Reviews of Biang Biang Noodle
Nov 2024
Highly recommended by my daughter. No regrets at all. The dishes we ordered were not disappointing and very delicious.
We had the Biang Biang 3 in 1 noodles less spicy. This probably my favorite dish. Noodles was thick and intertwined, Braised pork deliciously brewed, tomatoes egg and lots of greens. Mixed them well and walah.
Also had the tomatoes egg soup noodle which was good and normal.
Had cold dishes like the fungus, noodles. Pork belly burger and spicy pork belly with garlic sauce.
All these must try when you eating here.
Overall a happy meal. For 3 paxs $40+
Delicious noodles, very unique taste and just nice spicyness.
Usually i eat xiaola when i eat mala, but this noodle normal spicy i find it acceptable.
Portion wise it varies depending on who cooks it😂😂 order so many times from them, sometimes portion is gigantic, sometimes its mehh.
Price wise I wouldnt say is cheap, but not super expensive either. I always dabao, the shop atmosphere is pretty bad and very hot.
$8.40 for this noodle i always order. [got noodle + vege + tomato egg + braised pork]
The biang biang noodles and shredded potato were legit delicious. The mala noodles were not.
Will definitely go back for more of their signature biang biang noodles.
Hubby wanted to try the biang biang noodles as it is supposed a famous food from Xi'an, China. We had the braised pork belly biang biang $7.50 and Xinjiang chicken noodles $8.50. Opted for spicy for both. I didn't like the latter. Thought the braised pork belly was done rather well - tender and smooth. Impression of biang biang noodles is that it is a cross between mee hoon kueh and horfun (but broader and longer). I thought the first dish was not bad. Hubby felt both weren't that special. Setting is like a coffeeshop, and a little warm. Service is attentive, although you order and pay at the cashier.
Really enjoyed the biang biang noodles. It was silky and chewy and very filling. Had the tomato egg and the pork belly with special sauce. Prefer the special sauce more as we feel that it has more kick but you can always add vinegar and chili if it's too plain. Also had the mouthwatering (?) chicken and it's not bad just that the chicken is a bit tough but enjoyed the gravy. It was pretty busy during weekend lunch. Accept QR code for payment.
The noodles are above my expectations.
The noodles all are hand made.
The Biang biang noodle is thick and long ones. They are so Jing Dao (it’s like the chewiness from the hand rolled noodles). the topping on top are great for value, has plenty of veggies, meats and tomato with eggs.
The beef noodle la Mian is great too. The soup base even though not the clear type, it is the brewed beef stew soup.
Came upon this little hole-in-the-wall while searching for vegan-friendly dining options in the area still open at night. I've managed to try a few dishes so far, omitting egg and/or pork where necessary. I found the food generally heavier on oil and lighter on complexity and depth of flavour than I would prefer, but I did enjoy the cold tofu salad with spring onion, fried spicy potato strips (basically mala fries 😋), and surprisingly tasty pumpkin porridge (sells out early) - especially when spiced up with their chilli paste.
Had the biang biang noodles for delivery and in the eatery - both are not too different in terms of taste and texture. The noodles are very long, wide and elastic with a nice chew to it. The default spiciness is not very spicy and works very well with the noodles. The meat, however, didn't really add much to the combo. You can add on vinegar and chilli if you need more.
The cumin burger was decent but the buns were slightly tougher than expected - felt that the noodles were much better.
The seats were very cramped and the tables were placed very near to each other. May be quite crowded and squeezy during the peak hours.
I give 4 stars because it is unique and actually taste not bad. I decided to try this after giving up searching in vain for lor mee in that vicinity. We should open ourselves to try cuisines brought in by different nationalities. At least we are in the position to say if it's nice or not.
Seems like this is the only biang biang noodles in Singapore I googled and it is just so so only. Pretty disappointed at the mediocre standard of the noodle after having taste The Best in Singapore but that was before covid at the food court in Plaza Singapura. Having been to XiAn and tasted the original, I would so this is not same the biang biang noodle I had before as it lacks the textured, spice and the flavour. Dont get me wrong, it is ok for someone who has not taste biang biang noodle.
Yummy. One of the most authentic penang prawn noodles.
Do not add chili to your soup. It spoils the taste. Taste the soup first. Then you will know the real taste
Tried signature biangbiang noodle 3in1, Qishan noodle, wanton soup, dumpling and few stir fried dishes. The signature noodle and wanton are quite nice and always among the top list. The stir fried dishes need improve, especially chilly chicken - too many chicken skin, instead , meat cubes are expected.
The spices of the cumin burger were perfect, bringing a good amount of flavours. The bread was pretty average and serves its purpose to hold the fillings in well.
The signature noodles were springy and al dente, great for the sauce to cling onto. Would recommend adding more chilli as the flavours weren't as pronounced.
Liangpi is not very nice. Tastes not v good. Noodle not bad. Rem to add Their chilli oil n vinegar which makes the dishes taste better.
Just ordered a Roujiamo to go because the whole place was so packed with people. The Roujiamo was not bad. Flatbread was not too hard or soft. Minced pork doesn't have a lot of fatty meat. Flavours was good, just a bit too salty. And there's also a hint of mala.
I love the biang biang noodles here and decided to try something different. This is their 大盘鸡面(or something like that) and it was so savoury and delicious too. Might be a bit big for one so I added noodles to share with a friend. Will definitely eat this again!
Ate here for the first time today, definitely wont be the last. Very tasty noodle, we ordered their biang biang 3in1 noodle and requested for spicy version. Not too spicy, more like a level 1 spicy. Less 1 star cause it can be quite hot if it’s crowded.
One of my favourite Biang biang noodle in Singapore! The noodle is cooked al dente with a generous portion of braised pork!
Foods taste were just normal.
The noodle taste was very unique and wierd really cannot explain the taste.but not bad.
Dumplings had good flavor and is not dry on the inside , the dough was reasonably soft. Would recommend to try. Cumin pork burger was not to my taste as I usually don’t eat spicy. But a lot of people do enjoy it.
I had tomato egg with pork noodle, got the small noodle. It was not chewy, just had a nice bite on it. The pork was tender.
Overall tasted good and the portion is quite big considering the price.
This is the first time I've tried such broad noodles. I chose their signature biang biang mian (there are 2 choices, with and without meat, so do specify when ordering). Would come here again 😊
The noodles are quite tasty and would recommend trying it. We would come and eat again.
Biang Biang Noodle leaves a deep impression on me in terms of it's chewy noodles.
I choose the 3 in 1 with pork, tomato and egg and cucumbers. It's value for money and healthy. The chili is just nice, not too spicy for me. For chili lovers, you can add more chili to it. The size of the noodles is like Kway Tiao but it's thicker and bigger in size. I also love tomato and egg. I feel healthy after eating it due to the amount of vegetables it has.
It's located within walking distances from Toa Payoh Mrt and Interchange behind the shop houses.

Probably the ur-joint for biang^2 and other xi’an delights in SG.
Liked:
-Decent liangpi.
- Good biang texture and flavoring. Tried the xinjiang variety with nice pieces of cumin-flavored chicken. The pork belly version is also excellent. Though the biang biang quality isn't always the most consistent.
- their boiled dumplings are excellent.
- Double-braised pork biang
Disliked:
- lamb soup with bun cubes. Decided to try this on a lark but bitterly regretted it. Fundamentally disagree with the design of the dish. The titular cubes have the texture of poorly-cooked noodles that stuck together to create a hard dough lump, which is essentially what these are. The vermicelli disintegrates too quickly into the dish, making a mess, and I fail to see the synergies provided by the side of hard pickled garlic. Wish I’d gone for the familiar route of roujiamo and liangpi instead.
Great noodles! Good texture really chewy, noodle sauce is nice and mildly spicy. I got the Biang Biang Noodles 3 in 1 (tomato egg and pork) for $6
20m from Toa Payoh MRT exit, $6.90 for authentic Xian style Biang Biang noodle and many other choices, v 😋🤤 yummy 💓💓💓
Roujiamo is too salty, Tomato Egg noodles doesn't taste authentic, Huntun is good, millet congee is great 👍
Authentic Xi An food!! 3 in 1 biang biang mian is my go to noodles! On a rainy day, mi xian with soup is good!
Good portion. Noodles gives a nice chew.
Normally I tried their Biang2Mian, but this time friend of mine cannot eat Babi so I tried Xinjiang Noodle style. Surprisingly heavenly taste and authentic. My friend who is non Chinese background also gave a compliment for the food! Yummy
Overall considered ok lorh just noodles and some meat. Just so so
Most time the food is really delicious and good.
Except for today.
It was too salty.
😆
The noodle texture was just nice. It’s quite wide so you would need to cut it down in smaller pieces to eat it properly. The meat portion was good too. Chicken is tender and pork cubes was ok. However, it the vegetables soaked up the oil and it was a bit too oily for me to eat.
Dining experience was fuss free, menu display was clear. Just that mostly was stated in mandarin so for those who can't read mandarin, will just based on pictures and gestures to place your order. Minimal English can be conversed with the staff as all of them are workers from China.
Dined for the first time and order their chicken spicy bun with 2in1 noodles. Portions are little huge thus good for 2 to share.
Maybe is just my taste bud is more of the lighter taste thus the seasonings in the chicken filling was tad too salty for my liking and would have been great if chicken breast can be replaced with chicken thighs. Then it will be softer, juicier and more palatable. Other than it was a decent filling bun with onions in it. Noodles came in quite a big portion with the taste being little sourish, sweet and saltfish. Texture of noodles were bouncy and accompanied with much greens, tomato with eggs. Advisable to consume when it is hot as it gets cold, may get you feeling cloyed. Damaged cost $12.
I have been missing Biang Biang Noodles since my last trip to Xi'an. I must admit, I should've found this place earlier. The noodles are the right amount of chewy and absorbs the sauces really well. There was a great balance in meat and vegetables, and both were generously piled on top of the noodles. The chicken soup woth pork wontons were deliciously refreshing and had a lot of flavour.
Their signature noodle Biang Biang Mian is good
This is the first time that we come to Toa Payoh for lunch. My son recommended Biang Biang Noodle to us. Initially we just ordered one bowl of Wang tan noodle to try. To our surprise it was really good with the special black sauce and well cooked noodles. We ordered another bowl of chicken slices noodles. It was indeed as good as the first. We are indeed very satisfied with both bowl of noodles. Very very good indeed.
I am a returning customer for good reasons. Their biang biang noodles are made to perfection with a great QQ or chewy bite to them and the sauces are simply delicious 😋
This cuisine from Xi'an is worth travelling to from anywhere in Singapore.
Tried their 2-in-1 biang biang noodles with tomato and egg and their pork bun. Their noodles were very chewy like our thick ban mian but tend to cloy and stick together if you leave it out, which makes it difficult to eat. Expected chunks of tomato and egg but was only served puree and less than one egg. But flavour is there.
Their pork bun was something different from the one in Bishan. Instead of the lu rou with fatty oil, theirs was more of pork strips with onions which also tasted great. However, I preferred the buns served at Bishan as they were thin and crispy.
I love the biang biang noodles and roujiamo here! Also other dishes I have tried were great. Addictive
I love their "burgers" and the fact you can choose between fatty and lean meat. Get your hot spice groove on with most of their dishes. A little touch of Xi'An in the middle of Toa Payoh.
Attitude from the staffs shun me from going back, moreover the Biang Biang Noodle in my takeaway box looks like it had been turned upside??..(seems like thy were trying to conceal the incompleteness of the ingredients, there was only a piece of tomato and I can’t see nor taste any egg).. Disappointing
I didn't try but my eldest daughter likes it and my son thinks it is fairly authentic to the ones he tasted in Xian
Good food, good service, reasonable prices. Only thing is its opened aired so can be quite hot and stuffy at times so dress light!
The biang biang noodles and shredded potato are our ride or die dishes here 💫
Large portion of noodle. Delicious!
Good fix for mala soup noodle! Great variety of China food to try out at affordable price
Pretty nice and spicy
The pork garlic and the chinese burgers are heavenly tasty
Hidden behind a corner on tpy central, every dish they have is a signature as they say.
Indeed!

Similar to the taste I had in Xi'an. Slightly disappointed with the liangfen.
Really good food and rare noodles. Really flavourful
Very authentic & generous portion.
Only place in Singapore for authentic Biang Biang noodles.
Used to good but it's different from before. Perhaps it's one off.
Noodles taste super good!
Good food as always
Nice Xian food
Deep fried prawns 👍👍👍👍👍
First try of Biang Biang !
It is pronounced as Byan-byan-men. The noodles are large and filling, but they can also be difficult to eat. It's like Dandan noodles without soup. The noodles are big so your mouth gets dirty. I visited on a weekday at noon, and it was crowded with nearby workers.
It's very popular with Japanese people, so I went there and it was really delicious. Not only the noodles, but all the other dishes are delicious! I will definitely go again!
Newly opened Biang Biang Mian at Telok Ayer MRT station exit B beside Taxi Stand. A branch of Toa Payoh.
Tried the Biang Biang Belt Noodle - Biang Belt Noodle. Not too bad but it was a struggle because the noodle was long and broad. Probably need to reduce the broadness of the noodle and renamed it Children Belt noodle 😀😀😀 child belt noodle!
This way the belt doesn't need to be so wide!
Service is ok ok la😀
Toa Payoh's famous biang biang noodles! This is worth eating.
Sangoichi (with pork) costs $6, and Nigoichi (without pork) costs $5. Since it's a big deal, it's only $6.
I was also asked about the amount of chili, so I replied. I heard that the chili here is not that spicy.
What is surprising about Chakudon is the thickness of the noodles. It's about 4cm wide. The taste is similar to Janjan noodles, but the noodles are quite chewy and delicious! It also goes well with soup.
This was a very satisfying product. Next time I would like to try soup dumplings etc.
I came here to eat biang biang noodles, which are said to be popular with Japanese people. I ordered Dry. The noodles are extremely thick, even thicker than Nagoya's kishimen. The uneven thickness gives it a handmade feel, which is also interesting. Even when it comes to noodles, you can enjoy the texture and the texture more if you slurp them than slurp them. The sauce is rich. When it arrives, turn it upside down and mix it with the sauce as soon as possible so that it will be delicious from beginning to end. Star anise works well, and tastes may differ in that regard. Personally, I love it.
The gyoza I ordered with it was also delicious.
I ordered the three-in-one Biang Biang noodles, which are delicious. The noodles are chewy and freshly made. The pork is on the lean side, so I like it very much. The waiters are very friendly. If you love pasta, come and try it.
Awesome Xi’an snack bar (approved by Shaanxi people)
Biang biang noodle worth a try. Roujiamo was meh
Very delicious, good quality and cheap. It tastes much better than the current loess. Please keep this good taste.
There is a clerk who can speak Japanese. They also have beer, although it's not on the menu.
The noodles with fried sauce are so delicious! Basically all the pasta is delicious
The food tastes good and can be recommended
Kids love the Roujiamo!
We have been visiting this place for many years. We always go for the cold Liang fen noodles. Recently we came on a Saturday at 7pm and it was already sold out. Strange...
