Reviews of YAJU HOTEL
I want to practice my Madarin so I kinda have a trip to Singapore to do both. The owner and staff here are Chinese, and they are quite nice. If you want to speak English, speak super slow, use gesture instead. You know madarin, use it.
This is budget hotel, literally. It has a good bed, besides, all is basic. I need a place to sleep well, take a shower, that was all because all my day I spending going around the city.
No laundry service. But a laundry shop is right down the road, few steps away where you can put coins in, around 7 dollar a time. But I kinda enjoy it, it feels like you are local for a couple of days.
Food around is good, try frog porridge, dimsum, Lor 9 Beef Kway Teow, Chinese cuisine around. Bus is nearby, took your just 1 corner turn, then you can go to kallang MRT, from there to any place else.
If you want relaxing vacation this is not the place, but you are here to explore Singapore, this is affordable and acceptable.
Our flight was delayed so arrived at 2:30am & with a 12 checkout didn’t really get to know the hotel. Service was plain but efficient. I guess how could it not be at 2:30am. The room was pretty small, tired & basic. Very overpriced for what you get, but that’s Singapore
It's a medium range hotel without any high tech facilities. Online or on-site both booking facilities are available, recommended to booking with an online travel app.
Check in time is at 3pm (local time) and check out time is at 12pm (local time). Luggage can be dropped out without any additional charges after the check out time.
The room and washroom are not too much bigger. But, it was well clean. Air conditioning system & free WiFi is available. But, internet speed is not up to mark.
Breakfast is not included in the hotel booking. Per day two bottles of water, coffee & tea packets are provided.
Body shower gel & shampoo and hair dryer are also presented in the washroom. Hot & cold both types of water are supplied all over the day.
It’s okay for so called budget hotel. It was clean, the room size was medium (not too small), had basic amenities. Near halal food, minimart, and bus stop.
The location is somewhat not so great area, though Singapore is safe but this area is know for all not for good reasons.||||Now, for the hotel- I wish pictures could do justice to the room. Not clean, you can see cobwebs in the room. Room is small, very basic and average. ||||Bathroom is small and you will wish not to take a bath there.||||The reception staff was friendly but rooms are not. ||||hotels in singapore are expensive, but basic hygiene and cleanliness is must.
Clean rooms and polite staff. Newly renovated so worth the stay
Stayed in 2017 here. Staff was nice. Place easy to find. Unfortunately the room smelled like mould when I checked in. Purchased an air freshener from the nearby supermarket and that did the trick.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are fine for a budget stay - not too shabby. Very close to shops and restaurants at Geylang Road. Convenient for shopping, esp at night
Not recommended for families
Very accommodating staff. Rooms are okay. Will stay here again next time we go to SG.
No breakfast included / no ref/ no soap / phone no dial tone/ we need to change another room but till no ref and soap. Little smelly on the bed
ok but location is not family friendly hotel is so so not so much good rooms are very small and little bit smoke smell every where

Its old building but cleanlines still ok and well maintained. All just basic, but all are ok
Rooms are quite nice n simple but the cost are too expensive:(

Nice place to stay
Good hotel
A cheap hotel for Singapore. The room is clean and there are no insects. I had a comfortable stay without any strange smells. There's no shower curtain, so the whole toilet gets drenched, but it's charming.
The hotel is quite clean, has a hot tub, and is close to the bus station, but it's a bit far from the MRT. The price is also reasonable, around 700,000 Rupiah per night.
Recommended for sleeping.
The bed, pillows, blankets are clean, soft, can sleep on, not itchy.||Room floor, TV ok, but the bathroom, you have to make peace with it before entering. We tried washing and scrubbing but nothing improved.||Just cleaner than when we came in. I dared to use the bathroom. And a bathtub||The hot water flows well. The wifi is really strong and clear. We got a place to stay for about 1300 baht per night from Agoda||It's considered good value for money. Traveling by using bus number 80, very convenient, passing through Bugis. St. Andrew's Church||Chinatown Vivo City....
I didn't like the hotel! At the first stage (booking), difficulties arose. The area is not very good, there are a lot of girls of easy virtue on the street. There were constant difficulties in communicating with staff. The hotel has not been renovated for 20 years. The rooms are small, there are no curtains in the bathroom. Entry cards often failed.
The room was clean, but it was a bit cramped.
They provided drinks, but only in glasses, not bottles.
The Wi-Fi was fast, the AC was fine, and the shower worked well. The receptionist spoke Malay. It was close to eateries and the bus stop.
The facilities in the room are average, not very clean, and it is relatively close to the subway. Accommodation in Singapore is too expensive, and only this area has a cheap price, and the price-performance ratio is okay, but it is average in all aspects.
The property is located 700 meters from the metro station and around 200 meters from the bus stop. The rooms are clean and the staff courteous. The surrounding area is lively until late in the evening.
Foreign tourists are rented rooms mainly on the top floor. The lower floors are rented by the hour to prostitutes, who line up every meter on both sides of the street in the evening. Returning to the hotel in the evening with a child was very unpleasant, since in addition to the girls there is also a crowd of riffraff hanging around. The rooms are small, but clean, there is even a kettle. It is suitable for a budget tourist for 4 days.
Located in hallway 12 Geylang||The bathroom is very narrow and ordinary. The air conditioner is a central model but looks old. For 830 thousand you can sleep three of us here.||Not suitable for families, because it is far from the MRT station, etc. close to the prostitution area in Singapore. WiFi area and no breakfast.||Around the hotel there are only Indian Muslim restaurants which are halal||And Chinese food which is questionable as halal.
The room is ok, the bathroom in the room is dirty plus when I went there the sink was clogged, the price is expensive, the hotel staff are friendly.||For women it is not recommended to go there alone because at night there are many women standing in front of the hotel to sell themselves..
Booked online at short notice for a transit stay, this hotel was probably the biggest letdown.||The location was actually quite OK, 15 minutes from the airport, with some good food options around it.||The inside of the hotel, however, is not even of the lowest standard, the closet door is broken , dirty carpet, mold,... I've never experienced anything like that.||The only thing that worked perfectly was the WiFi.||If you check into this hotel, it's your own fault, even the worst 8-bed dorm room is better.||And just because a hotel is cheap, it can at least be clean.||In the evening there are people walking on the street directly in front of the hotel, anyone who checks in here with their wife and/or children is crazy.||Conclusion: would be closed immediately in Germany due to hygiene deficiencies!
The hotel is quite small and old. However, you get what you pay for. Prices here are quite competitive. Going to the food court at gey lang is very close. Convenient to bus routes into downtown, not convenient to take the subway
Close to the bus, the service is cool, the employees are friendly and ready to help
Hotels in Singapore that are quite clean. And is a culinary area for Malay food and Chinese food.
Very nice service.
generally
Pretty comfortable
Suitable price
It's ok
At first, when I read the reviews, I thought it must be dirty. But once we get there, it's normal. It doesn't look dirty like I've read in reviews. We reserved a triple bedroom, 1 double bed and 1 single bed, but the double bed is quite narrow. If a person is 180cm+, it will not be comfortable to sleep. But the location of the accommodation is in a good location. There are no sales services in that area. Food around the accommodations is considered cheap in Singapore.
The hotel is located between Kallang and Aljunied MRT stations. From Aljunied station the hotel can be reached by bus 62, 63. The hotel is located in a fairly convenient location. The rooms are small, not new, but quite clean. Cleaned regularly. There is no refrigerator or safe in the room. The staff is very nice, ready to help with advice. Hot water without interruption. There is one caveat, the hotel is located on the so-called “red light street”! Although all the alleys here are a haven for girls of easy virtue and sometimes boys converted into girls, this hotel has a lot of them! True, for example, I didn’t notice any particular inconvenience; girls are not particularly clingy. If you don’t pay attention to them, then they won’t show much attention to you. In general, this is not a big problem ;)
The hotel is old, the bathroom is old, the TV is clear with only a few channels, the air conditioner is old, the price is affordable, the location is convenient, near the MRT, near tourist attractions and many restaurants, the staff provides good service, has good interpersonal skills, and is good at helping tourists.
