We planned an event here. Since there was no kitchen on site. It was catered. The caterer was not good, ffiendly, or helpful. The location itself was beautiful.

Astheic Historical church, with wonderful restaurants inside this place. A perfect work meetup place or a place to go on a date. This is lovely! You can visit here. Eat sit, take pictures pray and have fun. One star less, because the escalotor to the basement was not working and that was not clean tooo. Rest assured its amazing.

We used the CHIJMES function hall for our son's wedding reception. The ambience is really special. The soaring arches overhead and the stained glass windows together create an awe-inspiring environment.

Visited a restaurant called Honbo. Apparently, it's a Hong Kong burger chain. The burgers were awesome. One could add $12 for a glass of red wine to pair with the burger. Special mention for Peach for her amazing recommendations with a smile.

If nothing has open anymore the Pemenco at the chimes, is where you want to be. Fair prices for beer always Airliners around (Pick from whichever Airline you prefer) and a good mood around there. Always recommended if you are close by :)

It's definitely a very nice spot across the entire Singapore. As one of the oldest convent schools, this place has had quite a history here. Lovely spot today, with a lot of high class restaurants and bars surrounding this space. Especially so at night, you'll find this area crowded and fun. During world cup seasons, this place will definitely be jammed packed with soccer fans.

A beautiful place full of wonderful dining options depending on your preference. There’s a church too in the compound that’s a tiktok/ influencer favorite for pictures/ videos. The compound is lovely with lawns and a small bridge that adds to the character of the place. It has a nice colonial building feel and is a breath of fresh air in the center of sky scrapers. This is also a favorite wedding venue apparently. I would love to attend a wedding here for sure 😃

An amazing place to visit & re-visit. The site of a church & Orphanage , mostly for girls , run by the nuns. Worth looking up the history. It's now filled with incredible Restaurants, for all tastes & price points. An area for children, complete with bean bags . Do go there. Both day and night .

Nice huge hall with the olden architectural and dome structure, suited for large gatherings, wedding functions or company/customer convention meeting events. Spacious enough host big parties functions with food serving or buffet party. The name itself rings bell and says about its historic looks and construction. The lighting and its style of hanging chandeliers looks beautiful.

I really like this place, the old building was turned into one of the best places to eat in Singapore ✅ A lot of kind of cafe, bar, restaurant that you can choose ✅ Instagramable, especially the main building ✅ Splendid architecture blend the old and new vibes ✅ Near other tourist attractions so you can just chipped in after visiting other tourist attraction in Singapore I tried Hvala, a matcha specialist cafe, which was extremely good 👍

The cafe name after 'Dough' was good. Food portion was good. Taste of every dishes are tasty & uniquely cooked. The place 'Dough' cafe is spacious and hands on with good service. Will recommend more friends & family members to 'Dough.' Place : at CHIJMES. Indeed is worth dining at 'Dough.' Is worth it. Prices of food are at reasonable prices. Moreover lots of varieties to choose in the menu. Thank you. Regular customer.

Not really a good place to get an early dinner. Almost all the placez were closed at 4pm. Some were not open until 5:30-6pm. We were going to get New Ubin but it wasn't open until 5:30 pm. Even if places were open, most of the seatings are outside and it can get very hot and humid in Singapore. I suggest coming here at night time. Maybe I'll give this another try when I'm in the area. I'm sure this place is beautiful at night time to enjoy a meal and light drinking.

Nice dim sum with parents at lei garden at level one . Visit on a weekday to avoid crowd . Very nice ambience and food , highly recommended if you're a fan of Cantonese dim sum .

Haven't got a chance to go inside this historic church but around the church it's most beautiful ambiance for dinner datse.. wide range of cuisines for your choice.. our dinner over there was one of the memorable experience. Even if you are not interested in dining or drinks you can still chill out on cozy bean bags and enjoy..

Visited Gyu Kaku located at Chimes, one of the best BBQ restaurant. A good place for birthday celebration, remember to request the server to on the fan even through the place is equip with air conditioning, the BBQ heat could be very hot.

Chijmes stands for Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus Middle Education School. This is a beautiful national monument located near the Bras Basah Mrt Station. It was originally a Convent for Catholic nuns which later turned into a school and now a commercial area for many F&B outlets, bars and a tourist site.

This is an absolute gem in the city. Love the place, tastefully designed. Lots of restaurants in that square, you're spoilt for choice. There's a Michelin star Japanese restaurant too. We had lunch at Lei Garden. They serve very delicate dim sum. It was a good meal. Walked from Bencoolen Street. Truly enjoyed the walk with so much to see.

Historical place with an old Catholic convent called the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus. Good for a nice stroll. The place also abounds with interesting restaurants. Walking distance from Raffles City.

Historic place... was an orphanage then convent then school then preserved and converted for commercial use. Very pretty inside, small chapel, nicely detailed, nothing like the opulence of the European cathedrals but warm and cosy. Lots of high class restaurants within and nice places for chilling and hanging out with friends...

Place next to City Hall mrt , 3 mins walk . CHIJMES has a lot of eateries, pubs/bars and open spaces for people to socialise n interact . Had a lot of Japanese eateries and desserts shops such as Havala which specialises in matcha desserts . Almost famous which sells craft beer .

Time: 15~30 minutes. Transportation: Get off the subway at City Hall Station and walk for 5 minutes. Tickets: Free. This is a photo spot for Internet celebrities, and the results are quite good. If you are not satisfied with your schedule, you can stop here. Remember to wear darker colors and match them with white buildings to highlight the characters.
