Reviews of Boleh Boleh! @ Clementi Mall
Quite a lot of food choices there… like a mini food court, but the prices is more expensive.
Enjoyed the beef pho alot! Portion is huge, soup tastes great. Char kway teow is so-so and very small. The popiah also not fantastic but chendol is good
Ordered $6.50 prawn noodles, and the photo shows what I got. 3 stars for the taste of the broth, but the ingredients are literally countable- 2 prawns, 1 squid tail.
Not too sure if the chef is well trained, did not even bother to put the garnish.
My dad wanted to order fried char kway teow without chili but the chef said no. He did not specify but I believe that the prawns were not fresh.
The satay store did not allow mix meat for their 5 pieces and it was expensive (dad said $6.50 for this). It is better to go to the hawker centre instead of eating there.
But the Vietnamese noodles were nice. That I can recommend because I ate that myself. Broth was clear and not that salty. The dish came with good amount of slice beef, or chicken. I always drink all the soup whenever I eat that dish.
Great find, a good court that servers halal food. Since I don't take pork this is a great discovery!! All the local delights such as wanton noodles, prawn noodles, oyster omelette and Tim Sum! So far I only tried these few stall. I must say the fried prawn noodles is fantastic. My Chinese friends who take the pork version thought it tasted similar. The Chicken Siew Mai is very good. You can even see the whole shrimps mixed with the chicken meat and it was steamed to perfection! Fei Shiong has always been able to please us at with its various offerings. This good is a great concept and they can serve a wider customer groups. I aam certain that I will visit again soon!
Fancy of affordable dishes in an air conditioning environment, this is a place where you can come to try out. Lots of selections.
A well-located Malay food court. Foods are variety and found to be tasty. At 10 am, the customers were not many as it's a bit early.
The food was amazing!
This is where you can bring your halal friends to chat with each other!
I recommend to get Haj Maimunah as their nasi padang is top tier!
Tried the Braised Beef Brisket La Mian and Chicken Wanton in Chilli Oil at the Hong Kong Style Dimsum stall. They were delicious. Would patron the stall again to try other menu items.
A lot of places to try, so far I've eaten the bee hoon with ayam berempah, vietnamese noodles with grilled chicken and spring roll and claypot rice. The latter was a bit too salty for my liking. The first 2 were more value for money.
First time, trying here .. great halal food, chicken rice is nice (soft, tender) and is popular as there is queue .. Curry chicken noodle is nice too
Tried Rojak (ask for no sugar) is spicy, delicious with many ingredients you tiao, pineapple, turnip, cucumber ..
There is variety of food choices. Mixed Rice, Chicken Rice, Western Food etc. The place is usually pack during lunchtime.
My go to would be The Claypot Chicken Rice. Quite flavorful but I would recommend eating it straight out of the Claypot instead of take-away. Adding chili and soy sauce would give it a kick so don’t forget that.
Tried the Penang laksa. Two of the most important ingredients, bunga kantan and peppermint leaves are missing, so the fragrance is no longer there. The fish meat is so little and can't feel the meat. Cannot understand why they want to chop the vegetables until so fine, so it became lumpy when come in contact with the soup. Overall below my expectation.
Great prices for very good halal Chinese food. Delicious har gow (packed with crunchy shrimp), claypot rice (not pictured) and dumplings in chilli - all from different shops.
This food court also has other stalls like Thai, Penang Pasembur, Chendol, Curry rice and Prata which i’ve not tried, but I would say the differentiating factor is the halal chinese food which is hard to find at these prices. Will be back again
Only tried chicken rice & ckt which tastes the same as the Jurong Msia Boleh.
Chicken rice meat portion was very little compared to other places. Waited 20 min for ckt ($4.50) which came with 2 decent prawns (not the gross frozen peeled prawns that a lot of places use), had a good wok hey and was not too oily. There’s only one guy cooking the ckt & they did not compromise on the quality to cut down on the waiting time.
Food: Ordered the sliced fish thick beehoon
Service: Friendly
Atmosphere: The stall is located in boleh boleh.
Tried these dishes.. Love all of them.. Bought some takeaways. But forgot to take pictures. Worth coming back to try other dishes.
Fully halal coffee shop
Prices are on the slightly high side, $8.50 for the Ayam barkar with blue pea rice. It was quite nice.
There are 2 drinks stalls - one nearer the entrance, and one next to the Ayam Barkar stall. The latter was more expensive, bought teh o bing for $2.70 😅
Had Claypot Chiken Rice here. It was SGD$5.50. I like this Malaysian style food court. Got many kinds interesting foods like this, it's must try. Payment method is cash or ShopeePay only.
The Malay stall that opened up here is a branch of the famous stall at Arab street. Their food quality is excellent but can't say about others.
Good selection of Malaysian dishes tucked inside Clementi Mall on the 4th floor. Can be a little hard to get a table during mealtimes but if you are alone you can ask to sit at a bigger table with others. I had the Ayam Bakar which was good, spicy sauce. Slightly too much sauce poured over it but I'm guessing this is Malay style. Worth checking out.
Not all stall are halal certified. Asked the claypot stall if its halal, worker said “No pork. No lard. No halal cert.” Minus 2point here.
Halal is more than just no pork no lard. I then went to other halal certified stall to get my lunch fix. Will be my last time there. Very misleading. You either have a halal cert or indicate/ proof its a muslim owned business.
Place is halal fyi, which means the food unfortunately is not as flavorful as I'd like. But I am glad that our halal bros and sis have more options open to them!
The chicken rice isn’t bad
But the tables are very dirty and sticky
Not worth eating here
I go for my favorite claypot chicken rice but recently the price has gone up to $6. Update: the standard has dropped and there is no service (self service is not service). There are other stalls which are ok. For drinks, I love the kopi bing, but is no longer good value iced coffee. Everything has gone up in price, 1% GST > 10% price increase.
Many PRC going around selling keychains. Disturbing.
Western food chicken chop portion huge. Worth the price!!
Oily, over cooked, lots of starch with little oysters and egg. Skip the fried egg oysters stall.
Very uncomfortable furniture, very poor exhausts so it smells weird. Less crowded as compared to other places.
Good food but very rude staff. I guess juz eat and ignore such people
This food court serves halal food so it’s a good choice for Muslim friends. Good variety of food for different taste buds.
Only the coffee and tea are cheap!
Just another food-court but since the relax of COVID more tables are added, too compact. Food just normal 🤔
Egg tart is as big as a fifty cents coin or might be smaller and charge $3 for 3 pieces. This is really an expensive item.
Had the ayam baker with blue pea nasi lemak and find it pretty nice, the chicken sauce and tahu. Separately, the decoration also added a good feel. Overall it is value for money and good place to dine at.
This is a summary of my 3 visits. The chicken clay pot rice is good and worth waiting for. The Penang Laksa is also good but portion is small. In other words it is pricey. The famous Penang Fried Koay Teow is a great disappointment; very oily and not worth $4.50. They also do not provide no-chilly option. Finally the Popiah, first time I tried it I liked it, but second time I found the skin dry and hard. However at $2 a piece it is very affordable. All the best.
Nice place to take a good rest with Nice foods if the foods there real price, pictures of foods selling are show selling exceptly then is ok usually not tally at all.. what I can say is misleading the consumers to eat with different price and cook not tally with picture show in display board . Feeling is not honest at all..
All the stall are certified halal. Have try a few dishes mainly Claypot Chicken rice, dimsum & Chendol. So far these were good. Got to try a few more dishes though but overall look nice
Awesome food. Very tasty and inexpensive.
Nice varieties of halal food stalls. However, some stalls not doesnt display the halal certificates. So questionable, hence minus 1 star.
Great ambience for Malaysia fare
Halal though..choices are good...
food is good...u can get your char kuay teow.
Prawn hokkien mee..assam laksa...satay...chendol
At least 30 to 40 stalls
Aircon n comfortable seating
Prices very reasonable
Yummmm
Tried the Fried Kway Tiao twice, thought the first was bad so the second time maybe be better.. still cannot even finish the plate. Luckily got the dessert Chendol to mask the disappointment.
Same as all Boleh Boleh in Jurong point & others shopping mall!
Many new varieties, can come try! I like their ayam bakkar.
There are a lot of food options in the food court! The carrot cake tastes good, the soy milk is too weak with too much ice, and the coffee also has too much ice.
Delicious food is really delicious even though it's expensive, just take a look, the important thing is to be happy...
The service was not very good and the food was nothing special.
There are not many stalls and not many choices, but the claypot chicken rice is delicious
