Reviews of Changi Beach Park
Love this quiet beach (on a week day) and nice views to capture while flights are landing into changi airport.
Not to forget, there are bars and a big food court nearby to get seafood BBQ etc.
Must go!!!
Nice beach park with banks, pavilion, grill places, restrooms, children‘s playground and various parking lots. It is a pity that some people left their garbage on the beach even though there are garbage bins everywhere. That’s why we saw at least 6 rats running around the pave way.
Burying grounds of 1 out 6 mass graves from the Sook Ching Massacre in WW2.
The Japanese looked for anti-Japanese namely Chinese in China town and many who were just disliked. 40,000 - 60,000 were abducted and shot.
Saturday is not crowded.nice place to relax n have a picnic.hawker centre nearby with variety of food.my favourite beach during my tenage days.use to go with my friends with our guitars to practice there in the beach.
An Ok place for fishing. Somehow quite place. Plane flying over is seen less compared to previous times as flight direction is changed. Take rental bike and stroll on the park connector there. Frequency of washroom is less. Beach is not clean. Best time to visit is at evening.
Lovely place to bike for sure. I rode all the way from Area B bike shop - east coast park till changi beach park. 58 km round trip. Took 2 hour plus to complete each side
A relaxing park located at the far east of Singapore. Enjoy the scenary, village lifestyle by seeing the old fishing boat ferrying passenger..
Prominent statue of the Inscription of the island. Is good place for a picnic with family and kids. Must have a car to reach changi village and walking distance to park.
A beautiful park with plenty of shade and cooling sea breeze. Amenities like Changi Village Hawker Centre, clean toilets are a short walk away. The ferry to Pulau Ubin is nearby.
It's breezy & beautiful beach to stroll, bike, play, picnic, etc. Relatively different from East Coast beach, Changi beach is so laid back. There are a lot seagulls flying & gliding on the sky, flock of pigeons, nice large green field, palm trees, trees, a cafe in the park. You can see some boats & their activities at the jetty too. And it's pretty near Changi Village for those who love to explore some culiners
I agree with others that an early morning visit is really a great time to watch the day unfold over the sea and be carried to the shore on platinum tinted waves that burst into gold as they unfurl along the pale sandy beach. In addition, there are paved paths for easy cycling or jogging, plus picnic and bbq areas. Many shade trees or fun sun, your choice.
I would recommend water shoes for wading. I would not swim here, though, as this is a major shipping thoroughfare and oily seas are sometimes an issue. Consider bug repellent as mosquitoes or sand flies are occasionally bothersome.
1. Quiet, remote park.
2. Awesome sunsets.
3. Good views of landing aircrafts.
4. Well connected, 2 bus stands.
5. Small beach.
6. Multiple toilets.
7. Good sunsets.
Amazing place.
Good way to spend national day with family!
Food is nearby.
Toilet is good n clean!
Will surly come again!
Out on a late weekday morning, along the peaceful stretch of Changi Beach Park. Not crowded, with a few families enjoying the beach.
Spotted a Hornbill in the tree, saw 2 otters swimming in the channel.. wow what a day!
Learnt the neighboring island was part of British defense outpost and the site of the changi beach massacre during the Japanese Occupation.. this place is rich in history, yet there is calmness.
Cross the pedestrian bridge to get to changi village and have your nasi lemak! Or to continue onto the coastal walk on the opposite bank. Have a chat with the fishermen on their catch. Just chill…
One of the less crowded beaches in Singapore. Lovely place to soak in the water and watch the planes take off/land just above your head.
Can get crowded, so go early (before 10 am on weekends) to get a good spot under a shady tree.
really nice place to spend a weekend evening. Bring a mat or some camping chairs!
After so many years, the park still allure the young and old.
Sun, sand, sea, flora, fauna, landing aircraft, you name it, it's there and more.
Went for fishing at carpark 7.
Good bites but never caught any. Also the weather was raining and windy. Clean and quiet.
The best beach if you really want to go chill, sit by the sea and watch the passing ships and the landing planes roar above you!! Changi Beach just has a different vibe to it!! :)
A nice and great cost area for walk, cycling and riding. Weather was just nice and there is a bicycle rental shop (including those bike with child seats) just beside carpark 1. After exiting the bicycle shop, we cycled to the left, then u-turn back towards right side all the way and returned in almost 1hr with a few stop-overs for photograph takings.
Best place in Singapore to watch giant airplanes flying above your head.
Always love the simplicity and serenity of this beach. The sky, the sea, sands and ferry boats. Simply refreshing just being there.
Good for photo taking, if planes come this side, enjoy the roar of engines.
Nice, Clean and calm place
Only downside is hard to find cabs and there are no buses on sunday evening.
It was good time I was spending on this park it’s quite and family friendly places.
Lovely place to chill & have picnic with family & friends .. great for a short break away from city & enjoy the nature 🤭😌
Scenic place in the east with nearby Changi village hawker centre. However the rubbish washed up ashore can spoil the scenic view.
Really nice. A good chill out and relax location. Nice beach side cafe, recommend place to watch aircraft landing and taking off from the airport. Plenty of food options at Changi village.
A good place in SG where we can see very closely of many kind of planes from different countries landing
Night walk at Changi Beach.
You still can enjoy the view and picnic, just remember the limited no. of people, safe distancing and put on ur mask. 😊
A great place to spent with family and friends. Got our family here and kids enjoyed time in the water.
Limited parking lot.
Alot of camping. And every minute you can enjoy seeing plane landing 😊
Calm and quiet, you can do your bbq here, carry your food if you are a vegetarian. You can see the planes taking off and landing at a close distance
Less crowded than other parks and you can easily find a place to sit and watch everything unfolding around you. The proximity to the sea means there is a constant breeze to beat the Singapore heat as you watch plane after plane arrive at Changi Airport.
Cool park to spend a day with your family and friends barbecuing and watching aircraft descending for landing. Good beach amenities, but the water is not that clean though.
Best place for Walk, Run or bike riding for family. the park is awesome and evening visit is the best either nice breeze or watch flights landing/takeoffs
Way better then then other parks taking into account less crowd factor! Good place to sit and watch the planes landing too
Good place to chill or workout near the sea.
great place to watch planes. bring your own mat. toilets are fine. I heard weird bells once when i was there at 3 am. the playground is wonderful, lots of places to climb. the trees near the bridge are home to a family of hornbills, you can try to spot them!
A good one for a half day picnic, have some good restaurants. It has got basic facilities like water taps to drink and not bad toilets.. There are cycles shop for rent too !
Nice beach with the views of low flying air traffic. Kids can enjoy either play area or at sandy Beach. Also so many different types of good food joints nearby at changi village within walking distance with low prices compared to other parts of the Singapore.
Nice to be there in late afternoon and evening times. The ferry point to Pulau ubin also close by. Bus services available from changi village bus terminal providing easy access.
Lovely place to go to if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. It's more out of the way compared to East Coast Park, so definitely lesser crowd. It my favorite cycling place when ECP gets a bit crowded.
Of course not forgetting that Changi Hawker Centre and its Nasi Lemak is just around the corner.
A beautiful place to relax and unwind, together with your friends and lovers 😁😁
It's a good place to swim also.
Lovely park, good facilities and a great place to watch the planes come in.
Great place to visit. Tourist free
nice, not crowded. maintenance a bit low on beach, so the beach is a bit dirty which makes u feel natural. different from other beach of singapore.
Nice beach area...very windy day...water relatively clean...
This place is nice to relax and you can also rent a bike here for 1 hour though
Hawker reopened 😊 Can see v much the Oriental pied hornbills in the trees.
One of the best place to spend a lazy evening. Bonus points if you're an aviation enthusiast.
Open flightradar or similar app and enjoy!
This is a great free activity for the family, pack a picnic and sit to watch the boats & people go by.
Great place for a casual walk by the sea... Beautiful sights in the evenings and a great spot to some plane spotting ...
the place is cool and comfortable to relax and have fun it's a good place I like to play here
Nice place to relax and see the little boats, etc.
Nice place to visit in groups. Nice view and clean beach
Nice sea breeze but over crowded and not ideal for swimming since there is lot of teash amd slur on beach. Good for evening walk or cycling.
A place of history and a sleepy side of Singapore that reeks of nostalgia....A lovely place to have a slow stroll by the water on a lazy weekend...
Love it...for walk...ride...or just wander around.... especially in the evening along the beach
Overcrowded and has less to-dos as compared to east coast park, but still, being a beach, it is naturally a great place to chill, cycle, picnic, fish, etc
Bikes are available for rent and you can cycle along the path along the beach. It was a very pleasant park. The sea was beautiful and there were volunteers picking up trash in the morning.
If you want you can rent a bike.
I can cycle very comfortably.
Clean and crystal clear beach.
Because volunteers are picking up trash.
I love this park💚
You can see the plane gradually descending from the distance of the beach, and it is very interesting to feel the plane flying overhead at close range.
Although the weather is hot, it feels very relaxing and relaxing under the shade of the trees with the sea breeze blowing (remember to bring a beach mat).
You can see the inhabited remote island from the opposite shore.
I went there in November 2024, and there were people who seemed to be Malays doing karaoke, and it was very noisy.
In this case, it would have been better to have the music played at high volume.
A trip around Singapore parks. This place felt smaller than I expected, but I'm comparing it to East Coast Park, so please forgive me.
For Japanese people, it is a place with a bit of painful history, but the view of the blue sea and Pulau Ubin will soothe you.
A white parrot was playing. Is it a messenger of happiness? I thought it was a noble bird, so I looked it up and found out that it costs about SGD5,000 for one bird at a pet store, making it a noble and expensive bird. But don't get caught, you'll get caught, so be careful.
This is a park by the sea near Changi Airport. A walk in the cool morning is recommended. Cycling might be good too.
There are very few people, parking is free, and the planes are very close.
