A nice dessert place located along Joo Chiat Place that sells yummy Gelato! There are a few chairs & tables outside but the weather is too hot so unless they do something if not is really waste of resources & also gives public an impression that they are not doing well as there is no crowd. We ordered one large cup with 3 flavors & a medium with cone that we can choose 2 flavors. All flavors are not too sweet so just nice for me who is not a sweet fan :-) Love the water melon & coconut flavors as there is no milk. Will be great if they introduce more non-diary based kind of Gelato.

Love this place. Small but really relaxed place with nice jazz music (at least then I visited). Limited flavours which is fine for me (quality over quantity). No cash / card payment, QR only (perfectly fine with me). Highly recommended!

Great ice cream. Had a small cone with Stracciatella and Pistachio. Less overwhelmingly sweet than most other ice cream shops, so the ice cream flavors could shine through. The waffle cone and waffle was very nice as well, with a bit of a sour tinge different from most common ice cream cones

Gave this place a try due to the great reviews, and was not disappointed! THE GELATO Other than the number of flavours to choose from, you may also choose the serving size (S/M/L). I had the M size, with Pistachio and Strawberry. There were whole pistachios in the former - soft and seemingly caramelised, while the latter had bits of strawberries. The gelato was served with a crispy biscuit that had a light butter taste which compliments it. What I like about the gelato: - Both flavours were deeply pronounced. - The texture was one of the smoothest / silkiest gelato I have ever had. - Affordable prices (especially for such wonderful gelato!) SEATING / DINE-IN There are 2 tables outside the shop. Thankfully when I visited, I managed to get seats to slowly savour the gelato. LOCATION The shop is located right next to the Joo Chiat Place Public Parking Lot, so give this place a try before leaving Joo Chiat! TLDR Strongly recommend this place. Will be back to try the other flavours.

Great hidden gem. Smooth and well balanced gelato. The texture is just nice, no ice bits and smooth and silky, just the way it should be. Small selection of flavours but i guess that means they really put in a lot of effort into these classics. Tried the strawberry sorbetto and pistachio gelato.

This gelato shop offers an experience of SIEW DAI for gelatos. Me and my wife were very impressed with the gelato consistency and light refreshing sweet taste. Definitely not ge-lat!!! MUST TRY. Today we tried the stracciatella (milk with dark choc) and sea salt caramel, tomorrow we will TRY MORE

Nice gelateria in Joo Chiat. Good gelato. They offer traditional Italian flavours (thankfully not too many flavours, hard to choose otherwise). We had vanilla, stracciatella, coffee, pistachio and coconut. All very good.

Great natural wholesome flavour Cendol was so yummy even with the red beans, the green strips and gula melaka! Bryan owner was v friendly! Will definitely support them more! It's the only gelato in the 500m radius in joo chiat, so please support them

Visit the shop at around 8pm and alot of the popular flavours were already sold out :( We ordered Raspberry, Stracciatella, Gianduja and Coffee Delight. All the flavours were pretty on point. For coffee lovers, I would definitely recommend trying the coffee delight. It has got a really strong coffee taste with a nice bittersweet aftertaste. There were some cocoa nibs mixed in that gave it a good crunch with every bite of the gelato. The raspberry was really tangy and refreshing. Stracciatella has got a strong milk flavour that was pleasing to the palette even if you're not a milk lover. The addition of dark chocolate bits help enhance the milk flavour and created a harmonious pairing. The Gianduja had a good flavour blend of chocolate and hazelnut, a combination that can never go wrong. Nothing "wow" and nothing unpleasant. An order that will never go wrong. Will definitely return again to give pistachio a try next time!

Love this small but welcoming Gelato place. The staff are so friendly and patient when you can’t choose a flavour. There’s not many flavours but they all sound so good, it’s hard to pick! I love the salted caramel and the strawberry sorbet is a divine non-dairy option, all that I have tried have been delicious. Price isn’t too expensive either, will be back :)

Outstanding, authentic gelato. Most importantly, it is not overly sweet! I think this is really one of the few places that serve gelato with my ideal sweetness level. Precisely because the sweetness was perfect, the true flavours shone through really well. I also appreciate that they allow us to choose 2 different flavours even for the smallest cup so that we can explore our options! The texture of the gelato was also very smooth and not icy at all. Will be frequenting this place to satiate my gelato cravings.

Eating there is always amazing because they stir the gelato and serve it at the best temperature so that it's smooth and soft. When you bring it back home it's harder to get that texture. But I love taking their baked goods home

Amazing gelato. Better than overpriced and fancy Birds of Paradise in this area. Flavours are very well balanced, not overly sweet. You can really taste the freshness of the gelato, so refreshing! Absolutely highly recommended!

Super nice cozy place.. chanced upon this when I went for wanton mee nearby and was surprised by the friendly staff + quality of the ice cream! Love them so much I ordered takeaway for my house party. Kids and adults all loved it! Esp the pistachio and strawberry flavors. Give their truffles a try too!

The only gelato in Singapore that purposely tries to make their ice cream less sweet. This way you can taste the actual flavors and not being overpowered by sugar. My new favorite!

Initially I was hesitant going in cos it was so quiet inside and seems not so inviting. However finally decided to give it a try and you guess right that it was best decision for the day. Tried sea salt caramel and chendol and both flavors just killed it

In a strongly competitive F&B scene, I leave a review for places that I want to see stick around for a long time. Canvas Gelateria has my vote! I tried the dark chocolate and pistachio flavours and it was lovely gelato. I’ve not tasted such quality pistachio ice cream/gelato for a long time so this was such a satisfying treat. There might be other well-known brands in the neighbourhood but I would humbly suggest giving them a miss and giving this place a chance instead. You won’t be disappointed.
