Kester is my go to SA for THG ever since my 1st watch from him at Tangs branch since 2019 where I bought a pair of Tudor 1926 for myself and my daughter. We enquired about the New Titanium Rolex Yachtmaster.. but unfortunately they did not even have a floor model for trying. I was at Takashimaya on Friday, 17 March 2023 when I decided to enter The Hour Glass. I initially entered to make enquiries about some Tudor models, but all the Watch Specialists were engaged with other customers. One kind lady approached me and encouraged me to wait for a bit for a Watch Specialist to be available to attend to me, and I did. Mr. Dave Tan ended up attending to me. He was very patient with my queries and took the time to explain and share which models were available for purchase, which were for exhibition only, and the like. After finding out more about which models I was inclined towards, we spoke a bit about watches as a whole, which was nice! He also allowed me to try on a a BB58 Navy Blue and Ranger on my wrist. I told him I would go for a walk and consider a purchase, and after some time, returned. Mr. Tan was very helpful in not only resizing the bracelet for me, but also showed a lot of patience in processing the purchase, which I really appreciate. I was initially at the store on my own, but the second time around, my children were in the boutique with me. Mr. Tan obliged us with a photo together, which, for me, was a nice memento of my wonderful experience at THG Takashimaya. I really appreciate the time he took to speak to me and everything, especially since it was my first time at an AD (my previous experiences were all at grey market dealers). Plan to be back again sometime in the future (after Watches and Wonders 2023)!
