can't say anything about breakfast
Hotel with quite good service and affordable prices. The place is quite clean and the service is 3 star standard. The atmosphere here is very peaceful, in the morning and evening you will hear birds chirping, the air is also fresh. Dispensers and snacks are provided in the lobby. If you visit Singapore on a backpacker budget, this hotel could be an alternative. Mattress, dressing table, wardrobe, AC, TV and cool/hot shower. Provides laundry and clean room services. Enjoy your holiday in Singapore
We booked the hotel on the website - and pre-booked it by mail. When booking, a transfer was ordered from the airport upon arrival, and an early transfer (5 AM) to the airport upon departure. And breakfast is ordered separately for all days of stay. A separate payment is taken for everything. The hotel is not located in the center - so either take a taxi or public transport. Breakfast is a C grade - but overall tolerable. The kill rates are average - but also tolerable. In general, the hotel itself is 3 points on a 5-point scale. But the staff is the biggest minus of this establishment!!! There is no breakfast on Sunday (although it is sold on the website) - the administrator at the counter is trying to pretend that everything is ok, as it should be, and there is no need to return the price already paid. When leaving early, a packed lunch was promised. In the morning, of course, there was nothing. And again an attempt to pretend that everything is ok! Like, I'm a fool myself. I had to swear to get the money back - write a letter, etc. To be fair, it should be noted that they returned it within 3 days. Transfer - we also had to wait an extra 30 minutes - because the driver overslept, and the receptionist at the hotel did not call in advance and did not wake up the driver. As a result, we almost missed the plane. As a result, I do not recommend it even considering the low price. The attitude of the staff is the most disgusting I have ever encountered.
The location of the hotel is not convenient, it is 25 minutes away from the subway station. The hotel's hygiene needs to be improved. I actually found tiny ants on the bed....||For Singapore, the room is not too fine and the cleanliness of the bathroom is good. Only the beds really need to be improved. ||The hotel provides breakfast, which is not many types and is very simple. The hotel also has a gym with only a few pieces of equipment. But at such a cheap price, it is pretty good to have breakfast and a gym. ||Overall, if the hotel can improve its hygiene level, you can consider staying here again.
The hotel is located 5 minutes by bus from Chinatown. From there you can easily reach everything on foot or by MRT. The rooms are very small but clean and enough to sleep. The breakfast is not a mega buffet but sufficient. The hotel is more than enough for a city trip. It's not a big luxury.
I booked this place because I intended to visit Sentosa. Looking from the internet, it seems very close. In fact, it's not far from the distance from the hotel to Vivo City, probably about a little over a kilometer. But because this trip has little time Don't want to waste time Therefore it is better to call a taxi service. I went out and called on the side of the road instead of having to call through the hotel counter. Because the driver will charge a little more. The room I stayed in was quite small but very clean. The mattress is very soft and comfortable to sleep on. The towels were so clean I wanted to stuff them in my bag to take home. But the TV has only a few channels. I can only watch Channel News Asia. That is, watch while charging the iPad battery only. There is coffee + coffee mate placed along with a kettle. But there is no free water in the refrigerator or placed in the room. I don't know if he has one or not. I didn't ask because I happened to have one from the airport. The Wi-Fi in the room works well. You can ask for the password from the reception. If you go down to the lobby area, you have to request again. Breakfast only has sausage. Boiled beans (or something, I don't know), toasted bread with butter + jam, fresh milk is considered very ordinary. But it's understandable because it's a small hotel. If you don't have hundreds of guests, you probably won't have many lined up. I really like the shower here because it gives a gentle flow of water, making it so fun I almost don't want to quit. Overall, it's okay for the price. And suitable for people who will travel to Sentosa. Because hotels in Sentosa are twice as expensive or more.
There is no slope from Harbourfront Station, but it takes about 15 minutes to walk and can be quite tiring if you have luggage. The bus stop stops right in front of you, so we recommend taking the bus, although it is only for one section. The interior is simple and white, and the shower room is integrated with the toilet and is small. There was a hair dryer, and I could refill the mineral water in the hallway, so it was convenient in a sense as long as I had a plastic bottle.
The staff is very friendly, but there are many disadvantages... For example, people clean the rooms and do not provide bags (coffee, tea, sugar...)
And bathroom accessories, the hotel does not provide hand towels!!! And the rooms are very cramped, this can be proven by the fact that when you take a bath, you wash directly with the toilet (very unpleasant)!!! And water filters, only on the 5th and 8th floors! But there are also advantages because on the 1st floor there are 2 jars of cookies and there are bags nearby, and you can take as many of them as you like! At the same time, the hotel has an exchanger to change currency! And the hotel has a shop that sells drinks and snacks! The hotel also has a hotel for disabled and elderly tourists!
Please correct your shortcomings and the hotel will be right on ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!!!!!!!
great..if can get lower rate bcos location quite faraway..but nearby harbourfront
The rooms great
Only in Hong Kong have I ever lived in such a small room.||But it's fine for 2 nights! It's a good thing we only traveled with hand luggage, I wouldn't have known where to put a large suitcase. Including the toilet/shower, it was barely more than 10 square meters... but what can you expect for the money in Singapore... in Thailand you get at least 4* for this price.||The room was clean and functional, Unfortunately we couldn't connect the hard drive we had brought with us to the flatscreen TV!||The location, 2 bus stops from the VIVO Center with the MRT in the basement and the tram to Sentosa, was ok!
