Reviews of A-One Claypot House @ T3 Public
Seriously though aone is an underrated chain restaurant they deserve more customers than the one next door. I think it's because they started with the porridge in mind it's hard to change that perception. Anyway this outlet is really nice and spacious with a view of the rain vortex!! The staff were friendly and the prices of food with fair. We ordered the promotion item abalone porridge only for this week $11.90++ and was pleasantly surprised to find 6 abalones even though baby ones in it.
The best part was that the flower tea is made in house and uses up to 7 ingredients !! The taste is really unique with an increasing sweetness as you drink towards the end of the pot
This A-One at Changi is the signature shop which comes with slightly better decoration and service than its other locations. Good quality ingredient, good selection of menu with claypot porridge and rice, Noddles, sze cha vege and meat. Off peak can try eatigo app for discount
Porridge in a Claypot, it's bubly hot when served, the porridge is smooth and very favorful. Soup of the day is lotus roots with pork and peanuts. One of the best soup ever, but it is kind of small for the price of $7.90
They will serve pickled peanuts, fried fish skins and some small dishes of appetizers when they seated you. this is something I dislike about, it is not free and they are not going to tell you, you will have to ask for the price. if you are not interested, just tell them to take it away.
They suppose to get 5 stars from me, three stars were given because of the tiny soup serving and the hidden cost of the appetizers and the wet napkins. Yes, they charged you for the napkins. $0.30 each.
Super good Chinese food. The clay pot dishes are definitely worth every morsel and dollar
The food was very tasty and the restaurant wasnt very busy which is great as they could accommodate our large group at 6pm. However I suspect they use a lot of MSG. Afterward we were was very thirsty.
