Reviews of InterContinental Singapore
Located in the city center, this historical hotel keeps great stay experience. I came here for a conference and enjoyed the breakfasts, slept well, received good services from the staffs. Recomended
We booked the family themed room. Room was very clean, toilet was spotless and bed was very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly. Awesome location that we could just go to the mall and grab stuff. Kids had a lot of fun.
Lunch at man fu yuan
Excellent service by Maggie, Joseph n chin chin
Very good recommendation for their Tim sum menu by Maggie. Prompt n efficient service by these 3 staff. First time here n best time here.. definitely I will come back
🟦 My hubby and myself attended our dearest nephew's wedding at the Grand Ballroom at InterContinental Singapore Bugis two years ago in 2022.
🟩 The wedding banquet, Chinese tea ceremony and other formalities were all very well-organised. ⬛️ At 10am plus, the tea ceremony started. The hotel staff were all very attentive and efficient during the tea ceremony process.
🟨 At approximately 12 noon, the Chinese full-course banquet started. The ballroom was beautifully decorated and looked chic and stylish. ✅️ Everything was in order. ❇️ The projector screen was working well & the array of banquet dishes were well paced throughout the entire wedding reception.
🔵 The banquet staff were all well trained- they were polite, efficient and attentive. All in all, I must say my nephew and his wife and families chose a wonderful hotel to hold their wedding banquet in.
🔶️ I am writing this review to share my experiences on the wedding banquet day at this hotel. 🩵 For such a lovely experience, I give 5 stars to InterContinental Singapore for the awesome hospitality bestowed on the wedding couple, their relatives & the guests.
Rene and Shirley are very attentive towards our dinning needs and gave good recommendations on the dishes for our lunch.
We enjoyed their utmost service to us at the dinning table.
Excellent location!
Room is slightly outdated, the intercontinental at Robertson quay is newer with a built in water fountain which is useful but this one doesn't.
When I entered the room, the mini fridge had a leftover water bottle (half bottle) and some chocolate from the previous occupant. A few stains on the tea bags (not sure how it got on the outside of the packaing).
The service is still pretty quick and friendly.
The sound proof wasn't good, I kept hearing baby crying next door.
There are not enough superlatives to express how impressed we were with our 4 night stay at the Intercontinental Singapore.
We arrived in the evening at around 7pm and after a smooth check-in we were whisked up to the lounge on level 2 for cocktails and some light snacks. Our luggage was delivered to our room while we enjoyed some refreshments.
The staff in the lounge were very friendly and attentive with a drink refill or some food never far away. We must make special mention of staff member "Ronnie" who was particularly helpful with restaurant and bar recommendations depending on what we wanted. While you have an expectation that hotel staff will look after you, Ronnie went that extra mile to make sure we were ok and nothing ever felt like too much effort.
Our booking was a King Juinor Suite with lounge access. The room was very spacious with a lounge area and a large comfortable bed. The room was very clean and maintained to a very high standard. A turn down service was provided which was a nice little extra.
Our stay package included full breakfast, which was a combination of an alacarte menu and continental food items like breakfast cereal, toast, yoghurt, pastries, and fresh fruit. The Belgian waffles were delicious. Some items on the breakfast menu rotated around with spicy laksa available on 2 mornings.
Every afternoon a high tea was provided in the lounge with tea/coffee and various sandwiches, savoury and sweet pastries and cakes. The items on offer were never the same on each day.
As mentioned earlier happy hour drinks and hors d'oeuvres were available in the level 2 lounge between 6pm and 8pm. As with all other food offerings each day the menu changed.
The hotel is located very close to Raffles and Chijmes (with both being no more than a 5 minute walk on Middle Rd) and the Bugis junction shopping centre is attached to the hotel which can be accessed without stepping outside. This is particularly helpful when the inevitable rain comes. The Bugis MRT station is easy to get to from here also.
Other historical locations like Kampong Glam, Little India, Marina Bay and Orchard Rd are close by.
The property certainly lives up to its 5 star rating offering many memorable experiences. A must do if you stay over a weekend is the heritage trail tour. This fully guided 2 hour tour on Saturday afternoons takes in many significant cultural locations and gives you a greater understanding of the unique makeup of Singapore. Our guide Cathy was a real character and made the tour very entertaining and worth every minute.
As is very apparent from the glowing review we cannot recommend this property highly enough. While it is luxurious and indulgent we felt it was worth every cent.
This hotel is beautiful and in a wonderful location in Singapore. The staff was always friendly and attentive. We walked everywhere from the central location of the hotel. Our room was a king room and we were upgraded to a higher floor room due to having platinum status (or so we were told). I don't know how much of an upgrade this was. The room was very clean and the bedding was very soft. The mattress was too firm but I'm finding that all the Intercontinental hotels we've stayed in have very firm mattresses (too firm for us). Overall, our stay was wonderful and I'm sad we were only there for 2 nights. I look forward to going back to Singapore and staying at this hotel.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at InterContinental Singapore after several years, and it was an overall delightful experience, largely thanks to the excellent service at Club InterContinental.
Kamlesh took great care of me every day, greeting me each morning with a warm, genuine smile. His breakfast recommendations were always spot on, and he handled every guest with professionalism and grace.
Tony and Athirah were also incredibly cheerful and attentive, always checking in to see if I wanted more food or drinks, and they cleared plates with ninja-like speed!
The staff's kindness, warmth, and attention to detail were truly exceptional.
The breakfast at Club InterContinental was another highlight. My personal favorites were the Caviar Eggs Benedict and the Prawn Wonton Noodles, and I loved trying the daily rotating local specialties.
A heartfelt thank you to all the Club InterContinental staff for making my stay so memorable. Because of all of you, I look forward to returning!
Great location, nice breakfast, room is in classic style.
The only thing for me to complain is the slow services, maybe due to under staffing?
In my 2 nights stay, I requested for ice 3 times. The first time, around 10 pm Friday night, it took me 20 minutes and realized the ice bucket was not delivered and called the service line again. After the agent confirmed my request for the second time, the ice came 10 mins later— meaning you need to wait for 30 minutes before you can get the ice.
The second time, I requested ice at day time, it took 20 minutes.
The third time, around 1 am, this time it is within reasonable waiting time— it took 10 mins for the ice to be delivered.
This is a tiny issue of the whole wonderful experience. But I do expected a more prompt services for a hotel like this one.
LUCE Restaurant was amazing. Head Chef Lucas took me on a tour of the buffet tantalising my tastebuds with stories about the foods origins and which specials I should indulge myself. Amazing service by the handsome Head Chef Lucas. Thank you it was memorable.
Our wedding banquet here was perfect. Our guests (both locals and internationals) were very satisfied with the quality of the food which also came in generous portions. Service was on point. Stefanie Heng was the main coordinator for our wedding and has been very patient and organized in handling our requests.
The only other feedback we had was we would have wished the tv in the room was more user friendly. The apple screen mirroring didn’t work well and disconnect from time to time. A smart tv would have been better with Netflix offerings etc.
This is my fifth Stay at Intercontinental. Excellent location. Stayed for 3 days this time. Good customer service and the house keeper called Zhu Qing was lovely.
Had dinner in their Chinese restaurant and the food was delicious!
The waiters called Sam, Chin Chin, Maggie and chef Cheong were fantastic. Very welcoming!
Wonderful dining experience, food is great and service is excellent. Price is reasonable considered the quality of food served. A big thank you to Sam, chin chin, Maggie and Anson.
What a wonderful stay. We were there for 4 days and it was absolutely top notch. Amazing service at Executive Club Lounge. The only gripe is the food could be better. Larger range of local options for evening instead pf Western style. Everything else they did was incredible and made my time there easy. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else :)
I always like my experience with Intercontinental, their service never lets you down, just like this one in Singapore Bugis. Due to its consistent service and convenient location, I stayed there for ten days. This hotel is within a huge shopping center. I enjoyed a variety of shopping and food choices within walking distance (all indoors). On Mid autumn Festival day, I was even offered two free tasty moon cakes!!
Also, big shoutout to Lu Mei, the room service lady! She helped keep my room clean and tidy everyday, and keep me hydrated 😊. Every time once I walked in and saw the curtains wide open with sunshine all over the room, I feel lifted immediately. All thanks to you Lu Mei!
I would definitely come back if I visit Singapore again in the future!
Had a room with Club Intercontinental access. The food and drinks there was brilliant especially the chicken served during their evening cocktail, from 6pm to 8pm. Would recommend!
Thank you Chin Chin, Maggie and Shirley for their good service at Man Fu Yuan. Due to some unforeseen circumstances. We are not able to have our lunch on time , but they are very patience and wait for almost 1 hr to serve. Serving with a Smile. Greatly appreciated.
Really great food at Man Fu Yuan tonight! Thanks Moon, Joanne & Rene for the wonderful service tonight! Appreciate it!
Had dinner at Man Fu Yuan - Rene and moon’s service were great. They recommended great food and their service along with it made the dinner with my mum a very good experience. Highly recommend the soup with whole winter melon!! Foie gras with the crispy duck skin is also a must have… 🙏🏻
Rene, Moon and Sam provided fascinating services. We had a very pleasant dining experience here.
The Intercontinental Hotel has amazing food! The afternoon tea has lots of yummy choices, like yummy chocolate and tasty pastries.
The staff is friendly and really helpful, making every meal enjoyable. It’s a great place to eat! Big thanks to Anna, Zin, Lanny, Athira, Ronie, Kyu, and Jean
Man Fu Yuan food is excellent. Good service by Sam, Chin Chin and Shirley. Pleasant experience.
Dining at Man Fu Yuan is pleasant as staff Anson, Chin Chin & Maggie is friendly and efficient and the food being served is of good quality and delicious. With an added bonus of a 15% discount everyday
The location of this ICS is simply great. So convenient to go anywhere and also have a local culture coffee and food court close by. Hotel staffs are nice specially the manager Suresh is very helpful. He was making sure i felt like to be home at ICS. Thank you.
Mr Kamlesh from the Club Lounge is an absolute delight. He is always smiling and brings laughter and joy whenever he comes to our table. You must look out for this charming guy.
Mrs Mei Moore
Excellent service from hotel staff, especially at the club lounge. Special thank you to Anna who has made our stay extremely enjoyable and memorable. Your efforts are highly appreciated!
Excellent hotel. Nice food, nice rooms and magnificent service. Tom from service room was very kind and thoughtful during my stay. 10/10
Lunch Mu Fu Yuan is an excellent experience. Chef Cheong made the quantum improvement to food quality. Waitness Chin Chin delivering exceptional service, every time, every guest with smiles, passion, and a personal touch!"
Been receiving great service from Chin Chin from Man Fu Yuan. Always attentive and serve with a smile. She always recommends me foods with good quality and nice mixture. Highly recommended to look for her and try out the Chinese Restaurant.
Incredibly grateful for the impeccable service by Chin Chin and Moon at Man Fu Yuan!
Thank you for being very accommodating and recommending us the signature dishes as well as suggesting appropriate portions for us! Truly deserving of 5 stars!
Also enjoyed some delicious and aesthetic food prepared by Chef Cheong and team!
Rene , Joseph and Moon of 满福苑 provided exceptional service during my dining experience. The Irish Duck and Ee-fu Mian tasted amazing! 10/10 would reccomend.
Man Fu Yuan waitress, Chin Chin was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. The waitress was efficient and kept our drinks filled without interrupting our conversation.
Our 3D2N stay at Intercontinental hotel was an extraordinary experience , we will especially like to give a shout out to wen fei for his great hospitality and service.
Dinner at Man Fu with my wife on 23 July. Yummy meal and excellent service . We were served by Chin Chin, Xiao Ni, Sam & Joanne. Highly recommend and will definitely come back to enjoy the food.
anson, chinchin and chef aaron were really nice! chinchin constantly topped up our tea and she was really polite :) the food was really yummy and service was amazing! Cake was too yummy 🥰🥰🥰 chef aaron also came out to serve the ribs yay
Great atmosphere. Friendly staffs especially Shirley awesome n sweet lady. Food were great n delicious credit to Chef Aaron. Keep it up.
The good:
- Prompt, friendly and hardworking staff encountered at every occasion without exception.
- Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
- Every meal eaten in-house was excellent. Special mention to the high standard of food delivered by room-service.
- Well equipped and spacious gym.
- Very good location, with direct connection to a modern shopping centre.
The bad:
- The lobby bar was closed for a private function, this was especially disappointing after a long day of meetings and wanting to have tea and cake with my family in the luxurious surroundings of the hotel.
The ugly:
- The sauna facility is completely let go to the point it should be shut down immediately and refurbished. The sauna failed to reach a warm temperature and the control panel was broken.
- The gym is rented to out of house providers to service non-hotel guests. There is no warning or timetable provided to guests when this occurs.
- Unstocked minibar. Simply not good enough for a 5 star hotel.
Overall a satisfactory hotel, but given the negatives in future I will take my custom elsewhere.
Staff Joanne ,Moon & Rene service is excellent.. helpful & v efficient always serve with a smile making us v welcome n comfortable 👍👍 keep u the good work!!!!
Upgraded with extra payment. Checked out at 12:30 and left luggage. Came back for showering at the gym. Bell boy Jeff was very helpful. Convenience shopping centre.
Our wedding was hosted at Intercontinental Singapore @ Bugis, where Stefanie and Fiona served as our hotel and banquet managers, respectively. Initially apprehensive about potential hiccups during the banquet, we were pleasantly surprised by their exceptional efficiency and attention to detail, ensuring a seamlessly run event. We would also like to give special thanks to Stefanie for her patience in addressing all our queries and ensuring our special day was executed flawlessly. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, praising both the venue and the high quality of food provided.
I had a wonderful lunch at Man Fu Yuan. Thank you Anson, Maggie and Shirley for the hospitality and birthday surprise cake for my Mum! The food was wonderful.
I normally don’t take the time to write reviews for hotel stays but I felt compelled to after my wife and I’s 3-night stay at the Intercontinental. Everyone on the staff, from the reception desk attendants, the concierge, the room service, to the waiters were so friendly and accommodating.
We were upgraded to a beautiful suite when we arrived, and decided to thank the hotel by partaking in their afternoon High Tea in their beautiful “Lobby Lounge” which we reserved last minute (thanks to the fantastic concierge!). The presentation of the savory food and pastries were as good as they were delicious, and well worth the price.
The Hotel is also very well located to the touristic sites we wanted to see and visit and we were able to walk almost everywhere.
I can’t thank the staff at the hotel enough and will be sure to stay there again our next time to Singapore.
We stayed at the Intercontinental Singapore for 3 nights. I initially made the reservation for 3 adults, which included an additional 100SGD per night charge for the 3rd adult. Upon arrival, I was told I need to pay an additional 165SGD per night for an extra bed for the 3rd adult, since the original 100SGD additional charge does not cover the extra bed! I was then offered an upgrade to Junior suite with club access for 200SGD per night, which would also include an additional bed for the 3rd adult. Being tired from a long flight, I did not argue much and accepted the 200SGD per night upgrade to club access since it seemed to offer much more value than just paying an additional 165SGD per night for an extra bed.
Later as I investigated the hotel website, I found the information regarding extra bed wherein it was mentioned an additional bed would cost 100SGD per night (which was already included in the original reservation that I made), and no additional charges are applicable on top of that. After taking this up to the hotel staff, they reduced the 200SGD nightly upgrade fee to 100SGD. This whole incident made me feel I was misled into paying an additional fee for an upgrade, even though I had made the correct reservation to begin with. Keep in mind that I have Platinum Elite status, and the least the hotel staff could have done for their misinformation was offer a free upgrade, since it is anyway one of the Platinum Elite perks.
Overall, I ended up paying a total of 300SGD for the club access for the 3 nights that I stayed, which I did not feel was worth it. Since we checked in late, we only had about 10 minutes of club access on the first night for the cocktail hour, One of our guests was denied club entry because of wearing open toe sandals, but I felt the policy was loosely enforced since some other guests inside the club were wearing open toe sandals!
The room itself was good, though the front door had a big gap at the bottom, leading to outside noise coming in. I really enjoyed the breakfast spread, which had a good mix of local and global delicacies.
Overall, it could have been a decent stay if not for the price misleading. While I was thanked for being a Platinum Elite member during checkin, I was certainly not made to feel like one.
Waiter Chin Chin, Chef Aaron. The services and food are fantastic. Tried the 6 course meal. Would come back fir their Timsum buffet.
Chin Chin 千千 service has been exceptional. You're so attentive and kind, which really made our dining experience in Man Fu Yuan 满福苑so enjoyable. Great job for all the staff in Man Fu Yuan.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Intercontinental Singapore, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience largely due to the exceptional service provided by one of their employees. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Club Lounge Anna, Ronnie, Gaofei, Kim and Lobby Lounge Dora, Noel, Fael, John for going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests truly set them apart. From the warm welcome at check-in to the personalized recommendations for dining and attractions in the area, Ms Anna made me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. Intercontinental Singapore is fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented individual on their team. Thank you, Anna, for making my stay truly special. I look forward to returning soon!
Jing Bao was excellent! My room was always clean, fully stocked and a pleasure to return to. Thanks!
Great service presented by waiters and waitresses when dining at Man Fu Yuan Chinese Restaurant, namely by Maggie, Joanne and Xiao Ni. Food was decent, would definitely come again with the pleasant experience my family and I had!!
Excellent location in Singapore. Lovely service—very helpful with directions and I found the doormen extra kind and ready to help. Asked for a later checkout and it was no problem. Room spotless and comfortable. I had to work a couple of days—only drawback—drilling seemed to be happening on the two days I needed to work across the hallway. Maybe they should not have booked rooms directly across and next to the room they were working on. Room service excellent. Overall, a really comfortable place to stay in Singapore.
My family are really amazed and thrilled by
Maggie yong, chin chin and xiaoni heartwarming hospitality in man fu yuan.
They makes us feel like home and we will definitely come back for more.
Cheers with 2 thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻
Dinner at Man Fu Yuan
Served by Miss Chin Chin & Sam
Special mention @Chin Chin - She is so attentive and made my meal so enjoyable
She took her initiative to made sure I enjoy my meal
It is my 2nd time booking Intercontinental Hotel and I always book the club lounge access as everytime we go, it always has some special occassion. The staff from the hotel specially at the club lounge area, they have a different attitude when it comes to caucasians and to those dressed up as "very rich". We are a typical Asian family with kids and we do not dress up to impress. We are just there to enjoy the short vacation that we booked away from our busy schedules. The club lounge staff, I am not sure if they are trained that way gives us everytime a judgemental feeling and treatment. It is just so obvious that normally this type of thing I will just brush it off but it happened on both our stays and I decided to write a review. I love the location of the hotel, the room the pool. But my experience with club lounge people made it so horrible not only to me but to my family that we decided not to go back to this hotel anymore. We have tried other hotels that has this club lounge access that the staff are way more friendly and nice. And that makes you feel that you deserve everything that the club lounge has to offer and that they treat everyone fairly and happily. Totally the opposite of intercontinental hotel club lounge. We have paid for the room and club lounge access and yet we are treated like we look like we cannot afford such service. Very disappointing indeed.
Decor is old fashioned and the place therefore has an exquisite feel. Lighting was low so not photo friendly.
I was there for vegan high tea with my nieces. Loved the spread and wish for more variety in future that's child- friendly. This would mean replacing the herbal and some sour items that may be a bit over the top for most children.
It was my niece's first time experience with high tea. Upon request the staff provided a refreshing mocktail to end the course. It was a thoughtful gesture I thought.
What would have been even better is for staff to introduce the food to us as they do for all other places with high tea I've been to. Here we just had to make reference to the menu.
Also with an international staff comes the language barriers so better competency in the English language would be an asset. One of the staff who looked Chinese or Korean could not communicate as well and was not very attentive.
The cutlery was dinner ware, not for afternoon tea.
But on the whole worth a try if you like history. It felt a bit like Dubai.
I consistently have a delightful experience at this hotel. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, the rooms are both spacious and impeccably clean, and the hotel's location facilitates easy movement throughout Singapore. It undeniably offers a 5-star experience at an affordable price point. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Held my wedding at The Intercontinental at The Library venue in December 2023. The venue was intimate and lovely for a small wedding of 40 pax. The food was the usual Chinese banquet style food and was good and also served warm. Ester and Stephanie, the wedding venue team were extremely helpful and responsive on the wedding venue preparations. On the actual wedding
day, the banquet manager, Mugilan, and his service crew ensured everything went smoothly and the wedding guests had a good experience. Would definitely recommend this location for couple who prefer intimate weddings
Rene , xiao ni , joseph and moon great service and good recommendation on dishes.
Lunch at Man Fu Yuan. Very satisfactory meal and service is superb. Chin Chin, Maggie, Shirley.
located centrally with the warmest, more helpful staff. i got the Classic Heritage Wing room and it was spacious enough for two (and maybe a small one if you had one).
i loved the design. it included a tub, a shower and had an extremely comfy bed. nothing more i could ask for, really!
Transferred to the hotel at no extra cost and couldn't complain.
As expected fantastic room, central location and great staff.
Staff within the restaurant so accommodating to our son, especially when they recognised he was tired.
Pleasant and enjoyable stay over the Christmas, New year period.
Booked the stay for my birthday staycation. Thanks to Intercontinental for sending me sweet cake and accommodated to all my room requests. Staffs met are all friendly and helpful. Very convenient location access to malls, mrt and food options. Love the yummy breakfast buffet with varieties that suits all. Will definitely be back again if there's promotion again.
The journey from check-in to checkout at Hotel Intercontinental was outstanding, especially thanks to the attentive care of Azfar, Zin, and Lionel from Club Intercontinental. They were always there, ensuring every detail and order were taken care of impeccably.
Not to mention the rooms were amazingly clean and the location which was right in central Singapore added to the convenience.
The hotel is located at a very nice spot and hopefully people would like to come in for the restaurant but the quality of food and service needs lot of improvement. At breakfast the purser at the breads counter refused to serve honey, at the eggs counter the fried egg was drenched in water (???) and the sambhar had chickpeas in it... obviously they mixed the chole from previous evening to the remains of sambhar from the previous morning or even earlier... at room service the pizza served was squishy and the pasta was tasteless and flavorless.
No complaints at all and better value than some other ‘high end’ hotels in the area. The staff were almost entirely of a very high standard. The club room is ideal for an evening drink but can be a little noisy with young children. Breakfast and afternoon tea excellent.
Great room, cleanness, service and facility. Nearby is very convenient. Transportation to customer places is good too. Grab app said that there is no waiting but the lobby is big enough and waiting for grab doesn't have any problem.
The check-in went smoothly and this continued throughout the entire stay. Our suite was very spacious, the bathroom had all the amenities you need. It was the most comfortable bed we experienced during our trip to Asia, incredibly great pillows. If you don't like this, there is also a pillow menu. We were able to enjoy breakfast in the Club Lounge, it was very tasty every morning, the eggs Benedict was a poem. The staff in the lounge was very attentive and fulfilled every wish. We were in the Luce restaurant one evening, where we were treated to great service and an excellent menu. Even if I had looked for a fault, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have found one.|The entire staff from reception to the cleaners to the manager were always attentive and friendly, you feel valued as a guest.|We are very happy come again.
The room was clean and the interruptions were timely. There is no dust and the replacement items are clean. The sound insulation effect is good, and there is no noise in the room near the window. The hotel buffet is also good with rich variety. The pool and gym are great.
I had a very good impression when I stayed there quite a while ago, so I decided to stay there again.
I previously stayed at Club Rule, but this time I booked a regular room. I could see a little bit of Marina Bay Sands through the gap.
The staff provided good customer service and made me feel at ease.
However, this time there were some disappointing aspects.
When I entered the room, I found that the cleaning rag was still on the table, and there was a greasy stain on the window that could be wiped off.
The refrigerator in one of the two rooms I booked (1123) was making a high-pitched noise that gave me a headache. My parents couldn't hear the refrigerator, so they stayed in that room and I stayed in the other room.
However, even when I turned off the air conditioner, it was still cold and I didn't feel like I could really relax in the room.
When I went for breakfast around 8:30, it was a busy time, so I couldn't help it, but there was a long waiting line in the hallway in front of the restaurant.
I asked for an omelet, but she cheerfully replied that it would take some time to make the fried eggs (not in a negative way), and I regret that I should have gotten up early before it got crowded. .
The Indian curry was very delicious.
The location is perfect, so it's convenient for buying souvenirs and getting around.
I might choose a different hotel next time I go to Singapore.
Last Thursday I had dinner with my family at Man Fook Court to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere here is great and the staff are friendly. I particularly like Chef Aaron’s raw rice. Thanks to Phillip, Sam and Chin Chin for their warm service, attentiveness and their special recommendations, my family and I had a happy birthday dinner. Will recommend friends to visit again.
Conveniently located near Bugis Station.
2 stops to get to Marina Bay Sands.
The staff's response was also polite and good.
The fitness center smells like sweat. It seemed like it hadn't been properly sterilized for a long time and it smelled so bad that it gave me a headache. When I complained, they managed to take care of it, but perhaps because it hadn't been disinfected for too long, they weren't able to completely eliminate the odor. Maybe the carpet will have to be changed too. . . Also, the machines are minimal. ||The staff are all kind and helpful, but if you are interested in the gym, we recommend a different hotel. Other than this, the hotel is clean and the service is good.
Went for afternoon tea. There was a bit of a wait as the food was made after the order was placed, but the lobster sandwiches were delicious! |Heritage High Tea has Singaporean sweets and champagne, so you can really enjoy it!
Top-run hotel, very friendly staff (especially Jenny from the breakfast restaurant). An IC of the best in the world. This is the second time here and also ideal for short stays. The rooms are very well maintained, modern and 1a clean.
Not only is the location good, but the service is also great. |Also, since Raffles Hotel is nearby, you can enjoy the world-famous cocktail ``Singapore Sling'' and Chinese. |There are several newly opened bars nearby that are listed in the world rankings, and if you know where they are, you can enjoy world-class service. ||If you didn't know, it's a regular Intercontinental hotel, but the concierge knows and will tell you. |Singapore🇸🇬The whole of Singapore is a financial city that is constantly changing and pushing forward with new things without hesitation, but the area where this hotel is located is also wonderful, with a breath of newness amidst the old cityscape. ||The swimming pool is also nice.
Very good hotel in the middle of the city.
Upgraded to a Junior Suite as a Diamond Ambassador.
Excellent service from everyone, whether at the reception, in the restaurant or from housekeeping.
Breakfast and lobby lounge restaurant very good.
The room (602) is large, furnished to a high standard, very dignified.
All in all, an excellent city hotel that we will come back to.
This time I chose this hotel under the IHG Intercontinental Group in Singapore. The location is very advantageous, close to the city center and with convenient transportation. |Service: The front desk service is attentive, responsive, and the check-in process is smooth. |Guest room: The room is spacious, with good lighting, warm decoration, comfortable bedding, and a good night's sleep. Special thanks to room attendant lumei. The room was cleaned quickly and clean, and the attitude and service were very attentive and friendly. |Catering: Breakfast is rich in variety, fresh and delicious, meeting the needs of various tastes. |Environment: The public areas are clean and tidy, with elegant decoration, creating a comfortable and leisure atmosphere. |The overall experience exceeds expectations and the price/performance ratio is extremely high. It is an ideal choice for business travel or leisure vacation. Highly recommended, looking forward to coming again next time!
InterContinental Singapore pays great attention to detail when it comes to service. Hai Long, the staff member responsible for my room, performed exceptionally well. His service was attentive and meticulous, meeting all my requests while anticipating additional needs I might have. The overall experience was excellent and highly commendable.
The hotel’s location is excellent, situated in the Bugis area in the heart of Singapore. It is directly connected to Bugis MRT station and Bugis Junction shopping mall, making it easily accessible on foot. Transportation, dining, and shopping are very convenient. For travelers who need to take the MRT frequently or explore the city on foot, this location is extremely convenient.
I chose this Hotel as part of my Birthday Celebration, and my Celebration started perfectly, thanks to the staff of the InterContinental Singapore. This was from checking into the Hotel until I checked out six days later.
The building is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff recognised my Status with IHG and thanked me for being a member. I was offered something to drink and a cool towel for my hands. The Executive Lounge is beautiful, and the food and service, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktail, were of a high standard.
I enjoyed the Champagne Brunch at LUCE by David Giacomelli. The level of service was present in every area of the Hotel. I also enjoyed breakfast in the Breakfast Room.
I will return to the InterContinental, Singapore.
These staff members went the extra mile to make my stay wonderful.
Executive Lounge:- Aisyah, Zin, Josiah, Chayi, Kim.
The Breakfast Room:- Megh, Denise
Housekeeping:- Chun Xia
Rene and Joseph services are great. Dishes are delicious
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Intercontinental Singapore, and it was a memorable experience from start to finish. This iconic hotel nestled in the heart of Singapore truly lives up to its reputation for excellence in hospitality, offering a perfect blend of opulence, comfort, and top-notch service, due in part to the new butler service being offered at Intercontinental Singapore. Before my arrival, I was in correspondence with Shirish, the head butler who wanted to know my arrival time and dietary needs. Upon touching down, he arranged a car to pick me up and also had warm drink prepared for bedtime.
I was fortunate enough to stay in one of the suite rooms during my visit, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The suite is spacious, elegantly designed, and has a nice view of the of the Bugis area. The decor, turndown service and amenities are generous and made me feel a little like royalty. The plush bedding, which included pillow covers monogrammed with my initials and aromatherapy roll-ons and a mist spray, ensured a restful night's sleep.
Breakfast was at the Club Intercontinental Lounge, where in addition to choosing your main dish, there's also an array of fruit, salad, bread, cheese, cold cuts to choose from. The lounge staff were attentive and welcoming, always ready to assist with any request (especially coffee refills!) and Shirish the head butler popped by to say good morning, enquire about your day and help to arrange transport to wherever you wish to go. Evening cocktails and canapés are also provided at the lounge at specific hours but due to my schedule, did not make it. The lounge also provides a peaceful atmosphere to work or unwind.
But for a change of pace, the Lobby Lounge of the hotel is quite cosy and inviting with a full and modern bar that serves as the perfect backdrop for relaxation and socialising. Although quite a few tables were enjoying bottles of wine, I was told that they do have a nice cocktail menu too. A food menu with local and international cuisine is available if you're hungry – highly recommend the salmon dish and fresh oysters to seafood fans.
Overall, what made stay truly memorable is the warmth of the Intercontinental staff. Whether it was the cleaning staff who put thoughtful touches in my suite or the staff at both club and lobby lounges, everyone was just so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Notably, Shirish, who made my arrival so convenient, woke me up for breakfast, arranged my transport around the city and helped me get to places on time, really made me feel well taken care of in Singapore, and as a business traveller this a great value-add.
stay for business trip. find hotel too old, there were ants in the washing basin and after informing the staff, next day still find ants around. the shower head is old type and cannot be adjusted. will not recommend
