I am grateful to Jingke and her team for their patience and dedication to my child. They frequently provide feedback on my child’s development and offer strategies to help me at home as well. Ms. Jingke and all the teachers who helped our daughter C has been very helpful because without their professional support , it will be very challenging for us parents to distiguish what our daughter needs.. Ms.Jing Ke and her team made sure to provide real time feedback and showed us activities that our daughter do in school via photos/videos. Evidently shows that they’re very passionate because they also educate us (Parents) things and techniques that we can use to help our daughter.

We couldn’t have picked a better early intervention centre for my daughter. The therapists, teachers and staff here put much care and attention in making sure the students are in a safe, nurturing and encouraging environment. The place is very clean and they have lots of activities and equipment to enhance the therapy sessions. They also do their best to keep the communication with parents open by sharing detailed updates on how my daughter responds to the daily activities. Highly recommended.

Nathan has been with The Grounds since he was two and a half for almost a year now. We started with an initial assessment with Jingke, who was immediately able to identify the needs of Nathan and make the recommendations. He joined the early intervention program as he was not coping well in a mainstream pre-school, having issues with following instructions and being in his own world. From a boy who was not able to sit still and unable to verbalise much, he is now able to hold a simple conversation and focus on his tasks at hand. He is also now able to demonstrate social skills such as showing care and concern for others including his peers. This is really thanks to the support and efforts of Jing Ke and the great team at The Grounds! The team has also been very accommodating to Nathan’s needs and interests, supporting him in his love of numbers, reading and physical activities. The team has also provided pointers and advice on how to engage Nathan and reinforce key learnings to improve his progress at home, providing a good home and school partnership. Nathan loves going to The Grounds, playing with his friends and learning from the teachers. The facilities in The Grounds are clean, modern and spacious, with a well equipped indoor playground for the children. This prepares him well for moving to a larger classroom setting when he is ready. Jing Ke is also very proactive in providing updates and photos on Nathan’s progress. Nathan has since left at the beginning of this year and transited to a mainstream preschool for K1. He has managed to adapt well, thanks to the preparation at the Grounds where he has learnt skills and the appropriate behaviours for a larger school setting. Thank you to The Grounds and the teachers for everything! We will highly recommend this!

I feel very lucky to have found The Grounds for speech therapy for my daughter. I had seen a number of speech therapists with my daughter without any progress being made and it didn’t seem like the therapists were really understanding how to help my daughter. Jing Ke was exceptional in able to help my daughter to speak with articulation and confidence. I also appreciate that she didn’t insist on coming week after week without making any progress, and gave my daughter a few weeks off when needed to work on what she needed to and to progress further. My daughter also really liked Jing Ke and was able to build a solid rapport with her.

I have switched to a few different ST for my daughter (who has Down Syndrome) for the past few years. The changes are either due to the high fees, location, or it took a few months for my daughter to click with the ST. When recommended to the Grounds by another mum who also has a daughter with Down syndrome, I immediately booked an assessment session with Teacher Jing Ke. The center is not too far from our place and the consultation fee is reasonable compared to some of the other ST whom I think are charging too high. To my surprise, during the assessment session, my daughter clicked right away with Teacher Jing Ke. Whatever words Teacher Jing Ke asked her to copy, she will say them out spontaneously, despite not with a clear articulation. (With previous therapists and with me, it would be like trying to dig out gold from her mouth. If we’re lucky, she would say a word …. once in a blue moon). Teacher Jing Ke was also the first therapist to spot that my daughter has ASD and identified her specific sensory needs. This piece of information has truly shed light on the many questions I had, on why my daughter behaves or acts in certain incomprehensible ways. And so, I decided to sign up with The Grounds. Another thing I’m impressed with is the centre’s cleanliness and child-friendly environment. Even facilities like washroom and hand washing areas are very well-thought/designed and clean. I’m also glad that all therapists and teachers would try their best to teach and manage each child according to the child’s need (…. and mood). My daughter is now working with Teacher Jing Ke for ST, Teacher Zati for OT, and Teacher Dani for intervention programme. I always get updates on my daughter’s activities in class, as well as on her progress. It’s been a year now with the Grounds and my daughter has progressed in her willingness to speak (and more words, too) as well as in her social behaviour. The journey will go on and I believe it’ll be a fruitful one.

I couldn't be happier with the pre-school experience my child had at The Grounds. The teachers and staff were absolutely amazing and always went above and beyond to make sure my child felt welcomed, loved, and supported. From the very first day, I knew my child was in good hands. The pre-school's curriculum was outstanding, and my child was constantly challenged and engaged in various learning activities. They also provided a safe and nurturing environment that allowed my child to develop important social and emotional skills. The facilities at The Grounds were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. They had a range of resources and materials that were accessible to the children, which was impressive. My child enjoyed exploring and learning in the different play areas. In addition, I want to highlight the excellent support and guidance provided by Jing Ke. She is incredibly helpful and professional in addressing any concerns or questions that we had. She was always available to speak with us and provided good advice through message/phone call. I'm grateful for the wonderful memories my child has from The Grounds, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for an exceptional pre-school experience for their child.
