Reviews of Al Mubin Restaurant - Syed Alwi Road
Ate at Al Mubin restaurant/cafe/coffeeshop nearby to Mustafa Centre. The best are all dishes ordered. Chicken murtabak huge portion, shredded chicken but the gravy given not to my taste. But eat without gravy also tasty.
The Aloo Gobi is spicy with green chilli but cauliflower only 5 PCs, flavourful and thick. Butter chicken not spicy but tasty, thick gravy and best goes with Naan and prata.
Plain naan chewy and prata is crispy. I would like to wolf down more food next round I come. So delicious!!! Happy tummy after eat. Need to walk around at Mustafa Centre to digest 😆
Good service from the staff 👍🏻 Egg Prata and Bandung were delicious but the request for no chilli 🌶️ for our noodles was either forgotten by the kitchen or not relayed maybe I’m not sure. Overall, nice outdoor eatery for supper after shopping. Price is reasonable too as of May 2024
Very high tech ordering. Love the Teh Cino and my mum likes the Teh Halia Si Kosong lol.
Oh ya, forgot to mention I love the Kambing soup here, alot of meat 😋
Good service is definitely! Able to tell that apart from thumb up on service, outstanding standard of cleanliness which is rarely can be seen in other restaurants. There is a lot of different varieties of food!
Food is quite good as we tried the banana prata, but went home drink lot of water as we get thirsty due to the curry. Service I can said is good for some staff. I ask for a glass of hot water as the teh tarik was too sweet being told it chargeable and do note there is a GST charge on top of your foods overall.
No price on the shop front or they won’t tell u directly, u will being told to sit down and look at the menu to find out the price (this is there strategy).
A hall stuff is very kind and friendly. Butter chicken curry is so nice to me. A little expensive due to the location and service.
Good food i like it so much i hope i can come here again!
My friend has been talking about this place whereby their Thosai and chapati are super delicious, POWER!
Here I am with him and another friend to try it out. Ordered one Thosai kosong and one Telor 🍳 Teh O to compliment the Thosai.
First bite and my head automatically nodded with agreement to what my kawan has formerly mentioned. The accompanying kuar or sauces are the best I had tasted thus far!
The Thosai are soft and crispy at most sides. And goes so we'll with the sauces.
Second round is 2 pieces of chapati to go along with beef "kimua". It's so delicious, both the chapati and beef kimua! Wonderful recommendation, the teh O is kinda fragrant too. Had 2 glasses this morning!
They have another outlet at 631 Bedok Reservoir. Will try that out the next time, nearer to my home.
Murtabak combo mix is fabulously good. Lamb shank briyani is soft , tender and well balanced. But $22 is a bit too expensive for a medium plate of rice set.
An open-air Indian Muslim restaurant at the corner of Syed Alwi and Kampong Kapor. Quite busy during peak hours on weekends. Ample eating. Also noted that social distancing is not required here; no stickers were found on the tables or seats. Lack of serving staff, so best to order at the cashier and consume first (then pay). Chicken Biriyani here quite cheap at $7, and tasting reasonably well. Comes with 1 piece of boneless chicken served in a small side plate, and some sweet (mango?) pickles. The Indian rice cracker (Papadum) is also served. Live kitchen at the back, where Dosas are freshly made and sizzling sounds can be constantly heard. Be sure to bring sanitiser as tables may not be very clean, most notably the debit card machine. Very quick and fast-paced. Good experience if you are looking for cheap eats here in Little India.
Like the garlic naan and butter chicken
But the serving is a bit small for the price, $8.50.
Nice little Indian Muslim eatery right in the Little Indian of Singapore. The plain Thosai cost $2 and teh tarik is $1.30.
If you are looking for halal food around little India, so this is the place, located just opposite to Mustafa center, nasi goreng was good, prata was excellent, all big portions at reasonable price.
Delicious Food and near to the Shopping centre was more convenient with quickly gave us the food orders. Boys who doing there better service, while serving the food and beverage.
Niceee fried chicken.
Frenly staff.
Ordered cheese pratas with daal. Asked if it was too spicy for a child and was assured it was not too spicy. They brought me cheese naans and I told them this was incorrect. They did not replace with right item. I accepted the wrong item and that was on me, because then the bill was huge for the small meal which was also way too spicy for a child to eat. Nice view, pity about the service. It serves a lot of tourists, and all I can say is that I live locally in the next block and I won’t be back again.
Newly opened stall, probably about 2 months? A very daring move despite COVID and all, the store nonetheless still opened to weather through these hard times.
What you get is a pandemic-seasoned company that is resilient and hard-working, ever trying to please their customers.
Average street side coffeeshop.
Nice place to have late night snack.
Basically they open all day round.
A lot of streetside parking.
Good selection of Indian Muslim food
We had an amazing time at this restaurant in Little India, Singapore. The milk tea is simply out of this world, and the chicken tikka rice is a must-try. The paratha and complimentary curry exceeded expectations. The staff, especially Mani, greeted us warmly. Being open 24 hours sets this place apart. Overall, a five-star experience. Will definitely return on future visits!
The standard of their teh tarik is just not as good as before… really disappointing. I hope not the case for the other outlets.
Curry fish head is sedap. Veg kailan and omelette is crispy. Food served hot. Will bring my Indian friend next time. Thank you, Abu.
I was sceptical at first, but I tried the lamb/mutton curry with garlic naan. It was awesome 👌 with a slight kick. I also tried the tandoori chicken which wasn't great but good. This was the branch across from Mustafa centre.
24 hrs open. good food reasonable price and good service. actually found this when i got lost past midnight 😂 anyway good find
They said its open 24 hours. I went there at 11 pm and they still have many visitors. I tried cheaper course like chicken biryani and martabak, the tastes were good.
the drinks here so nice, try it if you are tired walking around this area.
the waiter so effiecient and treat you like friend.
The food was toooo yummy too delicious as always. Cannot find the same taste anywhere else in Singapore. But the service according I think should improve. Plates and Bowls must be clean properly. Otherwise all ok.
Great spot overlooking the intersection at Mustafa shopping mall. Food of good quality and fair prices. Chicken tikka masala with naan’s is a favourite. The young patron is very friendly and efficient. Good value overall!
The butter chicken is the best I've ever tasted, better than any restaurant in the east side of Singapore. The naan is freshly baked , white and soft like a dream, the butter chicken sauce is slightly sweet, creamy and just… AMAZING
Food is nice but can wait long for the food
Excellent selections of tasty foods. Murtabak huge and exceptional. Rice and noodle dishes very good. Prices are fair. Our go to breakfast outlet.
Excellent service. Place was kept clean. Have many variety of dishes to choose from menu. Food was ordered and served fast. Food was very nice. Keep up the gd work👍👍👍👍👍
An Indian restaurant in front of Mustafa.
24-hour open and friendly staff are good!
Non aircon restaurant. Food and drinks are AWESOME. Fast service
I eat dosa here late nights, taste is good.
Coconut water tends to be out of stock.... Overall nice restaurant
I love the gravy. Rich in thickness. Chutney is also awesome. Goes well with the dish ordered.
Had the magee goreng... it was good for a heart attack. Nevertheless compensated with some decent chapati chapati teh Halia.
Great late night place. Service isn't high class or prompt but if you need late night food and drinks definitely recommended
Amazing and well cooked.. Much enjoyed the food... Well recommended
My go to place for thosai. Consistently crisp and thin, they never fail to satisfy.
Never improve customer service other then tat food was great
very delicious
Halal restaurant that sells various kinds of Indian menus.
4 days in Singapore, 2x dinner here.
maybe all menus with rice, the portions are jumbo. This means we only need to eat once a day.
lots of menu choices, I've tried salted fish fried rice, chicken Malay and tomyam. I think the taste of their food will also suit the Indonesian tongue.
Al Mubin's location is right at a crossroads, opposite the Mustafa Center, so this place will always be busy.
Fast service, prices are still affordable, with large portions of course.
It seems like one day I can travel to Singapore again...I have to go back to Al Mubin again to try other menus that I haven't had the chance to try yet.
One of the favorite places to eat in the area around Mustafa Center. It tastes delicious, the portions are large, the service is fast and Halal
Come find something to eat at night.
The food is delicious, but the employees have an irritating attitude. Do everything poorly and look delayed.
Before coming to pick up the order Until I save money Very slow.
Little India is a good choice for late-night snacks. There are still many people at night, and there are many types of Indian food. It is considered delicious.
Price wise, they are located in prime locations and popular tourist areas. Of course, the price may be slightly higher than in hawker centers. But they make up for it with bigger portions.
One of the halal restaurants in the Mustofa area and the menu choices are very large
If the price is relative... the chicken biryani rice is also delicious, the spices really taste
Very good better chicken and mango lassi. The place was full of people, but the ordered dishes were delivered quickly. Possibility to pay by card. I recommend
The restaurant located in the Little India area mainly provides North Indian cuisine. I ordered masala tea and longan ice, and paired it with Indian pancakes and honey. It was very delicious. I also ordered curry with naan, which was very delicious.
Lots of choice on the menu!! Not just Indian food.
We loved the food, it was really good.
The staff was incredible. The guy who served us was extremely polite and friendly.
Thank you very much.
Very good price-quality ratio!
I recommend.
