Reviews of Timbre+ One North
Bidding farewell to a unique store that serve laksa chicken rice bowl - Ascialicious at #01-17. 🥲
Welcoming the arrival of a new store that opened this year, Spinach Soup at #01-17. 🥳
I love their generous serving of spinach with thick slice portion of Batang fish paired with their delicious homemade chili sauce with the choice of bee hoon/ee mian or rice option to go along with my spinach and slice fish soup.
Really loved the food at this store. And on top of that, there is two thin piece of fish cake that comes in my spinach with fish soup. 😍
Unfortunately, i can’t find the google page to do a google review for them.
With my new year resolution to eat healthier, i had been patronising them for quite a while.
Had tried to avoid the lunch crowd at 11:30am/12pm(queues and waiting time expected), visiting at 1pm onwards is a safe option. :) By far, the first store that i found in this area that served batang fish instead of 生鱼 for my fish soup cravings.
Simple and hearty spinach fish soup for lunch, warming my tummy during raining days. Thank you store owner for serving us such a hearty and delicious food in Timbre+ at One North! :)
Venue wise, it can get a little bit warm or hot during sunny days at lunch hours. Find a seats under the big ceiling fan might helps.
Do remember to download the timbre app to enjoy 10% discount for your food.
Spinach soup and Fishball noodle shops are excellent. Thai food from streets of Bangkok has great Grilled pork skewers moo ping
My go to place for their collection of craft beers, and beers from different parts of world. I only wished the beer was slightly priced on lower side. Food wise they have different cuisines to choose from. Everything is good. I personally love the Thai stall here. I keep going back often. Live music brings out better ambience in this place.
Hawker centre in fashion style, nice and chill. This building is constructed with lots of containers, making up with lots of graffiti painting. And each stall bases on a container. Many office workers would come over for their lunch on weekdays. When nighttime coming, it will turn into a hub of chill pubs and bars with live band shows.
Accessibility: near one north mrt, 6- 7 min walk away
Crowd: plenty of empty seats even on sat night
Food: some stalls are closed at night, but still plenty of options. We ate at hungry thai and the food is 5/5
Ambience: live band (vocalist was really good)
The most talked about place in One North area. Great selection of food and beers to chill out after a busy day. Especially love the Har Cheong Gai wings there. Most outlets only accept cash.
Large airly food truck/food court venue. Food is not bad. We tried the pork leg rice, kebabs, dumplings and laksa chicken rice from 4 different stores. All were delicious. Pretty nice chill vibe as well.
I enjoyed the simple dinner but delicious that only cost me $7.50 in total with great ambience and live music band.
Timbre + One North has several variety food like western , Thai , Chinese Zher Char etc .
My advise to come earlier if you are not into live band because evening time seems to have several shop close except western, Thai and zher char.
Will be back to try others stall too.
Great vibes for friends gathering, with live music.
Great options for food. The love band is amazing, would be great if they started earlier selfishly we have kids who has a bedtime schedule. It's a little warm so I would not recommend going there with light clothing
crazy crowded during office lunch hours, even from before 1130am.
variety is huge, only a few stalls having perpetually long queues.
people are quite daring to “chope” tables with their staff pass & such 🤨
Love the chill atmosphere and live music. A good variety of food to go with beer from the bottle shop - We like Burgs, Street of Bangkok, Iskina Cebu, Hungry Thai and mala. Recently they’ve launched an app and have 10% discount when you pay through the app.
Great place to enjoy different cuisines with live music in the evenings. variety of food including Thai, Mexican, American, Chinese, Indian served in food trailers. There is a bar in the center (Bottle Shop). usually crowded during lunch time as most of the people working around fusionopolis like to eat here. Hungry Thai and the Big Burn's are my favourite stalls in timber+. Its recommended for dinner as different bands will be performing live after 6 pm !
I was so surprise by the variety of food stalls there. And I must say pretty good food. The high light there would be live band. And was told that friday night is the best and you can actually dance thou the dance floor is rather small. It would be better if you could dance every night, not just Friday night. I will definitely go back again.
Very hot when its so crowded! Great atmosphere. Food was alright.
The Northern cuisine here is quite a let down. Xiao Long Bao taste like factory made. Came with broken dumplings and the minced meat inside doesn't taste fresh.
1st time to be here. It really a good place for friends gathering and chitchat. Must try xlx modern tzachan dish, the asam fish. While for the western attached from the pic, recommended the spicy fries if you are msg fans. The cango cheesy fries is nice😉
Good variety of food, some fare better than others of course, but generally not bad. Decent band performs in the evenings. Ambience is nice, but without aircon the place gets a little warm, even when the outdoors feels cooler. Good to visit at least once, maybe repeat visit if in the vicinity.
Tonnes of delicious food and drinks ranging from Asian, Chinese, Western, Malaysia......
It is nice to come at night because there are live bands singing and the vibe is absolutely amazing!
Abundance of food stalls but the atmos will only peak in the evening. The tray return signage us also pretty misleading
Food was excellent! Rice was very fragrant, gravy was delicious and chicken was very tender and flavourful. Stall looks unassuming but food was very good, will definitely be back :)
Food was pretty good, live band on the day was pretty good too. I like the 1 Litre cookie and cream ice blended, was hilarious. Very crowded so might have to share tables during dinnertime. Okayish tables.
Got live band at night
Weekend night not all open but still got reasonable of stall
Mix between hawker food and resto food.
Nice concept, nice decoration.
You need to return your own tray to get back your 1$ :)
The video that I took on was Saturday so its not crowded.
Nice place to hang around with friend with decent spending, good environment, could be too crowded especially when there is liveband.
Not a good place for discussion during evening but a very nice plan to hang around with frens for beers n tidbits
I had lunch here for 20 days. There is a lot of great food to choose from. I highly doubt someone won't find something they like. From what I remember, the place had Chinese, American, Japanese, and Malaysian cuisine. I'm sure there's a lot more. There are dedicated stores for drinks like fruit shakes, coffee, Milo, bubble tea, etc.
The place is kind of hippy, I don't dislike it or like it. I think it's okay. There is a stage for band, they perform at night. Sometimes, they stream esports on a white screen.
The stores are clean and can understand English so even outsiders won't have problem here. What I like here is they have an app which you can use to pay stores here. You just have top up from a kiosk they setup, then just scan the QR code to stores to pay, easy and fast. There's also a return place for used tray.
Huge place with wide variety of 'fancy' food at affordable prices. Environment may be abit too noisy on nights with live performances.
nice and clean with various food, and live band was great.
But many shops are closed after 3pm.
Very nice place to hangout with friends or colleagues. There are plenty of options for food and beer here. In fact, the options were more varied than anywhere I've seen before
First time at Timbre+. Heard alot of comments on this place and decides to give it a try. It's a hipster up market "food center". Plenty of food & seats for large groups! I quite liked the food there.
Timbre+ is a food court at the day time while it become open bar & band at night. It has modern concept of and lots of different food and drink store within this area. One of the famous shop is the fish noodle and also another one for seafood at night. It has many different store day and night for your budget and appetite. Close to one north MRT.
When I went (5:30pm on a Thursday) there was no live music and no atmosphere (place was empty), but I can see the appeal.
I was disappointed with the lack of vegetarian options, but settled for a vegetarian bowl at Myra's, which was 5/5 for freshness, taste and value.
This would probably be a good place to come for food & a few beers when the live band is playing.
A pretty unique food court. I went during non peak day time, it could be much more lively during evening and night. Nice selection of food, Thai, Chinese, Indian, western, French, Italian, Mexican, & much more.. Funky interior and a good looking bar.
Wide choice of fairly priced food and beer with live music. The Szechar stall is my favorite, generally their fried rice and noodles are not bad, though I had the salted egg fish rice and that was not good.
Good food all around here.
Everytime I'm here on Friday night then can enjoy supersonic's performance! Love them all! They can sing many types of song and real good. For me, the food is just average but varieties. (didn't capture their photo but video instead)
1st trip here. Felt entertained by e live band.
Went a 2nd time. Enjoyed e live band (different band) as much as I enjoyed e other group.
Food wise, good range of choices, different continent cuisine (Asia to European etc).
Happy hour till 7pm where 3 pints of Archipalego beer goes at $25. Normal price is $13/pint.
Love the tray return system. You are charged $1 for the food tray but you get the money back when you return the tray with the utensils. This means the next person waiting for your table doesn't have to deal with the mess. The only downside - it's really very crowded during weekday lunch.
Tried Kush on a Saturday evening. Meh. Baby pork ribs not work the $16. The skewers were pretty decent though.
Good place to eat cheap and delicious. I love the Nasi Lemak. Must try. They offer halal food. Remember to return the tray to get your deposit SGD 1. They have musical performance at night as well.
Always love the food and ambience. A good place to get together and have good food/beer.
Very spacious but crowded during lunch time. Various options to choose for your favourite dishes. Not easily accessible
One thing special about kush is the smoky grilled essence infused into all of their meat dishes! Ordered the truffle steak with salted egg fries ($23++) and was not disappointed; the thin steak was done just right, albeit a little too salty for my liking. Great for NUS students nearby who desire a nice dinner for a reasonable price. The live music at night rounds up the meal perfectly!
Quite alot of good food in timbre+. Must try the Italian cuisine. Thin crush pizza and a wonderful pasta
Good variety of stalls and pleasant environment. Nice affordable place to hang out with friends after work. Classic cheese burger & Cuban (pulled beef with cheese fries) from Burg's Burger, and Mentai toufu from Taiwanese Street Food were nice. But the squid-ink pasta from the Italian food truck and the Philippino pork belly from Cebu truck were only so-so/ok.
Moopick is one of the stalls that caught my eyes and I didn't regret it.
The Tom Yam was a little more coconut forward, but I really enjoyed it.
Nice place to chill during midweek of work
Great place to chill now that live music is back.
My favourite stores are smokbites, burgs, nasi padang, nasi lemak store and chinese noodle store
Great place close to where Im working, food from everywhere, easy, and some really, really good
Gets stuffy inside. Dress comfortably
Take note of the opening time for the place you want.
Was here at 530 for these pictures
If you like hawker centre but cannot compromise on ambience, this is for you 😆 Price range is in between food court and restaurant. Plenty of drink choices at the bar. Live gig starts from 8pm++. Band is called The Common People
Lots of choices but stalls closed by 9.30pm on a Tuesday despite the great band
Went early otherwise cannot get a seat but too warm in the early evenings
Nice food and nice environment to chill out with friends and colleagues.
Free music (live band on the weekend).
Chill vibes. Good bar food. Wide selection from the bar. Good
Food always great and service pretty good at the stalls. Unfortunately the band was a little dissapointing. The replacements singers for act the Vibes were not up to usual quality and the sound engineer must have been hard of hearing because it was so loud and distorted we could only hear clear when we got to street.
Plenty of different food choices but just a little crowded during lunch time..
All 5 stars is for the nasi padang shop. Nice lady boss w amazing tasting stew beef (don't find this elsewhere) and beef redang. Not to forget their generous serving and affordable price. Worth the queue.
The Nasi Biryani here is a hidden gem. They cook it with all long grained rice and the taste is exquisite.
Tried Fishball Story. Food wise is so so only, the noodle and chilli is actually quite... Bad? I suppose I can use that word. But it's not VERY bad, just bad. Especially since the noodle is hard, not bouncy, and dry. While the chilli is just really spicy with no depth.
However credit is to be given to the side dish for the noodle as it's not only novelty in the local scene, but it's also tasty!
Haven't tried the rest of the food here yet.
Went on a Saturday for dinner, only about 20% of the straps are opened.
Ambience is alright, food wise erh....better choices else where
Not likely for a return visit 🙄
Great venue! I enjoyed the live band and food available in the premises.
A vibrant food court with many options for different cuisines and drinks!
got lot of food options but on some days its very hot inside and dark also. Food is nice but they could improve on ventilation and ambience.
1) Band music is too loud.
2) The atmosphere is too hot, need more fans to cool it down.
3) Drinks price are a bit high.
Modern style hawker centre with a live band. Had a really good blend of local and overseas food choices but the food wasn’t particularly fantastic. The live band was also a little loud if u prefer to have a conversation over a meal here!
Great food selection. Live band each night. Be sure to download the Timbre+ app for discounts... and the ability to request the band to play special requests!
Great place, many options, great cuisines and food experience. Special attention needed to opening hours, avoid lunch time if crowds are not your thing, make sure you turn up relatively early though to make sure you try all options because many close around 5 or 6!
Food prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is great.
Although keep in mind that it can be a little overcrowded in lunch hours.
Awesome music on Friday nights. Great choices of food. Chirashi don $16
Usually patronise the place on Saturday evenings due to location proximity reasons. It is really noisy especially with the live band... the singing is not that great most of the time... The lady literally shouts into the mic rather than sings.. Some of the stores have really nice food and service.. Not a great place to relax with food and chat on Saturday evenings. The place is usually crowded with office workers on weekdays.
Went twice.. Friday and Saturday. Both days got fabulous live bands. Good was good too. Only drawback was the food and drink places closing rather early. Had to drink beer eventually because that was the only thing available and it was quite a warm evening
Stopped by here pretty accidentally on after a night of looking for drinks. The food options were pretty limited because of the time of night and it was a little difficult to get transportation because of the time.
The Thai food was quite excellent and reasonably priced all things considered. The bar was well stocked with a lot of variety for drinks so that helped keep the night going. There was a lively band laying although the crowd was pretty small they were quite energetic so that was nice to see. Overall would absolutely go back.
Lots of yummy food here! Still trying everything!
Live band is back! Had a wonderful time and will definitely be back again. 👏👏
Pricey food, but the live music is really worth it. The performing band changes every day, and all of them are good. About food, there are a lot of choices there, and if you use Shopback app, you can get about 5% cashback on your spending.
6.00am bought from kopifellas and mix food (economical rice noodle stall) 👍
This is a hawker ... a food market ... a little outside but easy to reach with the Circel Line ... exit One-North ... like everywhere else, great food and live music!
Smaller and clearer
Yumz
stylish food court
Looks like they're doing live shows too.
There are also stylish craft beer shops.
The second spiciness is
It was just right.
The live performance was fun, but it seems like the place hasn't been revitalized much yet. Some stores were closed. And One North itself is a densely populated area with companies, so there is no place to go if you leave this place. Although it is more expensive than a typical hawker center, you can still enjoy it at a low price, but I don't think you need to come here.
It's outdoors so it gets a bit hot in the summer so you have to take it out, but the price is really cheap (usually 4~6 SGD) and the taste is good.
A beginner hawker center says my daughter. Spicy was really spicy, it makes you sweat even more than you already do. The Thai Hungry Stand was our choice. Band also played live.
