My wife and I were looking for an ID for our new home and Thomas was recommended by my brother as he felt that Thomas' carpentry works are of good quality and that's one of the most important aspects of a good renovation. Thomas has been very kind and patient right from the beginning - explaining to us in detail what to look out for, and his ideas are always a good balance between functionality and aesthetic design. After listening to what we wanted, Thomas will share his opinion based on his many years of experience to let us make informed decisions, so we really appreciated that. For example, we wanted to forgo having powerpoints on the island as we thought we will have enough switches in the main kitchen area + pantry. He advised that perhaps we can consider adding on the island as based on his experience, it's going to be useful, and indeed he was right - we use those switches everyday! One other incident that impressed us was that our water dispenser only requires a water inlet (and don't need a water outlet). However, Thomas added a complimentary water outlet for us because he said it will give us more flexibility if we want to change water dispenser in the future. It's such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had a very smooth renovation journey with Thomas as he has excellent project management skills! We are so glad to have the chance to work with him on our new home! When I embarked on my home renovation project, i did a comparison (around 6-8 ID) by not giving them a specific theme. But I knew I wanted something modern and minimalist aesthetic that also retained some warmth. That’s when Thomas (my current ID) suspected this Wabi-Sabi theme is something I will like. Spot on!! I was particular about the design details and worked closely with him to bring this vision to life. I’m thrilled to say that the end result exceeded my expectations. From the initial planning stage, he listened to my preferences and provided great input on material selection, color schemes, and layout. We worked on blending lights and shapes while still keeping things comfortable and inviting. One of the highlights of the project was the TV console and cove light. I didn’t want the traditional kind and requested for those curves. I was also impressed by how seamlessly they integrated. As for my masterbedroom, I’m very thrilled that with the kind of space, we are able to include island of drawers together with the top hang cabinet, dividing the room into 2parts; bedroom and “walk-in”wardrobe. It’s amazing how the fluted panel along with the LED lighting can create a different touch to the room making it simple yet stylish and cozy. The entire renovation process was smooth. I was kept me informed of every step, and any small adjustments or issues were promptly addressed. In the end, the project was completed on time, within budget, and with a level of craftsmanship that I greatly appreciated. This is my 2nd renovation that we engage Thomas from Thom Signature. We first got to know Thomas through friend recommendation. First impression of Thomas was friendly, straightforward and an down-to-earth man. My unit was a resale flat and due to seller’s restriction, there isn't a flexibility to access the unit until keys handover. I also have a tight timeline as my dog was in boarding and existing furniture in storage. Amidst the waiting period, Thomas did not left us hanging and have us start looking at the theme and share any renovation pictures that we came across which we like. Tons of pictures and requirements from my previous house experience were shared. Thomas receives and absorb all with no complaints and is able to propose designs & solution that suits us perfectly! Discussions were always open. It was comfortable for me to raise any questions and proposing ideas (sometimes weird ones). Despite knowing Thomas had a number of projects on hand, his follow up and project timeline is well managed. His prompt replies to all our queries are what amazes me. With lots of work to be done for the unit overhaul I am very satisfied that there were minimal disruption to our intended timeline and without compromise of the final output & workmanship. After service is excellent with constant review and updates. Overall Thomas provides an excellent service and gives professional advices. I will certainly recommend Thomas to people planning to renovate.

Thom Design Signature was one of three ID firms that we shortlisted on Qanvast. As first time homeowners who were based overseas and did renovation planning remotely, we eventually decided to go with Jolene from Thom Design Signature based on two key factors: 1) Design. From the get go, Jolene asked clear questions about our needs and wants, and was transparent about which elements were optional (thus allowing us to better deliberate and still renovate within our budget). We loved the overall aesthetics and design, which was elegant and more importantly allowed us room to grow into our home. 2) Service. Jolene was responsive on Whatsapp and communicated clearly, with the aid of photos and videos so we can better envision the details. She was punctual to our online meetings, and always prepared. We appreciated that she could handle most, if not all of the questions we asked with ease, as they were questions that she had thought through as well. This was most reassuring:) We want to say a huge thank you to Jolene for being so on the ball throughout the renovation process, including for talking us through options patiently when we could not make up our mind. As we were overseas, she even took the effort to mail the laminate and paint samples to us ahead of our online meeting to finalise the choices. Jolene also provided timely updates (photos + videos) of the entire renovation process. She also patiently coordinated the schedule with our parents, who were helping to oversee the process in-person, and our electrician. We also appreciate how she was always open to taking in our feedback and communicating her considerations/views clearly in a non-pushy manner. Nigel was our ID. Enjoyed working with him from start to finish. He took time to listen to our needs. Our timeline, our preferences. We appreciated that during the discussions, he would point out the rough cost and the necessity of things before deciding if it’s worth the design. We just moved in about two months ago and would definitely recommend Thomas (Thom’s Signature Design) without hesitation. We heard about Thomas from a relative’s colleague who sang high praises of his work and also offered to let us view her place to check out the workmanship. Thomas impressed us from the get-go with his attention to detail when he took the time at the first appointment in our place to carefully take measurements and photos of the place. He has also proven to be very responsible and patient in answering our questions and comments. He doesn’t provide instant responses every time but usually within 24 hrs, and that’s because he gives his 100% attention whenever he is in a meeting with clients. We encountered a few mishaps with a sudden pipe leak (as it is an old apartment) and the covid-19 delays, but Thomas always guided us along these stressful situations expertly with practical advice on how to resolve them. Feedback from our new neighbours have been very good - they say that his team is very neat and doesn’t cause unnecessary disruptions. There was just one minor niggling point - We were trying hard to stick to our budget, but it was slightly challenging as in one or two instances we were not informed of the price for additional variations we requested before the work started, otherwise we might have not gone ahead due to costs. However, that does not detract from the fact that the overall experience of working with Thomas has been top notch. Even after we made full payment, he has still been promptly responding to our questions and popping in to help us out when he can. We will definitely engage his services again, and highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you Thomas!

I engaged Thom Signature to renovate my resale private apartment during the period of Nov 2019-Mar 2020. I would highly recommend their service as they were professional and customer-centric. When I was selecting my ID, I was most impressed by Thom Signature as they took effort to analyze the layout, and suggested ways in which I could reconfigure the resale flat. I was very impressed by this attitude - some of the other IDs I visited did not bother to think about what makes sense, and showed very little effort in thinking about the layout. The renovation process was smooth. My ID was very responsive, which is a important characteristic of a good ID. Whilst there were challenging moments (like my preferred tiles being out of stock, or vinyl flooring shipment delays), my ID was always very patient and provided useful suggestions on how we can overcome the problem. All in all, I had a very good experience, and would definitely engage them again! Thank you Thom Signature!

I got a 20 yo resale flat from the first owner, so heavy renovation was needed, and Allen could give good suggestions with reasonable pricing.
