Highly recommend to be served by Eric. He is knowledgeable and patience. Being a beginner, I had asked numerous questions over 3 visits before deciding on canon R8. He is not pushy and gave good advice on lens to be used as well as the camera setting. Items were reasonably priced.

Superb camera shop. They’ve been a 老字号 for a long time and are the best at what they do. Met Eric today, only knowing I wanted a telephoto lens + bag + tripod + phone gimbal, and he was so patient in giving recommendations and suggestions. I’ve bought from them since 2012 and A+ service everytime. Side note, this period there is also a great promo for Tamron lenses with a whole bunch of free gifts, don’t miss out :)

In Singapore for the weekend and was looking for a very specific tripod plus some obscure bits and pieces eg rubber lens hood. Great experience here. There is a large range of equipment at a good price but most importantly a very helpful staff. Eric in particular spent literally hours with me going through the different models and educating me during the process. I was looking for my first "nice" camera and ended up buying a mirrorless canon. Very very happy with the way I was handled. Never felt like anything was pushed onto me but rather that the salesman was genuinely concerned with helping me find the best camera for MY needs. 10/10 would recommend.

You can read all the on-line reviews you want, but if you invest into decent a lens, you want to do so in a shop that lets you try and gives you professional advice. Came in an hour before closing to purchase a mirrorless camera and was greeted by Eric at the door. What followed was one of the most pleasant purchasing experiences I've had in years (notwithstanding the hit to my wallet)! Eric was extremely knowledgeable about the various lenses, accessories and camera bodies I inquired about, and volunteered his candid opinion on their pros and cons without an eye towards upselling or cross-selling, just a pure passion for gear. He was very happy to take out several lenses for me to try and volunteered to demonstrate the features of various bags and straps I was curious about even though I was upfront about only intending to purchase the camera body that day. Prices were also transparent, contrary to the complaints about misleading Carousell listings from the other reviews - their prices are set in advance on a monthly basis and he even candidly showed me the historical months' prices on a stack of pricelists while explaining why the prices went up and down (apparently primarily determined by the rebates they managed to get from the distributors / manufacturers from month-to-month) while he was checking the current price to quote along with the promotional package (e.g. the extra bits and bobs that come with your purchase). I can also understand the futility of trying to keep prices between their primary, physical retail location in sync with listings on a platform like Carousell that is primary designed for C2C (or P2P) rather than B2C commerce, and anyway it would appear they now work around this by including the price validity periods in the listing images. All in all, it was a pleasure to chatting with Eric for almost half an hour, and look forward to my next purchase with them.
