Editor Interior was able to comprehend our Design Concept well through skilful and experiences on Interior Design and meet to our expected needs. Our Interior Designer-Yiyi, acted swiftly on problems without compromise to Quality. Recently, I had chipped off one of the corner of the cabinet during floor vacuuming. I had once again sought our Interior Designer-Yiyi, for assistance and advice. She really acted promptly and resolved the issue today, by arranging the carpentry person to assess and repair on the minor chipped off corner. A Great Thanks for her professionalism 👍👍👍👍👍

Looking through the different IDs on Qanvast, Editor Interior was one of the shortlisted IDs which we liked their style based on past designs. We visited our shortlisted IDs and found that Editor Interior came across as more down to earth and not so pushy/aggressive like other firms who are hard on sales. They gave us the feeling that they are here to help and we were convinced in our second visit when they redesigned the layout of our kitchen and dining hall to something that other firms did not proposed. Our ID/PM is Chee Lin throughout the project even though we thought we will get two IDs (Chee Lin and Yiyi) as per the past reviews. 😏 We thought we are being shortchanged with only one ID managing our project. However Chee Lin made up for it as someone who is easy to speak to and could understand our designs. He was attentive throughout the entire engagement (except for the handover date where he misunderstood our communicated date). Other than that hiccup, he was responsive and available on WhatsApp/calls which is something we are grateful for, after seeing so many other projects with IDs ghosting on them. As the firm is more of a specialist for Loft (in condos or private), it was a learning experience for Chee Lin too, handling our old resale 5 room HDB flat. There are some designs proposed which we had to rework due to the nuances in an old flat such as gas piping limitations, differences in ceiling heights in all rooms, toilet pipes, etc. He has made up for it by liaising with our vendors/suppliers (e.g. Exchanging ceiling fan to other light items, change our order for gas stove to induction, etc.) Although there are many changes and redesigns to our plan, plus there are intense discussions and some occasions I'm bogged down with work, Chee Lin remained constant in terms of his communications with us over text and videos so that I can discuss with my wife on late nights and reply. The commitment from him is very much appreciated. In terms of design, we had our own ideas coming to him but he was able to accommodate and also had the courage to repropose other alternatives. Though we can get too technical and down to the nitty gritty details (given this is our second home reno), he entertained all our requests and was upfront if there are variations that meant additional costs. We also had seen some elements or furnishing that we wanted to use instead of his original suppliers, he was okay to get those in and even helped to research for alternatives. Post reno Chee Lin also helped readily with the issues (such as choked drain pipes, touch up paint, electrical works) and remained contactable. Overall it was a good experience with Editor Interior even though there are small hiccups here and there (every reno has its kinks to work out) and some inexperiences for HDB resale project. Will recommend them if you looking for a trustworthy partner for your renovations. 👍

This is my repeat patronage, second time engaging Yiyi as my ID( this is her own startup, previously she was with another company). Similar to my past good experiences, she continue to provide top notch, good quality, and extremely responsive assistance. I have also referred her to my family and friends. She has assigned her staff to help them, they are also likewise pleased with her staff. In terms of price wise, yiyi is really helpful as we are running on tight budget and tight timeline (given our project was already delayed due to Covid). She was able to meet our luxury theme requirements / preferences despite all these challenges and she also extended some stuff to us out out of goodwill. In terms of professionalism, she and her team are well experienced having done countless of projects before. For the construction of loft (our first loft) which requires niche technical knowledge, she was able to explain those technicalities and detail to us, making the process smooth and easy. Overall, we are extremely grateful towards her and couldn’t have asked for more.
