I have engaged Classic Furniture and Design to redo my 12-year old kitchen and 2 bathrooms and now I’m a happy owner of their beautiful works. I know Classic Furniture for many years as my family has used their service before and received great compliments with their quality products and professional services. So without searching much IDs, I went ahead to engage with Classic. Jasper is the designer for my renovation project. He listened carefully my requirements and understands my interest in culinary and the space constraints I had with my old kitchen and bathrooms. His professional expertise and experience in designing, colours and material selection aligns very much to my liking. During the project delivery, he and his team worked very closely with me. He has a “problem solving” mentality and so when there’s any unexpected circumstances arise, he coordinated with his team to get it resolved very quickly. He has a strong customer focus mindset. He followed up with me regularly during and also after the project has completed to ensure I’m satisfied with their products and services. So, now I’m a very proud owner of my beautiful kitchen and bathrooms.

Updated on 30 May 2024 : I highly recommend Classic! I recently encountered gas turn on issue & City gas said gas leak due to pipe n most cases contractor fault. Serene and her carpenter attended the rectification work done today. Cause was gas Head faulty! Not the pipe. Thank you Serene and your dear carpenter who take time to come. Truly appreciate it n I know Classic is always the best! I get classic to do my kitchen top n wardrobe. Very satisfied with the color, design, carpentry n finishings. Glad to engage their ID Serene. I am Blessed by her knowledge n experience!

I evaluated several ID companies before deciding to go with Classic Furniture. I like the fact that they have their own carpentry workshop so I can trust them to deliver quality workmanship. The renovation of my BTO flat was handled by Mr Lim Huan Wei. It was a breeze working with him. He is very receptive to my ideas and is able to give constructive feedback and suggestions to improve on the execution. It's common to encounter speed bumps during renovation but Huan Wei is never one to shy away from addressing issues. He is always professional, accommodating and goes a long way to ensure your place turns out to be a dream home! I appreciate his help and hard work!

Shortlisted Classic Furniture as our ID and contractor. Huan Wei was in charge of the renovation of our 5 room resale flat. He was amazing at his work, attentive and always providing constructive feedback. He also came up with concepts and was very patient with us despite multiple visits and late nights at his office. Most importantly, we are very impressed with the renovation works done by the shifus and workers. Everything is still in tip top condition after 3 years of stay. Good job. Definitely will continue to use you guys on my second house purchase.

I’m glad to have finally found the perfect interior designer and carpenter that I know I’ll be engaging for years to come. Classic came highly recommended by my developer and I’m just happy that I took their advice. In my developer’s own words, “whatever Serene promises, she delivers”, and indeed, she did. My dry kitchen took 2 days to complete and the carpentry for my entire house (5 levels) took just 2 weeks as promised which is mind blowing. The coordination, multitasking, ability to activate emergency manpower for unplanned works and the quality of their carpentry differentiate Classic from the rest. I didn’t find Classic overly expensive and in fact, the final bill came in very close to the initial quotation which I’ll give Classic a lot of credit for. Even the cleaning of the house by their in-house cleaners was top notch! Were there any hiccups during the entire renovation process? Of course there were, but with Serene and John, you know the issues will be resolved. So well done Classic and keep up the good work.

It was a tough year in 2020, trying to find some decent Reno. My initial ID was full of promises but ended up delaying starting our Reno when restrictions were lifted in June 2020 (due to their manpower and suppliers). Classic furniture design was always on my shortlist but I chose the initial ID due to a lower quote. So guys, lesson learnt. There’s always a catch when you go for the lowest quote. So eventually my wife and I decided to give Serene and her team a shot. We never looked back and have since recommended a few other friends and family to them. If you’re gonna be carpentry heavy, you should really consider them. Their factory is local too so don’t have to worry about work being slowed in Malaysia.

When I decided to renovate my 17 year old apartment, I did some research but ultimately decided to go with Classic Furniture as they renovated my parents' place some 20 years ago and the carpentry for my parents' place is still in great condition! Serene was the ID in charge of my project and she was able to work within the 8-week timeline that was given to her, despite the numerous challenges along the way due to covid restrictions. She was always contactable and responsive and was able to come up with solutions to problems we faced. She also always dispensed very practical advice which was helpful for someone like me who was undertaking a major reno for the first time. Thanks, Classic and Serene! Classic Furniture is efficient and their customer service is excellent. Even their after sales service is very prompt. Initially I had some issues with my previous designs with another contractor, and they are unable to deliver what I wanted within the time frame. Therefore I was introduced to Classic Furniture. Ms Serene from Classic Furniture assisted me with the design and carpentry works. Her experience and expertise expedited the whole process, telling me what can be done and what should not be done, almost immediately. I would also like to commend the quality of their wood. Their materials do not feel filmsy or are those made of chipped wood. My wardrobe is a good example of their remarkable work. I greatly recommend Classic Furniture because: 1. Efficiency 2. Friendly Classic Furniture's Personnels 3. Outstanding workmanship 4. Quality materials (this really matters!) This is definitely one of my best calls to engage them for my house. It was with a little trepidation that we embarked on a complete renovation and extension of our very old kitchen and yard. From the get go, Serene and John were there every step of the way from planning, material selection thru execution. We were never left without any assistance nor solutions to the multitude of challenges that came with the project. Serene was our creative designer in layout planning, detailing and modelling. From the myriad of possibilities, she helped sieved out the less practical and proposed an optimal layout solution after much exchange of ideas and our preferences. During the process, we were provided with excellent visualisation through computer graphics; all done with a large dose of patience, understanding and cheer. We had John, a senior ID, who coordinated and managed the project. John was fully hands-on; in both design expertise and actual installation. He is a consummate problem solver with meticulous attention to details as evident from the varied challenges and changes that came along the way. For example, our bespoke hood chimney extension was particularly challenging. John nailed it with the stainless steel fabrication with consideration of thickness, bending angle, grain direction and seam gaps after doggedly working with manufacturers. His response to our many queries and requests was fast and impressive. As in most renovation projects, the crux of it is the carpentry. I must say Classic Furniture produces one of the finest carpentry work that I have ever seen. Laminates on cabinets were exact, well cut and glued. Doors and drawers were well balanced that swing and move flawlessly. Our project was inadvertently delayed a few weeks due to the global supply chain bottleneck because of Covid and the war in Ukraine; our appliances arrived very late. This impacted our project timetable but Serene and John were very accommodating and adjusted the timetable accordingly to work on whatever we have on hand. Thank you Serene and John for the beautiful and functional kitchen that we have wished for. For those of us planning to do some renovation, I would highly recommend Classic for their exceptional carpentry and their highly dedicated and responsive IDs.

We went to classic furniture for a complete overhaul of our 3 storey house 2 years ago and whilst nothing is perfect especially in construction their star quality is their responsibility and responsiveness. Especially in this renovation business where there are a lot of “hit n run” Contractors who after the job is done disappear without a trace once defects start cropping up. After 2 years even in the midst of the circuit breaker they still respond to our queries and issues and that is super rare. 5 stars!
