Service staff were ok and we found the earrings we wanted as gifts. However the disappointment came after payment was made. There was no decent box and paper bag with the company's name. Just plastic container (or some lousy paper gift box you get at costume hair accessories shop). It seems that we just spent $880 for some cheap costume jewellery. Even Top Cash has beautiful jewellery box with decent paper bag printed with the company's name, on par with bigger jewellery establishment. Not sure why Chennai Goldsmith is not proud of theirs. Ok if you want to buy gold for yourself. Certainly not recommended if you are buying them as gifts.
