Beware. The photos are deceiving. They put all sets photos and not alacarte. Even the set photo showed 2 drinks but you’ll get only 1. Please put a reasonable and truthful photos in the menu. The ramen noodle is too chewy. The chicken karage and the chicken katsu is way too salty. They need to get it checked for an excessive salt usage. And don’t get me started on with the miso soup. Oh man, it leaves a nasty after taste in my throat. Just plain not nice. Their staffs quite helpful though.

Food is generally good and tasty, really well seasoned and the soup is really good! The set meal is worth (between $16.90 and $21.90 for a hot/cold refillable green tea and a side dish), and the fried cuttlefish is really crispy and nice as well. Good ambience, staff are friendly and service is generally good. Definitely worth coming back again for more :)

Got scammed by their marketing poster. Paid full price ($6.90++) for their okonomiyaki and got something that looks like it belongs on a kids menu. Their poster depicts the okonomiyaki as the same size as a bowl of ramen. Poster did not indicate that it is for illustration purposes only. Food was so-so do check reviews on what is even worth ordering. To ajisen: if you cant fulfil a menu item as depicted dont bother putting it on your menu and especially dont mislead your customers.

We ordered the set meals, which came with a side of your choice and a glass of tea. Initially when our meals arrived, I thought the portions were small, but it turned out to be adequate, perfectly satisfying and delicious. Our teriyake chicken was tender and lean. The restaurant has a cozy feeling. We went at a quiet time (3pm on a Saturday) which made the restaurant feel spacious and the ambience relaxed. It truly is difficult to fault any established Japanese-style restaurant and Ajisen Ramen is no exception. If you want a satisfying meal, come here!

came here for dinner and ordered the signature ajisen ramen with a side of gyoza and the taste is absolutely bombzzz though not as good as the one i had in Japan but hey not expecting these kinds of high standards in Singapore for the price of below $15 count me in !!!

The food has noticeably shrunk in portion. They changed to a smaller bowl to illusion the shrunk in noodle portion. Sadly, the Gyoza size has also reduced in size miserably. Probably will NOT visit Ajisen sooner.

When you have ramen cravings and the nearest neighbourhood only have Ajisen. This is the best place for it. I had the Tontoro ramen set with chicken karage. The tontoro is meat from the pork neck. They are sliced thin and are very tasty with a nice chew. It’s not tough. Goes well with the ramen broth. The broth of Ajisen ramen is also very nice and thick without feeling too “jelak”. Lunch set comes with choice of sides. I had the chicken karage which are served hot and juicy. A perfect combo lunch meal. Recommended to try if you haven’t.

This outlet everytime I come, I always see the tons of empty table at dinner time. No crowds on weekday dinner time when I came yesterday. After ordering, our drinks ramens came within 10mins. Side dishes waited another 5mins. Noodle was just right, I ordered the seafood ramen. The seafood was quite fresh. But the side dish we ordered Gyoza and chicken cutlet, they tasted pretty average.

Place not bad. Food waited abit longer. But still okay. Soup abit salty. Staff wanted to clear the empty glasses only not the plate 1st even though some of us finished the food. They asked to allow help us to clear, and we acknowledged. In the end is clear away glasses. Maybe not enough glasses?
