I recently attended a trial Pilates class at Physio Down Under and I was thoroughly impressed with Chloe. Her patience, expertise, and attention to detail made the experience truly exceptional. The centre was clean and inviting which added to the whole awesome experience.
Chloe took the time to explain each exercise, ensuring I understood proper form and technique. Her calm demeanor put me at ease, allowing me to focus on my movements. Chloe provided clear guidance on breathing techniques, helping me connect with my core and engage the right muscles. Her cues and reminders ensured I maintained proper breathing throughout the class.
As a person who does not regularly exercise, Chloe was able to adapt exercises to suit my fitness level, and yet at the same time stretching my abilities a bit with modifications and adjustments as needed.
I would highly recommend this Pilates studio and Chloe to anyone seeking a supportive, challenging, and transformative fitness experience.
Rachel was instrumental to my post-partum recovery. She provided me a very clear and detailed explanation on what was happening and provided solutions that worked v well for me. She was reassuring and I enjoyed and looked forward to my sessions with her. To top it all, the exercises she gave me got me fitter than pre-pregnancy! Thank you Rachel!

I absolutely adore this clinic, it’s clean, small, client focused and the therapists I met are incredible. I have known Monica for long time on a personal level but also professionally as she helped me greatly with my very poor pelvic floor that was never fixed after my last pregnancy. Also, I recently started pilates with Emily to address my lower back problem. I started with one-to-one sessions to understand how pilates works and Emily was very patient and competent, observing closely every move I made to make sure I was aligned correctly and got more confident with the reformer. I then moved to the group reformer classes. I love that the classes are small and you get a very close supervision. Emily has a wonderful personality and approach to pilates, she makes it interesting and challenging, adjusting the exercises to cater for the different issues the students might have. The classes are fun, never dull and hard work! It’s like a little caring family, the results are there and I am becoming addicted!
I am in my 50s and have pelvic floor issues, I was looking for pilates class which target the pelvic area. I wanted to strengthen my pelvic muscles in a natural way (not rely on some machine which is available in the market). So glad I found Physio Downunder. I first started 1-1 pilates class with Instructor Emily who is very patient, experienced and professional. She worked with me to target the weak spots (quite many as I was quite inactive in the past) and always very encouraging. I saw progress after 4-5 sessions - a slimmer waist, more toned body & definitely stronger core & legs.
I have since joined the group class which Emily is still able to give personalised attention as the class size is small. I have continued to benefit from the classes. I look forward to the pilates sessions even though I need to take a 60min drive (to/fro) to the class from home.
Emily suggested that I consult with the clinic’s physiotherapist for my pelvic floor issues, as I was unable to perform
kegel exercises properly. i have been seeing physiotherapist Leah for the last few months. Leah is very experienced and explained my condition (quite a few issues really) in great detail (and with patience too). She has recommended various things I can do to address the conditions. I am super glad to see improvements now ( still a work in progress). I highly recommend people with pelvic floor / urinary incontinence/ chronic constipation issues to consult an experienced physiotherapist in this clinic.
I followed several prenatal pilate sessions in group and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place is modern and clean. The instructor Emily is very dynamic and professional, fun and serious, always a lovely moment to practice pilate and improve.
Due to their success they're even considering to open more slots!

I have been doing Pilates with Sudha for almost 3 yrs and cannot recommend her highly enough. The improvement in both my physical and mental health has been incredible. Every session, Sudha checks in with what areas we both feel need working on so I get the very best out of each session. Her knowledge of Pilates and just how many different moves and exercises one can actually do blows my mind! She frequently switches things up to show me new moves so it never gets boring! Even after years!
My daughter has also worked with Sudha for strength building for hypermobility and we have seen huge improvements! Sudha makes the sessions relaxing, fun and enjoyable, for all ages!
I warmly recommend PHYSIO DOWN UNDER to anyone looking for :
1) Pelvic floor rehab;
2) Pilates in small group classes for core strengthening and posture development;

The physio team is very professional with strong knowledge, very good bedside manners and awareness of a lot of body issues (postnatal, incontinence, diastasis, prolapse…). My experience after my delivery was very good, efficient and with durable results. I had regular consultations with the physiotherapist and a personalized exercise plan to do at home in between. There was an initial assessment as well as regular checks to measure improvement.I recommend the physio team to all new mums as well as men/women with pelvic floor issues.
2) 3) Pilates workout:
I started Pilates to strengthen my core and develop a solid support for my back. I have had a surgery for a slipped disc and maintaining a strong core is critical to avoid any relapse. Since I started Reformer, I have no more back pain, I feel stronger and I would recommend the classes to anyone in the same situation.
It is definitely a great choice for anyone looking for strengthening, alignment, spine stability and whole body workout.
Pilates Reformer classes at Physio Down Under are better than in many other studios I have tried as we are 2 to 5 participants max per class.
This allows the instructor to correct each of us and propose variations/ individual adjustments according to our issues/ injuries. Emily and Suddha are fantastic instructors with deep teaching experience, knowledge of the body and an ability to vary the exercises from one session to another so that we train all groups of muscles (core, arms, legs, glut…) while always stretching and working on balance and alignment.
The team at Physio Down Under is very dynamic, friendly and welcoming. From the physio to the instructors and the receptionists, everyone is professional and caring.
You will be in good hands and see the results for yourself!
Have been going to Physio Down Under after having both my kids. Highly recommend both for physio and Pilates.
Rachel Tang was my physiotherapist and I am happy to share that after 1-2 months worth of sessions with her, I am finally able to manage my symptoms better and am more aware of the lifestyle changes I had to make. She's also very friendly and easy to talk to, I'm glad I was referred to her for physiotherapy. The receptionists are very friendly too
Sudha has been my Pilates instructor for 3 years now. I’d never done pilates before, this is now my favorite form of exercise. My body feels so much stronger and Sudha has the best technique for a full body workout and mindfulness at the same time. Sudha is so attentive to any incorrect body movements throughout our sessions and corrects them. The combination of a hard workout and stretching is just the best.
Physio Down Under deserves way beyond five stars!!!!!

Monica, a Highly skilled professional Physiotherapist, gave me the most THOROUGH investigation , with patience and dedication she carefully explained to me the cause of the discomfot that I have been experiencing for such a long time.
I am so grateful that her aim was to first ensure I understood clearly what is happening with my body and secondly how I can help myself to overcome the challenges and head for a better quality of life.
There is a really GREAT team at Physio Down Under, I highly recommend Them.

I’ve had physio and private Pilates sessions at Physio Down Under and rate both very highly. They’ve really helped me understand my body postpartum and with their guidance I’ve been able to recover quickly and safely.
Really recommend this place! Had a very thorough and detailed examination by Lucie and she was very patient, kind, encouraging and knowledgeable. I didn't feel stupid asking questions and had all my concerns addressed. It was a very safe and open consultation for me to share personal concerns, struggles and insecurities. Every woman who has given birth should book a physio consultation just to better understand their bodies! Thanks for your help Lucie!
