J. F.Chanced upon this asam tree outlet today.
2 of us, sharing a plate of nasi padang for breakfast.
We had:
1. Fried rice - okie.
2. Beef rendang - tender. Shiok.
3. Bergadil - with the chilli, damn shiok.
4. Sayur Cabbage - okie
5. Fried Tofu, thai style i believe - okie. W the chilli, became more shiok.
We took the nasi padang blachan and the redder one.. ON POINT. So good the chillis..
A. C.Is a delightful experience that brings together rich flavors and cultural traditions. Making it delicious! Will come back again!
L. L.Just had late lunch due to the nearby hawker centre being closed for a few days.
Standard of food is about same as those sold in mrt stations. But at a different price point.
2 stars for the black pepper chicken rice. The soup was as salty as sea water. The quarter chicken was refried to a shade darker than fast food chicken, and then tossed with the black pepper sauce.
3 stars as the ice coffee saved the meal.
J. L.Nice Nasi Padang. $5 for 3 sides and a generous portion. Mee siam is not bad $3. Nasi Lemak is not bad too at $3. Usually crowded and full during lunch time. The chicken rice stall is no longer there as of 29 December 2016.
D.Average food that's slightly pricier than surrounding Muslim food. But I like their coffee. Staff can get impatient during peak hours.
Busy but Generally can find seat during peak hours.

A. Y.Mediocre nasi padang. Not very flavorful sambal sotong, bergerdil, and lady fingers among others. Gets the job done if you need a quick meal, but don't expect much.
J.Front counter staff is a vietnamese girl and she does not even understand english and mandarin at all so it takes her a long time to get me the right order. It is a waste of time for me. Pls employ someone who understand basic english or mandarin if he or she will to be in frontline.
