Decent shop selling cakes, pastries and snacks. My favourites are the madeliene, yam cakes and pumpkin cakes (the chili is very spicy and good). For lunch you can go for the Penang Fried Kway Teow which is done very simply but flavourful. It's opposite the staircase leading down to the wet market.

Very very nice and would buy again and the stall owner is very nice and fast service! Also no charge for take away and the food is soooooooo nice I buy it for lunch every day!

Many people don't realise behind all the kuehs, and baked goods, that this stall sells penang char kuay teow. And this is one of the most authentic penang char kuay teow around. If u are a fan of it, you must try.

Nice decent Plate of Penang Char Kway Teow Pumpkin Cake is Fantastic combi with Yam Cake, Shao Bao is Yummielicious, don’t miss Dou Sha Bing as well

Excellent char kway teow - flavourful and fragrant. One of the best I've eaten! The chef has improved his dish over the years! Unlike other food establishments where dishes have dropped in standards, this char kway teow dish at Sweet Bistro has improved! Kudos to the chef!
