Even with so many options at Ci Yuan Hawker, I keep coming back to Ayam Taliwang’s Nasi Lemak. It’s just too good! The flavors are amazing, and honestly, it’s one of the best nasi lemak dishes I’ve had locally. I enjoy every single bite! Highly recommend trying it if you’re in the area.

Ordered their ayam taliwang which comes with a grilled chicken thigh, fried egg, ikan bilis with peanut and lots of chilli sauce. I love the grilled chicken which was tender and has a nice smokey taste. It was also well seasoned. The ikan bilis and peanuts were very crispy and goes well with the chilli sauce and rice. The chilli sauce is the star of this dish. It was spicy, with slight sweetness and full of flavour. The perfect chilli for nasi lemak. Service is quick and friendly.

This is one of the better nasi lemak around the hood. Ordered Set H - Nasi Lemak Chicken with Mackerel Otah (S$5.60 + S$0.30 Takeaway). Even though I couldn’t take too much spicy stuff, I still couldn’t forgo their sambal chilli as it’s pretty well balanced with spicy and sweet flavours. Rice wise, it was a little too soft/soggy for my liking today but the chicken wing is well marinated. I would suggest ordering this in the morning when the items are hot and freshly made. If you can take spicy food, I would recommend the Ayam Taliwang or Cabe Ijo. It’s more satisfying than the usual nasi lemak. Service wise, I’ve always received good service here. Just got to be patient a little during meal time as they always have huge orders.

Visited on a weekend during lunch hour. As there is no queue, I got my food promptly. All the ingredients were freshly cooked and served hot. Egg freshly fried and slightly gooey yolk. Chicken wings were big. Sambal is balanced with spicy and sweet flavours. Rice is fragrant and fluffy. Nothing to complain about.

Throwback dinner on 08/01/2024 Super nice nasi lemak with crispy chicken wing, egg, sambal, otah and ikan bilis & peanuts. Costs $5.60 only. Rice is super fragrant with the taste of coconut milk and it goes so well with the sambal chili sauce. The chicken wing is crispy and delicious. The otah is quite spicy but it goes well with the rice. Lastly, the ikan bilis & peanuts enhanced the flavours. It is an overall good combination.

Updated in Aug 10,2024 Went to this stall again and the quality of the chicken improved. It was very fresh, tender and juice even though the size is a tiny bit smaller. It was so delicious that I had to buy home for my family. Keep up the good quality 👍🏻 3 months ago:- This stall used to be my favorite place, went last week on Saturday and found the chicken not as fresh as before but still better than many Malay stalls. The coconut rice not as fragrant as before also. Thank God the chilli sauce is still very good. I hope they keep up with their previous quality.

The name tells it all! Ordere Nasi lemak ayam taliwang, through enough the homemade chilli is superb, spicy with taste and unique. The sambal is also obvious that its homemade, traditional taste. Chicken is soft and tender, goes perfectly well with the taliwang sauce. Rice is fragrant, definitely have the pinch of nasi lemak taste. Well package too for takeaway and generous on the sambal.

Had the ayam taliwang set and chicken wing + otah set. Tthe chili got kick sia! So nice and spicy I only ate the chili on the chicken and din even touch the additional chili on the side. Ikan bilis and peanuts crunchy shiok. Rice has nice coconut fragrance. Recommended to try.

If you want the tastiest Nasi lemak, this is the place to be. The char grilled chicken along with various chilli options are unbeatable. Best in Singapore! Highly recommended!

Really liked it.. the rice has got a good lemak flavour (and it's odd to say this because so many nasi lemak stalls these days don't do it like that). I enjoyed the grilled chicken leg too and the chilli packs a nice punch and was a great complement. All in all this must be one of the better nasi lemak stalls in the vicinity.. and I'll go as far as saying that this is better than Punggol Nasi Lemak (without the crazy queues of the latter even!)

I noticed the Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang stall from the car park, and couldn't resist dropping by! I ordered the nasi lemak fillet set, and the coconut rice was good.

I really like this. Ordered the ayam taliwang for 6.90. Portions are generous enough for the price. Chicken is well marinated and the flavors penetrate well. The rice is super fragrant and I spotted a lime leaf in the rice! Interesting. Chilli is punchy and spicy.a good meal.

Waited for 15 min. Guess they have to grill the chicken. Could tell they are understaff. Constant flow of customers. But I rmb the yishun one was much better and nicer. The chicken leg was burnt and the rice was too wet. There is also a chunk of ginger, found in the rice. Cost has also went up, guess this is happening everywhere. I wouldn’t come back again though. Think Yishun one taste better

First review after eating more than 10 times already . Not your typical nasi lemak store . This stall takes pride in serving their great rendition of nasi lemak . Chicken thigh is very tender , and char grilled to finish . Rice is fragrant and importantly warm . 24 hours stall that closes once a week on a monday . This nasi lemak is really solid . Let them know if you don't take spice .

Had the pleasure of tasting the best Nasi Lemak. The rice was delightfully fragrant with a rich coconut aroma that harmoniously paired with the chicken. The latter, marinated to perfection, brought out a tantalizing balance of sweet and spicy from the Sambal. To top it off, the staff were not only friendly but also accountable, ensuring an overall delightful dining experience. Highly recommended.

Hardly walk all the way to the back of the food center to order food. Saw that the stall has a small crowd and decided to try. Ordered the nasi lemak. Waited for about 10 mins on Sunday, 12 noon. Love the nasi. So fragrant and soft it went very well with the chilli paste and runny egg yolk. the chicken and otah is normal. For the nasi, I could say that it is one of the best I ever tried. The table I said at was very windy and cool. Why service only 4 stars. The lady staff could be more friendlier.

Very delectable, delicious, yum-yum Nasi Lemak! The rice & chilli are both flavorous and fragrant. 😍 My fave will be the Grilled Chicken with Green Chilli and Sambalado. You can surely smell the fragrance even if you opt for delivery - which I did and they never fail to cook it perfectly generous portion of rice, big sized chicken which isn't dry, crunchy peanuts and anchovies, non oily fried egg and beancake at the side! Once is never enough, that's my promise to you all. 😋

Gem of a nasi lemak store, good pricing for the amount of ingredients you get, chicken was tender at the right spots whilst being well barbequed on the outside giving it a smokey flavour, not to mention it was a relatively sized. Their rice was fragrant and chewy without being a chore to chew down, topped with a well balanced and deliciously made nasi lemak chili that's reall is the soul of the dish. Their usual fried wing is also crispy on the skin and soft on the meat within without being too dry so i'd recommend trying that too. I didn't plan nor research about this stall prior to ordering and it was purely by chance that i ordered from them, nevertheless this was an absolute delight and i'm glad to have discovered them. I hope they'd never compromise on their food standards in the future as they've set a really good repertoire as of now.

Prepare yourself for this beast of a nasi lemak. Seriously, the sambal here is not for the faint of heart. But good things come to those who persevere, because underneath the initial kick lies the sweet aftertaste from the chillis, combined with the juicy chicken grilled to perfection.
