I was referred to Eagle Eye Centre by many of my friends and I can understand why they are so highly recommended. The staff were all so professional and friendly; they walked us through all the tests that we were supposed to do for the assessment so that we know exactly what is going on. The consultation was very thorough and the lady explained all the different options of lasik procedures. They were not pushy and if you’re not suitable for lasik, there are other options available. I did the ICL and it was really the best decision I’ve made. Dr Julien Theng was very patient and he was very confident. During the whole procedure which took about only 6mins for both eyes, he was super reassuring, and he explained what he was doing as he went along. I felt very safe to be operated by him. Now I know he is so highly sought after! During the wait, they even provide us with complimentary lunch and movie so that we could kill some time. Exceptional service from all the staff and I’d definitely recommend them to everyone who’s looking for lasik surgery! Thank you Dr Theng and team for giving me such a wonderful experience!

I came for ICL this may 2023 this year by Dr Julian Theng, everything went smooth and recovered well after 3 months. As my father have some vision issue recently so I make appointment for my dad to see Dr Julian, and did his right eye Cataract surgery on the 30th August 2023. I wanted to feedback about our experience today at Eagle Eye Centre Kap Residences mall. Surgery was done by Dr Julian on 30/8/23 morning 8am at Mount Alvernia, review was on the next day after the surgery at Eagle Eye Centre Kap, appointment at 10.35am (31/8/23), but we waited from 10.30am until afternoon nearly around 2pm only get to see Dr Julian, more than 3 hours wait. And Dr Julian did mentioned it was a busy day, by the time when we reach home around 3pm already. And 1 week later we back for review (8/9/23) by Dr Wesley Chong, he says need to add 1 more eye drip for my dad, and continue all eyedrop and did not mention when we should stop using the eye drop. And 5 days after using the given eye drop, my dad's right eye turn red and he felt pain, so I called and was advised to stop the added eye drop, and make appointment to see Doctor the next day at 1.30pm to see Dr Julian. Today, 13/9/23 appointment with Dr Julian at 1.30pm , we went to the clinic at 1pm and was told to wait for our turn, after a few eye test we were told to wait for Doctor consultation, at around 2pm i went to check with the assistant and was told there are still 3 patients before us , waiting time around 1-1hour 30mins. As my dad is 67 y/o this year currently red eye feeling unwell, and every review me and my mother have to company him, we sitting there to wait my dad look really tired and unwell, he need to close his eyes most of the time and rest backward. So after knowing still got to wait 1 hour more, we went to ask if lounge staff able to let my father rest at the couch, and luckily we are allow to. I Did my ICL surgery here too this year May, the assistant did the arrange nicely for me and my husband for complimentary lunch and so for movie while we wait for my late afternoon surgery. So today I went to check with the assistant if able to get complimentary lunch for the patients who is waiting but she say no complimentary. The clinic assistant should have told us the waiting time, and let us know still need to wait 1-2 hours so we can decide to go out for lunch and come back later or patients wants to wait at the clinic. And they can also tell the patients to have lunch first and call 15 mins before our turn to see Doctor isn't this better than of 8-10 patients waiting there? Since we will still need to wait for 1 hour more, at least lounge with couch for my dad able to rest. So we decide to have lunch there at the lounge. So we went back to the clinic around 2.45pm and we finally meet Dr Julian at around 3pm. I did raise up this frustrations to Dr Julian during consultation, and I do understand Dr Julian really is busy and he tried his best to see all his patients. When we have our review with other doctor, as well as my ICL review, almost on time and after Doctor consultation everything can be done in less than 1 hour. If this only happen 1 time then doesn't matter, but every time when review with Dr Julian we got to wait for 2-3 hours. My mother's appointment for Cataract Eye Pre Surgery screening this month end with Dr Julian, she is re-considering whether we should come to Eagle eye Kap now, as every review with Dr Julian will have to wait, and it is really tiring to wait there for few hours. Dr Julian is really great, my father done his left eye Cataract Surgery by Dr Julian too, it was on year 2007, and its still great now just that the right eye need to do the Cataract surgery so we came back to look for Doctor Julian, we just frustrated of the waits every time, why with appointments we are still going to wait for so many hours? Do improve the appointment arrangement, please.

Had the good Dr Val Phua and his team help me with an ICL surgery. Was overall a great experience (except for the surgery itself, but on a “wish there would be an easier way to do it). Will never do it again I suppose! But very happy that I’ve done it and can start my life without glasses and seeing clear now. This is undoubtedly the best eye clinic in Singapore! EagleEye truly exceeded my expectations, and I have been enthusiastically sharing this experience with my friends and family! Had my ICL surgery done with Dr Julian Theng on 10 April and had a very good overall experience. There were many eye tests that were done prior to the surgery. The ICL surgery took less than 5 minutes per eye, only pain you feel is the pressure when the lens is inserted, other than that the numbing eye drops were more than sufficient. Eagle eye really goes above and beyond for customer care and service. The after surgery pack came with sunglasses and goggles to wear to sleep. The next day during the follow up, they even printed the photo they took after the surgery. Very good overall experience. Highly recommend

Went for an appointment with Julian for lasik. Was quite apprehensive about IOLI Started at 9am with a battery of test and non stop eye drops Consulted with the optometrist at 12noon Lunch at the premium lounge was surprisingly good and clearly catered for patients. Very private area and I enjoyed the massage chair Consulted with Julian at 1.30pm. He is a very busy man but one who is also very confident. Shared with me the recent FDA warning about lasik and also concerns he had about lasik for me. He reassured me that lens implant complications were very low. He had 3-4 in the past 10 years. I decided to go ahead with surgery the same day Had a very enjoyable time at cinema watching aquaman prior The eye drops continued and they are really a lot of drops. Given the headache I experienced from the blur vision ect, this clinic made the environment as pleasant and calm as possible The recovery nurse was very reassuring and sweet. Prepared me for surgery. I was super nervous but Julia and his nurses were very professional and calm. Thanks to the nurse who held my hand. The whole surgery finished in about 30 mins. Recovered for 40 minutes and knocked out at home First day post op. My eyes were still inflamed and slightly uncomfortable la Julian reviewed me and was happy with the results In less than 48 hours my eyes were completely back to normal. I called the clinic and booked consultation with Dr Julien Theng, had to wait 6 months but it was worth the wait as i trusted him with my eyes! Went on a friday and there were many patients waiting for the consultation too. The consultation and surgery was done on the same day. I did ICL due to my high degree and thickness of cornea, considering lesser side effects compared to lasik. Dr Theng really reassured me during the surgery and was very calm as well. The only difficulty was you have to really focus on a light or something so that your eyes wont move while he was doing surgery. It lasted around 10min for both eyes? Truth be told, I had always wanted to do correction for my power and astig since I was young. But i'm super afraid of the surgery, flaps or whatsoever that I read on reddit, some med research papers and so on. A few of my friend did lasik and ICL and actually comforted me with positive "reinforcements". I used to wear out the regular contact lens for work related stuff and my eyes couldnt bear with it. Always drying out even with the best claimed contact lens materials there are out there. There was once, after blinking, the contacts came off because it was too dry. That's when i decided 1-day to just go for a consult. Initially, I thought of just getting a consult and checking what are the possibilities of my eyes getting lasik/ICL/etc. What kind of treatments am I eligible and recommended for as everyone's eyes are different. I got a super quick reply from the clinic after doing the online enquiry and they asked if I'd be willing to carry out the surgery on the same day of the first consult, should i be eligible for a treatment. Obviously, I grabbed the opportunity because, why waste more MCs/AL to come back for another day of surgery haha! Dr Val was assigned to be my doctor and since I had some friends who undergone surgeries with him as well, I felt, reassured. Going into all the check up and stuff was straight forward and considerably quick. Was around half a day total in the clinic (with surgery). Dr Val answered ALL literally all the questions and concerns I had from reading all those cons from reddit, papers or insta reels etc. Again I was reassured but I took a looong time to think if ICL or SMILE was better for me, weighing the pros and cons and all. I proceeded for an ICL based on my assessment and recommendation in the end. The surgery was a quick 20-ish minutes process and Dr Val made did it flawlessly. No pain! Legit! Just felt like you having your finger put on a contact lens in your eye. I think what was more annoying was having to look into the light source directly for Dr to work on. Today, 1 month later, I never regretted the ICL and am glad that Dr Val was fated to be my eye surgeon. Check ups were smooth sailing and quick, and he will definitely answer any queries, concerns even post surgery. A* team in EEC. From friendly staffs to doctors, and optometrists. Would definitely recommend for your eye correction needs and to 'see the world'. Not a sponsored post but, I calculated that in the long average lifespan of buying spectacle with lens of high power, astig, and thin index because who wants that right? it costs around the same if not more than the cost of any lasik surgery. So if you have the budget to invest in your eyes, do it. PS. I can now buy sunglasses without prescription and it IS AWESOME.

My SMILE surgery was done at EEC by Dr. Theng. Very pleased with the whole process. I managed to squeeze the appointment in just a week. Assessment took quite a bit of time, from 11AM to 3.30PM. My preference is SMILE. Luckily, Dr. Theng also said SMILE is most ideal for me (thick cornea). Came back at 6.30PM on the same day for the surgery. All done by 8PM. Only took 1 week from my first contact with EEC until surgery done. Recovery is going well now. Very happy.

Recently completed my ICL surgery at EEC with Dr. Val Phua and had a great experience. I decided to go with EEC after several personal recommendations. I had an initial consultation with Dr val after a series of eye tests and was told that I was only eligible for ICL due to my high degree and astigmatism. The surgery itself was very fast and only around 15 to20 minutes. Despite the numbing drops, it was still uncomfortable due to the pressure from inserting and positioning the icl. However, Dr val was very comforting and guided me through the steps he was taking, so I was reassured throughout the whole operation which went smoothly. The nurses and staff were hospitable and professional in general, from preparing me for the surgery to afterwards in explaining to me the medications I had to take post op. Dr val wasvery knowledgeable and patient, and attended to all my worries about the ICL and advised me accordingly, during the initial consultation and post op checkups. It has been one week since my surgery and my vision is almost perfect. On the first few days, I had minor side effects like halos when looking at bright lights and blurry near vision, but these mostly subsided after a few days. Overall, for the great service and satisfying results, I would recommend eagle eye centre for anyone looking to do a refractive surgery.

She was also very helpful in guiding me through the different procedure options available for me, and she helped me to make an informed decision through the financial counselling she provided. Dr Val Phua also took the time to answer my 10001 questions about the different procedures applicable for me. While he did recommend which procedure was the best in terms of long term benefits and considerations , he didn’t try to upsell the procedure to me (something that a lot of people generally fear). I was given full autonomy to decide on my preferred procedure, and I was able to make an informed decision based on the information shared with me by Dr Val and Hazel. Thank you hazel and Dr Val ! Before the procedure, Juliana was thoughtful and considerate in the way she prepared me for the surgery.
