Reviews of AMK 722 Food House
Yes, we revisited his western food stall, we ordered the Grilled Tiger Prawn Italian sausage spaghetti(again) and Mushroom Chicken with Alio Pasta. Yummy and value for money, we will go and try out other dishes.
Just realized here got famous signature curry chicken and prawn noodle after ordered this breakfast set. Anyhow, taste was good just a little bit pricey - $3.60 vs usual price $2.80-3.20 at kopitiam without the aircond in SG
Seems different from from the old Tip ToP curry puff, although I note from below reviews that it is opened by the original boss.
-flavour is acceptable. Quite heavy Indian spices inside with a generous fillings but not much chicken
-crust is what is lacking, it doesn’t have that buttery crust or the alternative crispy shell.
Hence hope they refine it further.
new food stall 煲仔king just opened last month. Try the hotplate noodle taste soso nia about 3/5
Spoke to friendly boss at Toa Payoh. Happy to see his shop re open at original location!
My favourite curry puff is the curry potato I think there's chicken inside
The filling is a little dry which allows the aroma of the spices to come through
The crust has just the right bite
Perfect as a snack or take 2 for a light meal
Other versions are sardine and yam with gingko
There is a store here selling signature curry chicken. The curry chicken, sambal chicken and curry tong tau foo is very nice. Hard to find nice local traditional curry nowadays, but this store has it. Thumbs up.
Typical kopitiam with standard food offerings. Sadly, my favourite mee rebus stall and the halal curry puff stall are gone. I just settled for the toasted kaya bread with soft-boiled eggs & coffee for my b'fast...
Good deal, $10 for half KG.
Enjoyed the freshly made curry puffs, with generous chicken fillings and strong curry spices.
Went there but close on Thursday (rest Thursday) can't find their business hour so make a waste trip.
Ample seats available with many stores to chose from.
Not enough food options.
