Reviews of Butter & Cream Bakery
first time getting from this bakery, not a marshmallow fan but wow their muffin marshmallow is actually damn good and only 2.90 price. will buy again!
Muffins were extremely fragrant, kept smelling it on the way home in the car.
Had it the next day for breakfast and was surprised that it’s better than other popular muffin stalls like Chocolate&Spice!
The berry muffin was my least favourite. I felt that they shouldn’t put the red saucy thingy on the berry muffin. Firstly, there was a very strong artificial smell and it tasted very artificial too. Secondly, visually it cheapens the look of the muffin. Thirdly, did not taste like common berries (blueberries/strawberries/blackberries/raspberries) was it those cheap canned cherries/cranberry?
Highly do not recommend this flavour. Reminds me of those dried raisins fruit pound cake. Hope owner will look into this. What a waste! Was looking forward to this.
Wanted to try their egg tarts but they only left with the chocolate egg tart which tasted good. Personally I think it’ll be better without the chocolate, somehow this combination don’t work for me. But I Will be back for their egg tarts!
The double chocolate and Oreo chocolate did not disappoint, was very fragrant and smells really good. The two was my favourite flavours and thankfully the sweetness was still acceptable and did not overkill.
Volcano cheese muffin (cheddar cheese): I was hoping for a savoury flavour muffin with strong cheese taste. Sadly couldn’t taste the cheese/saltiness and was slightly sweet. Nonetheless it was still a great muffin as it was moist and delicious as a plain vanilla muffin.
The almond/nuts muffin was awesome too. But annoyed because they added raisins in the muffin oh god. I hope one day god decides to remove this disgusting ingredient from earth lol.
Great batter, muffin was moist and very very fragrant. Total was $13.30, sadly no discount even with Kopitiam card haha
Knew about this bakery from Lau Pa Sat. Tried their bakes at LPS, East Point and Seng Kang. All their bakes are very consistent, tasting exactly the same at every outlet. My fav is choc egg tart! Choc is not over sweet and it compliments the egg custard well. The original egg tart is nice too but I prefer it with choc for more flavour.
I also LOVE their muffins. SO moist and soft. Wowowow. Their doffins are good too - very cakey and dense.
I always try to get their bakes in the evening for buy 5 get 1 free promo hehe.
First purchase today from the newest stall at Sengkang Square. The muffins were really yummy at quite a steal (less than $3 each) - not too sweet with pleasantly crunchy bits atop the berry muffin that I tried. Will return again to try the Hokkaido cheese cake and other tarts!
The egg tart is good! Buttery soft crust with yummy egg custard which is not too sweet
