M. P.Hotel itself is very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Downside is the rooms are very small. No where to put 2 suitcases and we were expecting a "superior" room, as stated on our invoice the rooms are far from "superior". I definitely wouldn't stay here again. Have stayed in Mercure hotels before and found their rooms much bigger..

H.I recently stayed at Mercure Singapore on Stevens, and while the property itself is pleasant and the staff generally helpful, my experience was unfortunately marred by serious issues with their property management system (PMS).
Check-in was unusually slow, with the staff appearing to struggle with the system. It was clear that the PMS was either outdated or prone to glitches, as I encountered delays in accessing my room and inconsistent updates regarding my reservation. At one point, there was confusion about my booking details, which caused unnecessary frustration.
Additionally, during my stay, I noticed similar problems affecting other guests, such as difficulties with billing and room access. These technical issues detract from what should be a seamless experience, especially for a reputable brand like Mercure.
While the team tried their best to assist, it was evident that they were working around system shortcomings rather than solving the root problem. I strongly urge the management to prioritize upgrading or fixing the PMS to improve overall guest satisfaction.
Until these issues are resolved, I would hesitate to recommend the property to those expecting a smooth and hassle-free stay.

Breakfast -- The buffet breakfast @Food Xchange is amazing!
There's this pastry & noodle station run by Suzanah who is very sweet and friendly! I feel so happy eating breakfast beside the pool! Plus I love the real honeycomb! I put that in my yoghurt. as well and also various types of European breads to choose from!

Room -- Our room faces the pool, it's so pretty!
The rooms and toilet are a little smallish. It's amazing how they manage to put so many rooms into one building!
Service ... Staff are very friendly and helpful. Kudos to Jason from front desk and team for the smooth check out.
Amenities-- Great gym! I love the size and the equipment, very new, very clean with nice greenery outside to look at.
Location -- there are 4 bus services right outside the property to take you to town. It's a little out of the way, 2 bus stops from Stevens MRT if you don't mind a little ride.

I nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff.
It is a bit out of the way from the main city.
The breakfast is really good here and had plenty of options from local food, Indian and the traditional English breakfast.
We took a taxi to the Marina Bay Sands which cost S$28 but only cost S$18 on the return. It is worth downloading the Zig taxi app it just like the Uber app as they don’t have Ubers here. All the taxis take credit cards also.

Sofia is an absolute gem—her warmth, courteous demeanor, and attention to detail make us feel so at home every time we visit.
The breakfast offerings are delightful, with a wide range of delicious options to start the day. The fitness center is another highlight—it’s spacious and fully equipped with everything you need for a great workout.

F. H.I had a pleasant 2 nights stay at Mercure on Stevens, I just want to give a shoutout to Charmaine at the Accor lounge who provided impeccable service and she was honestly so kind. Thank you and we will definitely come back again!
i. h.My family and I stayed at Mercure on Stevens. It was very pleasant because we were assisted by friendly staff. And the location is very strategic, close to Orchard Road, and there is a Steven MRT, and not far from the hotel there is a bus stop. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Orchard and Steven MRT. To go to Orchard Road, you can use the hotel shuttle bus or take a bus at the bus stop in front of the hotel (only a few stops to get there). In the hotel area itself, there is also a 7-11 that is open 24 hours. The hotel facilities that are no less interesting are the infinity pool, gym, and open area, and there is a laundrette / self laundry. for breakfast is quite good. and there is a lounge to relax for a moment. I will definitely come back here when I go to Singapore.

P. W.Tourist hotel that takes large tour groups and is often booked out, which means it gets so busy that it affects service quality. Hotel only a few years old but already a bit tired and worn. Standard rooms are tiny so be sure to book a suite if you can.
S. R.Good hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is good with a large variety for diverse cultures. The rooms are just a little small - even for just a couple.
K. S.Location: Located in quiet residential area, separated from the hustle and bustle of the city but still accessible. If you're heading south, you can use the bus stop at the front of the hotel (Novotel Mercure @ Stevens). If you're heading home from south, it's better to take the MRT to the Stevens station, then use the "Bef Stevens Stn Exit 2" bus stop to ride the bus towards the hotel. If you don't use the MRT and only used the bus to go home, you might end up on the other side of the road and have to either go down at the "Aft Draycott Pk" bus stop which is a bit of a walk, or go down the "Chelsea Gdns Condo" which means you'll have to take an overpass.
Facilities are great. The housekeeping are very friendly and will give you way more tissue and other bathroom necessities than you asked for (took home 2 boxes of tissues AND another 2 rolls 😂). But they will be a bit concerned when they notice that you have the "still sleeping/do not disturb" sign for consecutive days, so if you can hand them your trash before you go out for the day, better to do so.
Receptionists are also very friendly. Most of the visitors are businessmen that are dressed VERY WELL, but they treat everyone equally. When we checked out, the manager made sure to ask us if we had a pleasant stay or if we had any concerns.
I still prefer "ibis Singapore on Bencoolen" since it's more accessible and is near everything, but Mercure Singapore On Stevens will always be an option whenever I go back.

However, I have a current issue coz I left my black pants and sneakers with a customized insole due to my inability to walk properly and it’s important for me to have my sneakers back. I. A.Average hotel, the lobby is nice and renovated, the rooms seems to be renovated but they are way too small. I can say the hotel is good for short stays, 1 night tops, nothing more. The location is nice however
J. T.I dined at Winestone today. Ran into some issues with regard to parking matters & was not able to resolve e matter with a hotel’s front desk officer. I decided to speak with Kapilan (another front desk personnel) to explain my situation again. He was able to understand my situation with empathy and settled the issue within 1 minute. Am so grateful towards Kapilan for his intellectual flexibility and empathy.

A. W.This is an expansive property (combining both a Novotel and Mercure) located near Stevens MRT, with easy access to several bus lines. Orchard is a short bus ride or walk away, though the immediate vicinity of the hotel is mainly residential. Rooms are modern and well-appointed and functional, if on the slightly smaller side. Accor ALL status is well recognised through welcome drinks and amenities (currently a selection of fruit), room upgrades, early check-in and late check-out, and access to the Privilege Lounge, which serves breakfast and pre-dinner canapes. Sofia and the staff at the lounge deserve particular praise, as they are ever-welcoming and helpful. A new bar and cafe on the ground floor promises even more amenity, complementing the fitness centre, two pools, and self-service laundry (both rare in Singapore and a real life-saver for those staying a bit longer than usual). This is a great property, getting busier and better since the pandemic, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.
J. O.I moved hotels from the new Mercure ICON Singapore city hotel to Mercure on Stevens as the customer service for a loyal accor customer was absolutely terrible at Mercure ICON Singapore city hotel.
On arrival at Mercure on Stevens I was taken to the platinum lounge for check in, I found the staff in the platinum lounge excellent, specifically a lady called SOFIA, nothing was too much trouble for Sofia, she even assisted in finding a location to watch the rugby.
Thank you, Sofia you justified my decision to move hotels, The Mercure ICON could certainly do with someone of your proficiency and professional knowledge to improve their customer service

The hotel's standout features are its prime location and well-maintained facilities. The daily shuttle service to and from town, with various timings, is a convenient perk. The spacious pool and large gym also add to the overall positive experience.
However, during my recent stay, the check-in process was notably slow and could use improvement. I waited approximately 10 minutes in line and another 10 minutes for my check-in, which was a bit inconvenient.

Being a Accor Plus Silver Member, I was not given my free welcome drinks. Whether I get the free drink is not the main concern, but surprised that staff does not really care what benefits does a guest have upon checking-in. And I don't feel any difference a normal guest or Accor Plus member.
Staff also did not really bother whether who comes first, I have to tell one guest my self I am the next in the line when he cut Queue.
Morning staff serving breakfast is bad. We can live with no greetings & no smile, but when one of the staff basically just pointed at our plates without talking , implying she wanted to clear our plates, it was rude. When we said Thank u", totally no response from her.
J. L.Stayed here few times but last month's stay was the worst experience from check-in, service, and room.
Few people standing in the reception but only two persons attended for check-in, when my turn she asked if I have 2 reservations. I have received email that one reservation has been cancelled and strange enough that it was not showing in your system.
After checking in, I went to my room, and Mercure upgraded me to the privilege floor. The room was quite dirty (full of dust) underneath table and beds. When I checked the bed sheets, there were some stains, and I believe that is just an ink, so I did not make any fuss.
On the way going out, I would like to inform the front desk that I should not be charged for the stains (in some hotels they did charge after check out). Instead of listening to me, the staff asked me to check with the reception and is like 10 people queueing. I did not want to spend time for something that was not supposed to be there. I left and wrote an email to the hotel and, of course, no reply until today.
At night after coming back, I approached again the reception (after queueing for 5-10 mins) and this time the staff is quite friendly and asked if I would like to change and assure me that nothing will be charged.
The next morning, I found a lot of ants near the wardrobe. Before I could take picture, my mom has cleaned up everything.
On 2nd day no housekeeping came to clean (not sure how you choose which room to clean and which one is not).
And on my last day (check out day), housekeeping knock on my door (ard 9 am) to clean the room. I thought no housekeeping will be done on the day of check out?
I hope Mercure can do better otherwise less people will come to stay. Basic things that customer choose to stay in a hotel is service (friendly people) and cleanliness.
K. C.Late arrival, met with friendly welcoming staff. Room was delightful and happy with our Accor plus inclusions. Breakfast was amazing! Easy to get to MRT to get to our next destination. Wish we had stayed longer.
T. M.Checkin took pretty quick with 2 complimentary drinks by signing up as member . However things went really upset when the room electricity went down, electrician came to our room to fix after our 2nd call to the operator. Thereafter, Aircon and hair dryer went down on us in the room. Stains were found on the bedsheet and curtains. Not a very good experience but customer service were considerably good
T. M.The room you need to have an upgrade or the common student room with a little to shabby with narrow space to put luggage and not a proper area to host travellers stuff. There is no space for the baggage, but the upgrades room has a better design. He has a small table that you can possibly hose your luggage
T. M.The checkin was bad. I requested for a room near elevator but was given a room near to the end, it was so far from the elevator. End up I need to carry my duffel bag to the concierge and request for a change of room.Lastly, the cleanliness was not good. I saw a cockroach crawling on the buffet serving table, one of the staff quickly used his hand to squash the cockroach. Overall, the location is good. The last round I stayed in Novotel and it was a great experience.

Ordered room service and realised 20 mins or so into our meals that the dessert we received was not the mango cheesecake that we ordered but a raspberry white chocolate dome or something like that. No refund on the cheesecake was offered even though I would have said not to worry about it but the gesture would have been nice.

T. M.In Singapore such a global business hub, you really cannot expect a more comfortable place if your budget is within two hundred us dollars. It adjoins with another brand hotel under the same parental corporate. Outside the hotel a large patch of public lawn is available for cocktails and soft drink leisure.
T. M.The room had a very bad smell when I entered, I complained and housekeeping put a negative ion device in my room and told me to put it out in the corridor after 30 min. After I put device outside my room, went out for meeting, when I returned at 11pm, device was still outside of my room.

D.I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the only two slightly inconvenient pointers: 1-the rooms are quite small, 2- there is no shop the environment but a shuttle to the mall is available, and 3-the walls are quite thin, so bring earplugs if you need a vast rest. BUT the design of the pick up area and environment is so awesome! Also room service is a recommender, generous portions and delivered always much sooner than expected (recommended dishes are Singapore Laksi and Nasi Goreng Kampong (see picture))! A shuttle to the mall every half hour (excl. from 14:30 to 15:59).
B. P.Mercure Singapore on Stevens is located in a beautiful location and its surroundings are very peaceful. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the rooms were much smaller than I expected. Although comfortable, there may be a lack of space for long-term stays. Breakfast variety can be improved. Still, with its proximity to Orchard Road and cleanliness, it is a preferable hotel for short-term trips.

c. b.Disappointing for a Mercure, a lobby that is too small and invaded by the luggage of Tour operator tourists, very noisy, a tiny room with very random cleaning, a bare breakfast buffet before closing, unwelcoming staff except the doorman! The only plus is the magnificent swimming pool and we had to find it because there are 2! A little surprising to share the building with the Novotel even though it’s not the same range!

R. B.There's something comfortable about returning to the same hotel. I already know what to expect and it is just fine. The rooms are still small, yet cozy, soft sheets, hot shower, the amenities I need, I'm good. Easy to reach on public transport from the airport, just Google directions failed to include a bus for the last mile, no problem a local pointed that out, though actually I could have used that 20 minute walk. I'll be back!

Access to 2 pools (Lap pool & infinity pool) 24 hour laundromat at level 2.
P.The rooms are of course small, but that is probably due to the conditions in Singapore. But they are clean. The service in this hotel is good, the hotel staff is always approachable and competent. The location is a little out of the way, but still ok. There is a nice, clean swimming pool. Given the price for the night, I would actually have expected breakfast to be included.
