Reviews of BAKALAKI Greek Taverna
Food was outstanding. Would recommend the meat platter (mainly lamb) and the moussaka (which is a eggplant + meat baked casserole). Every piece of meat was really flavourful, juicy, and well cooked. So much meat for a dish that's meant for 2!! I don't eat lamb but lamb here was an exception - there was no smell/strong taste to it. Lamb skewers were really tender. Grilled octopus was nicely charred. Moussaka was really nice. Pan fried feta cheese was sweet and savoury, with a crispy sesame and honey crust. First time having baklava and having a sweet tooth, I really liked this. The flaky buttery pastry and crunchy chopped nuts paired really well with the rich vanilla ice cream. Would highly recommend! Will return for sure.
The service staff was quite cold and rude and didn’t smile at us, but seemed more amiable and were full of smiles towards tables with groups of caucasians.
Asked for a spare chair beside us to put our bags but was told it was a “full house”. After dining, the spare chair was still there and there was no one sitting beside us. Couldn’t get the attention to pay the bill as well.
The food was really delicious. Ordered the hummus dip with peta bread, octopus and greek salad.
The octopus was delicious, I feel like it is a must have, it was well seasoned and soft but the tips are crunchy.
The greens in the greek salad were really fresh and the feta and olive oil blended the flavours well together.
The hummus was really creamy and the bits of crispy sea salt and herbs made it really addicting to eat with the pita bread.
Toilet was also very clean.
The place is inaccessible if you don’t have a car.
Overall I feel if you can overlook the terrible service or are caucasian or look rich enough that they think it is worth serving you, you will have a great experience here. :)
Bakalaki serves Greek cuisine as its name suggests. Located at Martin Place, near Robertson Quay. Been loving Greek food lately for its rich yet clean taste, with the last place I’ve been to being Blu Kouzina at Dempsey Hill.
Have to say the food here exceeded my expectations. The triple dip that we had - spicy feta, hummus, and fish roe dips - were all creamy and decadent. Lamb chop was nicely grilled, and potatoes that accompanied the meat was crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. The beef, while a little bit on the dry and tough side, was nicely marinated.
Ended the meal with Greek dough balls and Greek yoghurt ice cream and chocolate ice cream.
Bill was surprisingly not too expensive, with all the dishes ending below 150 for 2 pax. Would definitely come again.
Solid recommendation for upscale Greek food in Singapore! The space is HUGE and perfect for get togethers. On to the food: Their hummus is delicious— creamy, nutty and tangy and most importantly not too salty. Moussakas have pleasant cloud-like texture, very comforting. The beef skewers are phenomenal, definitely a must try. Seafood is great too.
What I recommend:
What we ordered:
🌟Pita ($3.90++)
🌟Hummus ($16.90++)
🌟Moussakas ($29.90++)
🌟Xiphias ($37.90++)
🌟Kalamaki Merida Beef Skewers ($30.90++)
Confident recommendation 👌
1st-time dining at Bakalaki. The food we had were delicious but I liked the desserts (didn't take photos) better because I am a sweet person.😂
Grilled whole fish, grilled feta cheese, beef oyster blade were items I had enjoyed the most. Will visit Bakalaki again.
Previously visited this restaurant 4 years ago so visited again today. Fish is little high price but the flavour is very tasty. Next grilled platter beef is good but lamb has strong smell 🥹🥹.. and starter platter contain baba gounsh is nice and that grape leaf rice is super . But ther is a cheese mix tat too strong sheep 🐑 smell 🥹🥹 . Overall first time I failed with my teammates to recommending this restaurant.. staffs are very nice and friendly
Service was quite cold and not very responsive despite being mostly empty. We started with the Pita Bread ($3.90) and Tyrokafteri dip ($16.90), which was okay but I prefer the more typical Tzatziki dip that I’ve tasted elsewhere. We also got the Moussaka ($29.90) that was mostly eggplant and not much meat. Not as good as I hoped for. The best thing was the Htapodi - i.e., Grilled Octopus ($37.90). The Kalamaki Merida - Beef Skewers ($28.90) was nothing to shout about. Overall, I don’t see myself returning as there are many better Greek food options around.
The meat platter is salty. I never tasted Greek food, but this is over my sodium limit.
We give feedback to the staff that the food is salty. One of them answered "is this your first time here? All these years, we never changed the recipe" WOW!!! what an answer 🙄. Well, it is my bad that I've never tried Mediterranean food. Just a coincidence, I have a friend from KL visit SG, so we have a meet-up.
Of all the food we tried, the grilled octopus (htapodi) is nice. It looks like Ursula lost one of her tentacles 😅
If you want to try something new, you can give it a shot. After, if you need to cleanse the salty taste, you can hop over to Commonman next door for some roasted coffee and dessert 😜
I loved everything about this place -food, service, quality and ambience.
My colleagues and I walked in during dinner time and fortunately they were able to get us a table. The service was quick and friendly.
My recommendation would be to get the meat platter and the octopus. Everything was excellently seasoned, well cooked and delicious, even the olive oil on the table!!! We ordered the baklava for dessert but loukoumades were on the house which came as a really nice surprise and I preferred it to the baklava. Price is definitely on the higher end but everything was so worth it.
Excellent food and service. The service staff CY and Sat were very friendly and informative. Came to celebrate my dad's birthday, and subsequently Father's Day. Particularly loved the grilled lamb chops (paidakia)-on both occasions, this was voted everyone's fave even though my mum doesn't even usually like lamb or beef! The stuffed tomatoes and green peppers was also awesome-was told that it is a popular dish especially in this season. The dolmades was interesting, but hehe, it will likely be an acquired taste for many. Slow cooked beef was also awesome, very generous with their meats. The grilled fish (tried the bream) and octopus was not bad too-fish is fresh.
Food , ambience and service are excellent.
Lamb chop , meat platter tasted great.
Special thanks to Paul for the food recommendations and the service.
Been here a couple of times. Just good service, good food, no nonsense kind of restaurant. Will revisit!
Good recipes, especially Greek Yogurt Ice creams would be recommended.
Breads are supper nice with sauces.
Celebrated a friend birthday here and the staff was quite helpful. We were introduced to a good spread. Wasn’t expecting the food to be good in this type of cafe but was pleasantly surprised of the meat quality and portion. Slightly on the salty side but acceptable. Overall, would come back again.
Came here multiple times including the one at the old location. Also recommended and brought my friends, colleagues here many times! Loved the food, ambience and service! Just so good! This time my friends and I came here to celebrate birthday and the bar manager treated us to complimentary alcohol and gave a small bottle of olive oil (we also purchased a big one!). Their olive oil tastes so gooooooood! The dessert was complimentary as well. I love the fish, octopus and vegetables the best!
Had the meat platter. Very tender lamb chops. Nice chocolate ice cream! Thank you to the friendly and welcoming staff ❤️
Fresh and Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and friendly service. We had a Wonderful night! Thanks!
We loved the food and the service really made our whole experience so much better! CY served our table and provided excellent food and drink recommendations (the Sloe Gin Fizz is a must-try!), and checked in regularly to ensure the food and drinks were to our liking. Would definitely come back again!
Really good place for a night out and some traditional Greek cuisine. The lamb chops were good but not that meaty and tender. The atmosphere was beautiful and pleasant.
Like and follow for more amazing places to see and visit around the World.
Nice ambience with interesting straw hat lamp shades at counter seats. Lamb chops are juicy and tender, octopus leg cooked with just right amount of seasoning. Its my new favourite greek restaurant.
Came here with my friends one evening without a reservation and we were lucky to get seats. Once seated we ordered and the food arrived soon after.
We ordered the seafood platter which had 400 grams of octopus and squid. The grilled octopus was over done, thus being rather rubbery. The salad and the meatballs were nice - and the eggplant appetiser was also decent. Price was on the high side.
Overall place was alright.
First time here and was impressed by the interior, nice work! Had a meat platter (which was still quite a bit for 4 guys), the lamb rack was really fantastic. Grilled octopus was not too bad either. However, really enjoyed the dessert which was a baklava. Service was ok. The place gets packed quick, so will recommend making reservations in advance.
Very authentic Greek food. Dips were delicious and tasted great with the pita breads. Seafood platter was stunning! Although the fish didn't really stand out, the octopus was perfectly charred and the calamari were extremely crispy and fresh. The prawns were gigantic and bursting with flavour. Lamb chops were good also.
Food-wise, there were some hits and misses but I think the lamb chops and grilled octopus warrant a special mention. I’m actually glad that one of the servers cautioned us from over-ordering due to the huge portions.
While the food is good but not particularly amazing, the ambience is just incredible. You literally feel like you’ve been transported to somewhere in the Mediterranean. I can understand why the restaurant is always fully booked. Great place to have a nice relaxing meal with friends or family.
A return to the restaurant after some years. Believe the staff do make a difference beside the food.
Patience while taking orders, explain the menu to my friend. We avoid order two fish dishes when the staff highlight.
Food is good for the price and service rendered which we have enjoyed.
Recalled some years ago, it is the staff whom made an impression and I seconded the place when friends suggested to dine in the area
Went for dinner with work colleagues…nice new space and lots of seating. Love going here but it is expensive so be prepared. Service is good and food is good too. This time we got Halloumi and it was covered with honey which was new & strange. I didn’t particularly like this sort of preparation but it was a nice change from the normal fried & greasy preparation. The grilled fish was a little fishy (not super fresh) but good. The grilled octopus was my favorite super tasty & the lemon citrus sauce to go with it was perfect. The grilled meat platter has a lot of meat and the steak & lamb chops were the best. The minced kebab meat had a weird texture but flavorful. Their hummus is really good too and pita bread of course is fresh and good. We were a little disappointed with the oil that was on the table as it was pretty rancid. They did replace our bottle but I’m sure the rancid one wax just given to another table. This is one of the best Greek places to go to in SG. It’s not 5 stars but pretty good.
🍜 Food wise: One of the restaurants that I will definitely return for another round. The lamb and potatoes are prepared so well, no stench from the lamb and the potatoes are well seasoned and cooked. The kebab and octopus is good, very fragrant tender meats and chewy octopus leg.
✨ Ambience wise: Definitely good enough for a date, it gave a little getaway feel.
🤵🏻 Service wise: They introduced to us the best foods, really patient people and they do know their menu.
💵 Price wise: Slightly pricey but worth it!
Food is awesome with decent portion. Nice environment. Grilled whole fish is highly recommend, I will order the whole fish just for myself next time, it's more than awesome.
Fried anchovies - I don't normally eat fried food, but this one is like home made. Every single anchovies is clean and well prepared. Perfect for group sharing.
Baked Fata cheese with honey and sesame - unexpectedly great. Even for people who can't handle fata cheese.
The one thing need to improve is the service. The staff has nothing to do with friendly, showing cold face like robot. They put wrong takeaway food to our table, and we tried so hard to get their attention to take it from our table. Of course, No apologize. Everyone looks so busy, but not well structured and not showing good team work.
Anyway, food is awesome so never mind about the rude service.
Great service with amazing food. Ordered the white cod fish roe dip with pita bread to go alongside and the portion of the dip was really quite a lot (I recommend getting only one dip if you're there with 2-3 pax). The dip was really good!! For mains we ordered the lamb rack and the grilled octopus (both of which are must gets at this restaurant). The lamb was cooked extremely well with none of the usual gaminess found and was perfectly done to the rareness we requested for. The grilled octopus was a little too charred for my liking but that is really my only small qualm with it, other than that it is a must order dish!! The cod fish was good but you can give it a pass as another order of the mains would be way better. Service staff was attentive and friendly!! Remember to reserve your table early in advance as this place is extremely popular.
Outstanding Greek restaurant with amazing food, beautiful decor, lovely ambience and impeccable service.
All thumbs up recommendations:
Dips: Tzatziki (Greek Yoghurt) and Hummus + Pita Bread
Salads: Horiatiki (Greek Salad)
Appetisers: Gavros (crispy fried anchovies), Keftedes (beef meatballs with mint & lemon)
Mains: Htapodi (Grilled Octopus), Paidakia (Grilled Lamp Chops)
Dessert: Pagoto (Greek Yoghurt Ice Cream)
Things I didnt like due to personal preference:
Dips: Melizanosalata Agioritiki (smokey egg plant spread)
Be prepared to be blown away when you dine here. Always make a reservation, least you have to takeaway and dine under the sun or moon.
Parking is available at the 22 Martin Road building or M Social Hotel.
Great overall dining experience. Food had a genuine greek taste. Service, with even i think the owners or managers attending to you personally was impeccable. It made it feel like you were eating in a local family owned resto. The ambiance was a nice festive one as well. Will definitely go back!
It's always an amazing dining experience. They probably offer the best Greek dishes in SG. Love their lamb chops, dips, grilled fishes, salad, and wine selection.
We fell in love with this restaurant from their previous location in Tiong Bahru. They may be farther now from the common public transportation, but their place is way bigger already. We can't leave SG without dining in here.
*Personally, the only part of the menu that I'm not dying for is their desserts.
Bakalaki is one of my favorite restaurant in Singapore. They have the best food and service. The staff is so friendly and pleasant. always attentive and here to help. The food is authentic, full of flavors and very tasty. Their new location in Martin Road is beautiful. Big restaurant with a nice mediteranean feel, music and decoration. The grilled octopus and the baked feta in honey are winners ! You won't be disappointed !
Amazing Greek food here! The octopus was lovely - both in flavour and texture. Tried the moussaka too, which was like a lasagna made with eggplant instead. Service staff was nice and friendly as well, knowledgable on the menu options and could make good recommendations. There was also a dessert which was off the menu - a custard Baklava, which we devoured even though I don’t exactly have a sweet tooth. Would love to be back to try more dishes!
Attendant was giving us (party of 2) the counter on a Sunday.. at 5PM.. where there were a ton of empty seats inside and alfresco. It wasnt not peak hours, I insisted for a table and when we went further in, et voila there were 20 or 30 over tables that were empty. We ate and left with a distateful experience. And even after we left at almost 7PM, there were still a lot of available tables. They should consider all aspects of customer experience including offering better seats whenever it’s possible. I hope this is not a case of discrimination, we are not Westerners nor locals where there are a lot of them are their customers at that time
Been here multiple times and we always end up ordering the same few dishes. The grilled octopus and lamb chops are must-haves, dips are great too. Prices are reasonable.
Can't help but find the food quality has somewhat deteriorated. We ordered our usual octopus leg but for some reason it felt like it was formerly frozen and the texture just felt mushy.
The waiters now carry a sense of pride when serving. They will look impatient when you ask too many questions.
So in summary I don't think it's worth paying that kind of money.
Lovely spacious (and busy) restaurant, great attentive service, and delicious food that brought us back to Greece.
- Lamb chops were to me the star - not gamey and very well cooked to medium rare/medium
- Octopus was also very tender and well seasoned
Very difficult to secure a reservation if you’re just 2 pax, so try to round up at least 4-5 people. The food is very good. The meat platter is meant for 2-3 pax but honestly it’s quite sizable (comes with fries). Only tried their cod roe dip and tzatziki dip before. Grilled Octopus is SO tender, calamari is also tender even though it’s fried. Love the lamb chops. Wouldn’t order the anchovies again, personal preference. Their dessert is so sweet. Both times we visited, they offered us a free shot/dessert. Thankful! Very good service by the service staff who are very knowledgeable.
This time round, the host ordered the meat platter, and it was a bit disappointing. Other dishes were great, we enjoyed it very much.
Loved having dinner here. Food, service, atmosphere all fantastic. Wayne was a great server who recommended some signature dishes - codfish roe was my fav. Octopus was well cooked and kebab was also unique but perfectly cooked.
The breads were well done and dips fantastic. The calamari is very crispy and light. The fried anchovies were on the bland side though.
The meat platter was really good but could have used alot more dip and less salt.
But on the whole, this is definitely a good experience and will recommend it to anyone who wants to try Greek food.
Great Mediterranean food in central Singapore. First visit was 2019 and a recent visit was on a friday evening in Apr 2022. The interior is modern with seaside influence. There are indoor air conditioned and outdoor tables, a central bar is overlooking the open kitchen. Food turned out to be great, but it also depends on what you ordered. The grilled lamb (Paidakia) was juicy even at medium doneness. Our grilled octopus (Htapodi) was great and popular, jumbo prawn (Garides) was fresh and good for sharing. Spinach pastry (Spanakopita) tasted great but pan fried feta (Feta Saganaki) was average. The Baklava was too sweet, Hypnos cocktail tasted like liquorice and we actually liked it. Service crews and bar crew were attentive and helpful, we received great hospitality. Overall recommended.
Loved the lamb chops and especially the grilled octopus! Taramosalata dip was really good with the pita bread and the feta cheese was another surprise. The service staff was really friendly too which surprised me as over the phone call it didn’t sound too good lol.
I’ll be back for sure though. Good to see this particular spot of Tiong Bahru finally thriving again.
We had an amazing dinner at Bakalaki celebrating our birthdays! Zaki was the friendliest and most patient staff who welcomed us, recommended food and drinks, and showed us around the retail section. His dedication to providing quality service was evident and he had very good knowledge about the restaurant. Food was great - we really liked how flavourful the taramosalata (white cod roe dip) was! We especially appreciated the birthday mosaiko & rosé!
I was excited to try! But moderate your expectations :-)
Overall: lamb chops was the best! (Pictured)
Also, the octopus is worth trying - delicious and succulent and perfectly cooked.
A few dislikes:
- Moussaka was overly salted for my taste!
- vanilla ice cream with mastic was… an “acquired taste” — very unusual! Personally, would not recommend it.
- super noisy, difficult to hear ppl! :’( but if that doesn’t bother you, you may enjoy the evening vibes!
Food was well worth the price. The ambiance was immaculate!! Very authentic greek cuisine. Booked this place in advance for a birthday celebration and got a galaktoboureko on the house :) I especially liked the beef mousaka!! Make sure u order some pita bread to go with it. The greek coffee was interesting but it was way too powdery at the end. Props to the waiter in charge of our table, he has a lot of sense! :) i enjoyed my time thoroughly and highly recommend this place !!
The food here are surprisingly quite good and delicious. Most of the dishes that I ordered turned out to be quite good.
The staff are friendly and helpful as well.
The place is also quite crowded but I am glad that they take reservations.
I highly recommend this place. (but it's is not cheap though)
Love the vibes of this place. Very vibrant and great food. Lamb chop was amazing and Greek yoghurt was good as usual.
This place is definitely a hidden gem that I would see myself visiting again! The foods are bursting with flavours from the herbs and spices used. One must order dish is definitely the Greek’s national dish, moussaka! It was a creamy goodness of eggplants, tomatoes and bechamel🥰
Recommended by a friend and visited during Friday lunch time. We particularly liked the octopus - tender and full of flavor. There are some other dishes in the menu that we want to try so will definitely visit again.
Winner for me : lamb chops, squid, moussaka, and the Greek salad. Enjoyed the dips but nothing special. Desserts were alright. Their ice creams were good but the mastic ice cream (which is a herb unique to a Greek island) is not for me.
Such a treat to be back at Bakalaki again, definitely need to come back here again soon.
And the desserts were absolutely delicious!!!
The mixed meat platter was advertised for 3. We were a table of 7 and struggled to finish it.
The red meats were all medium rare and was so soft to bite into, each mouthful just bursting with flavour!
The marinated octopus was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Definitely a MUST TRY when you come here!
Don’t usually go to a Greek restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended by our friends and it did not disappoint.
My husband & I decided to come earlier before our dinner appt to have a couple of drinks. The staff were very accommodating & helpful.
Started with a German beer (pilsener), light & easy to drink.
We ordered a few sharing plates to share between us and our friends. Basic geek salad, love the olives they used. I believe it’s the same olives that they are retailing. Dolmades is light in flavour and good. We love the pita bread which were light and fluffy.
Spanakopita has a beautiful buttery filo pastry😋. The grill octopus was amazing. A must to try. The shared meat platter varieties were good and you have a choice of how you would like the meat to be cooked. Everything goes very well with the Shiraz that we ended up having a few bottles. 😅
The restaurant is very spacious which we wouldn’t have known by looking from the outside. Beautiful atmosphere and the staff very welcoming and friendly. We are definitely coming back again.
“Service was spot on and accommodating to requests”
Been frequenting this place for awhile and it has never let down, can’t really go wrong with good food and service.
Special mention goes to the lamb chops and octopus (fried and grilled), both of which are staples each time I go.
Overall service and food were great! Recommend!
- 3 Dip Platter: Tzatziki (really light and refreshing cucumber yoghurt dip), Melitzanosalata Agioritiki (heavy but tasty spicy eggplant dip), Taramosalata (a little salty as it’s a cod roe dip); overall, loved the combination of dips and would definitely recommend all 3!
- Pita Bread: Went very well with the dips
- House Bread: Went very well with the dips
- Paidakia: The lamb chops and potatoes were above average; yummy but not life changing. Loved the seasoning on the potatoes.
- Htapodi: The seasoning of the octopus was really tasty! Not the most tender octopus I’ve had, but still good.
- Moussaka: Yummy but a tad too much eggplant!
Bakalaki Greek Tavern is an authentic Greek restaurant located in the heart of Singapore that truly transports you to Greece with its rustic interior and traditional Greek cuisine. I visited this restaurant with high expectations and was not disappointed at all.
The moussakas was the highlight of the meal for me. It was perfectly baked and had layers of tender eggplant, savory minced meat, and creamy béchamel sauce. The flavors blended together so well, making it a truly satisfying dish. The portion was generous, and I found myself wanting to savor every last bite.
Next, I tried the htapodi, which is a traditional Greek dish made with grilled octopus. The octopus was cooked to perfection and had a smoky flavor that was accentuated by the olive oil and lemon dressing. It was served with a side of crispy fries that complemented the dish well.
Lastly, I tried the chicken souvlaki, which was equally impressive. The chicken was tender and well-marinated with Greek herbs and spices, giving it a unique and delicious flavor. It was served with a side of tzatziki and pita bread, which made for a perfect combination.
Overall, the food at Bakalaki Greek Tavern was fantastic, and I would highly recommend trying the moussakas, htapodi, and chicken souvlaki. The service was also top-notch, and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes from their extensive menu!
Perfect evening with family. Busy restaurant so you have to make a reservation. Went earlier to avoid crowd. The staff is knowledgable and recommended what to try.
The lamb chops (paidakia) and beef skewers (kalamaki merida) were done to perfection!!! Juicy and tender! Must try!! For seafood lovers, the xiphias (sword fish skewers) were so lovely!!! I also loved the gavros (fried anchovies fillets) and Taramosalata (white cod roe dip). The egg plant dip, spanakopita and Halloumi were nice. Too much food and didn't have space for desserts! Will be back next time for more!
Served authentic Greek food and wine.
My first time tasting Greek food but my friend told me the taste is authentic.
We ordered in sharing portion.
Especially recommended is the grill squid. Grilled just right with the chewy textile but easy on bite.
No doubt this is the Best Greek restaurant in Singapore.
Ordered the Greek salad, grilled Jumbo Tiger Prawn, Tzatziki ,Pita Bread, Lamb & Beef Kebab.
Salad was fresh and lovely.
The meat dishes were juicy and succulent.
Finish off the meal with the greek yogurt for dessert. It is highly recommended!
Not only good dishes but Awesome service crew.
Delicious Greek food and reasonably priced too. We live almost everything on the menu. Friendly and awesome service ❤️
Dined in on a weekend with reservation, restaurant was bustling and packed! The food was really good: The Feta Saganani & grilled chicken with fries stood out.
Our friends brought their own wine, with a corkage fee of $30 per bottle.
Service was good hence 3 stars. But the food is far too salty. Hummus was salty but acceptable when paired with pita bread. The meat platter was far too salty. Dessert was good though!
Good food. Wonderful ambience! Such a spacious place and energetic vibe! Food portion is huge so be prepared to share!
Nice ambience and food. Very professional and warm service by Aravin. Topped up our drinks periodically and recommended the signature drinks and food with such finesse.
Fantastic host. He gave us a complimentary chocolate ice cream at the end!
Food was great. The meat dish was the piece de resistance. The variety of dips were also well made.
Excellent place! Great food and superb service. Not an octopus person but I had quite a bit of the grilled octopus. The lamb is heavenly and will highly recommend it. Overall a great experience on a date night out. Cheers and thumbs up to the team at bakalaki!

Horiatika SGD 24.9++
It is a Greek country salad. The main ingredients include grapes, onions, tomatoes, gherkins, kalamata olives and feta cheese, seasoned with olive oil and spices. It is a traditional Greek dish, especially suitable for eating in hot weather.
It's refreshing, delicious, and easy to make at home.
Hummus is pronounced "Hamos". SGD 16.9++
This is a hummus originating from the Middle East, made primarily from chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic.
The taste is smooth and rich, with a slight nutty aroma. The taste may seem bland when you first taste it, but you can spread it on cakes or bread and it will become more delicious the more you eat it.
Htapodi Greek Grilled Octopus S$37.9++
I'm amazed at how such tender grilled octopus can be. Fresh octopus is used and properly cooked to make it super tender. This dish is delicious, with the freshness of the ocean, while blending seasonings such as olive oil, lemon juice and herbs to add a unique flavor that is endlessly memorable
Paidakia lamb chops SGD 37.9++
Paidakia is a classic Greek dish of grilled lamb. There are three small pieces in total, which is just right for the three of us today. It tastes fresh and juicy. The meat of the lamb chops is very soft, with a rich flavor of herbs and seasonings, and is delicious.
Keftedes SGD 19.9++
are traditional meatballs from Greece and Cyprus, known for their unique flavor. This dish typically uses cinnamon, cloves, and pepper to give it its unique aroma and flavor. The outer layer is fried to create a crispy crust, while the inside remains juicy and tender, but this meatball was relatively dry and felt IKEA’s tastes better
Food, atmosphere, staff service, etc. are average.
This is my first time trying coffee, and at first it felt like I was drinking sand powder, but as the powder settled in, it felt better.
The chazugi sauce on the pita bread was good because it's my favorite flavor. The octopus legs were a bit overcooked and the lamb didn't have a bad smell.
To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the meatballs recommended by the owner. It didn't suit our taste.
It was nice that the restaurant was very spacious, but even though there were many empty seats, it was a bit uncomfortable to have customers sitting right next to us. Approximately $250 without drinking.
Noisy space, difficult to exchange work, mainly grilled dishes, except for the sauces that have a burnt taste, the rest of the dishes are ok
The restaurant was lively and had a stylish atmosphere. Ordered French fries, bakalaki salad, moussaka, and grilled octopus. This is enough for two people when ordering! Are French fries big? Is it small? I was asked. It was the right choice since it was small. I wonder if bakalaki salad is enough for 3 or 4 people? I was surprised at how big the plate was. French fries are okay. I think the balsamic vinegar and olive oil dressing for the Bakalaki salad was delicious. Also grilled octopus. I feel like it's been a while since I've eaten such a nice octopus, but it was soft and had just the right amount of chew. And moussaka! This was my goal this time, and it was really delicious. Even my husband, who is not very fond of eggplant, thought it was delicious. I felt that the seasoning was a bit strong, so I might actually eat it with pita bread or hummus. Apparently you can get refills of bread, but we didn't because we were too full. I would definitely like to go again if I have the chance.
The open interior design is casual and calming. Therefore, it is a restaurant that can be enjoyed by both small groups such as 2 people and large groups. One plate is relatively large, so we recommend sharing it with two or more people. The vegetables here are always fresh and delicious, so be sure to order raw vegetables. When it comes to meat, I recommend lamb chops.
The food was very tasty!
Price a bit expensive.
The octopus, pita, and tea were delicious as expected, but the donuts were just a bunch of calories. I shouldn't have asked.
The service was questionable, I was asked the same question twice, the salad I ordered wasn't ordered, and when I asked for a different seat because the seats were empty, I was told that there had to be more than 5 people. ,was denied. Even though it was empty...
