Reviews of Ranger Station
This ranger station is located quite conveniently Right before the tree top walk area and there are washroom facilities
Also it’s a good place to wait for friends or to take a group pic.
Nice facilities overall and fairly clean for a park toilet
Good resting area with clean toilets. Look out for monkeys who may steal your stuff!
Don't eat there ..you would think there are no macaques nearby ..you are dead wrong.. by the time to think about snacking or biting your snack ..group of them appears and will take what you are eating. So don't eat your snack there.
When natur becomes my best friends, listen the birds singing, monkey looking at you, and the calm wave from the lake, my favorite mc riche reservoir
Please do not bring food here. Teach your children not to stare at them, the macques, do not scream. If they are looking for food and looks like they wanna climb on you, throw your bag aside and let them rummage it. Once they are done they will leave your bag or bags.. if you are seated at the hut, they will come around to see if you are eating. Just stay chill and ignore them. The monkeys are only looking for food.
Toilets and water coolers here to cool down after your hike! Lots of monkeys here hanging around too.
Always a pleasant hike, well sheltered but considered a medium difficulty hike (for Singaporeans).
A good midpoint stop with water coolers, vending machines and toilets for those who need it. The monkeys hanging around are quite a sight, but stay away, don't carry plastic bags as they will assume it's food and they may either follow you or grab it. Monkeys are wild animals so expect that if you taunt them they will bite or scratch. Best to ignore them and move on. Screaming boys/girls (adults included) or children just make a bad situation worse so please exercise some good judgement.
This ranger station is the place to fill up your water bottles, use the bathroom and rest before (and/or after) you traverse the Treetop Walk!
The most important thing to note about this station is there are two free water fountains, good to know where trekking through the humid jungle. There are also toilets and a number of information boards regarding dos and don'ts and species found in the surrounding area.
This station is the last rest point before heading towards Tree Top or Reservoir. Make sure you have a good rest, fill up your water bottle and use the toilet.
One and only rest area with toilet and water cooler facilities in the heart of macrithie reservoir. It is exactly located 4.5km if you are entering the macrithie reservoir trail from anti-clockwise direction and 5.5km if you choose the clockwise direction to start the trail adventure. So don't miss it, otherwise the other place that has such facilities is at centre, at the start point near the carpark area.
This is a Ranger Station at Macritchie Reservoir. People can rest, refill water and go toilet. But careful of monkey if you eat. There is the way to TreeTop Walk near Ranger Station.
This ranger station is strategically situated so that hikers, cross country runners and nature lovers to have their pitstop before continuing their journey of exercises. From the ranger station you can go to the Tree Top Walk, continue to MacRitchie trails or to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. The choice is your. Happy hiking and enjoy the nature everyone. Cheers.
Nice nature walk and the trails were well maintained
A good place to rest on the way to Treetop walk.
While waiting for all the ladies in your troop to get their turn at the stalls, try figuring out the monkeys looking to hone their fine skills of charming you off your delectable treats...
Very beautiful place, amazing nature. Be ready to pass only steps around 30 min! and long walking
We didn't meet the ranger, but made full use of the toilets which were much appreciated.
Very good for hiking.. but usually very crowded on holiday
Good place to taje a breather. Toilets and two water coolers.
Great place to enjoy nature.
Shady and has water point, ideal for hikers and walkers in MacRitchie Reservoir.
A lovely spot in nature. Tree top trail is highly recommended!
my favourite park of the reservoir too bad its closed
Great pit stop location
There's toilet and water cooler here
Hiking trip with family 🙂. We were exhausted but satisfying
Can we escoot to the ranger stations, parked and walk to treetop walk?
Cold water, a washroom, and a map, what more can you need?
ranger station close to uphill hike to treetop
Check point before u-turn or continue to tree top
Nice place for hiking.
Will visit next time
Good place for hiking
Wonderful trail
Great
Rest point
good place
Nice place to rest with toilet and fresh water to refill bottles
Great place for a pit stop: clean toilets, drinking water
The office is located 800 meters in front of the Top of the Tree and has an internal restroom and drinking fountain.
As you are always running out of water while walking, make sure to refill your water bottle with plenty of water and wash your face.
I recommend taking a break for a while.
Excellent ride. Highly recommended. A little while on the subway and suddenly you find yourself touring a national park surrounded by monkeys and squirrels, seeing the tops of the trees from above. It is one of those things that cannot be missed when passing through Singapore.
Jungle in the middle of the city, hanging bridge, thieving monkeys, interesting fruit trees.
Great place for hiking and fitness
Like thank you
