Reviews of Gui Lim drink stall
Chance upon this place some years back for an Ice Coffee and Ice Milo for my kids and have been mine to-go place every time I go to Changi village.
The quality of the drinks has been consistently great.
This hawker stall offers a version of "kopi peng" (iced milk coffee) which I've really enjoyed over the years. Its taste and quality have remained consistent. In my reckoning, this is the best version I've had in our hawker centres and coffee shops. Granted, I've not tried every version that exists on our little island, but I think I've consumed more than my fair share in my lifetime!
The version here is made upon ordering, and, crucially, is indeed a cold cup of coffee. At some stalls, what I've experienced on more than one occasion is that the drink sometimes ends up being lukewarm because too much hot water was used. The version here has a nice creamy coffee taste, is not overly sweet, and even has some chocolatey notes. It's a good and honest and well-rounded cup of kopi peng for $1.40 (small) as of this writing. The owner/hawker is a friendly gentleman as well.
their teh is THE BEST EVER!!!! like HK milk tea style. Strong and smooth. 10/10 would recommend.
