Dr Yong was very detailed in giving me an understanding of my case and he was very patient and also detailed in answering my questions. He made me feel totally at ease with his friendly and jovial manner and the session did not feel rush unlike other doctors whom seem to want to see the next patient. Dr Yong is our eye doctor for the entire family as he has always been very patient and provides lots of medical details before and after our eye examinations. Our family truly trust him for our regular check ups, cataract replacement and retinal surgery. He has consistently exhibited professionalism during our discussions and provides relevant options available for us. His staff are also very professional in their follow ups with our appointments. They will always provide reminders on the action plan before our eye examination or surgery.

I highly recommend Dr Yong. He's very professional and caring. Despite his busy schedule, he took the time to reply email promptly and even told us to whatsapp him for even quicker reach. But what's more important is his expertise during consultation, he was able to explain things clearly and patiently, made sure not to miss out anything. Dr Yong is everything you would want in a doctor. He listened patiently to my issue, and was then incredibly thorough in his investigation of my eyes, and calmly explained his diagnosis and possible treatment options. He also has a wonderful team of assistants that are similarly professional yet empathetic of any new patient's fears around seeing an eye doctor.

Dr. Yong is an amazing, dedicated and knowledgeable doctor!! it is rare to see doctors holding a BSc with 1st class honours and MBBS with distinction; and he's the first one in my life~ Having diagnosed with Choroidal Neovascularization (CNV) eye condition ~3yrs ago, I was in shock and was afraid to proceed on with the treatment; but any delay would lead to loss of vision. Dr. Yong, being a patient and empathetic doctor, managed to calm me down and (re)explain the need for early treatment and I eventually did! To me, I find that our human eye is an important organ as it helps us see the world... so all the more we should entrust someone to help heal/manage it when there's a problem. Dr. Yong is the only eye doctor I trust and so should you! 😉
