We have used threeD twice for 2 different house renovations 7-8 years apart. Our first experience was alright. There was some glitches (uneven flooring and stained floor post reno) as with all renos, but these issues were eventually resolved to the best of their ability. As it was our first and only Reno then, I would say that the Reno experience was ok. After living in the home for many years, we actually find that the design was highly practical and very comfortable to live in. For our second home, we explored threeD and other IDs, went for a few rounds of exploratory discussions to see who we are comfortable with , and which design proposal we like better. In the end, we still chose ThreeD and mainly because of Serene and Lance, the IDs assigned to our project. Serene and Lance are fantastic and very patient in understanding our needs and she is able to come up with design to balance my husband, mine and even my kids’ needs. Among all the design proposals we reviewed, hers is most practical, creative in resolving layout issues and full of common sense, without compromising the look. Common sense is a very important trait for an ID as common folks, like us, do not know what to look out for. She has really helped us in resolving most issues and even unforeseeable issues with her design advice. Even if she doesn’t have the answers immediately, she is committed to take time to find a solution for it. After several months in our house, my family and I are happy, loving it and comfortable. The design did work for us practically.
