Reviews of Bruno’s Pizzeria & Grill Serangoon
The duck leg was super super good. Crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. I also loved the rillettes which I got as first dish!!!! Chef Bertrand talent and creativity were evident in every bite. Beyond the food, this is a really nice and warm place. A good blend of excellent cuisine and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!
I had the pleasure of tasting an extraordinary dish featuring beluga lentils, truly worthy of a Michelin star. Chef Bertrand Raguin was not only incredibly welcoming but also showcased remarkable creativity in his cooking. It wasn’t just about the outstanding food—it was a fantastic moment of conviviality as well. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone!
Regret we didn’t visit the place before this, ordered pizza and we love it! 😍 complimentary foccacia bread and dip were good! Spaghetti bolognese was a little sweet for our taste though. But all in all had a very good dinner. Will come back for sure!
This food with this price?
I don’t think will visit again.
Rated three star as staffs are friendly and nice but foods are not so good as other reviews and not worth the price at all.
Had Vongole was not salty enough and don’t have much taste or umami of shells, Neapolitan pizza was okay but don’t have much taste also.
Croquettes and escargot was quite normal and all foods I had are nothing special. With this price I definitely prefer Saizeriya better.
Tuna pizza was decent in taste. Could have better dough that's lighter/airy like those of sourdough pizzas. However amount of tuna on the pizza was disappointing.
Pork chop had a great char and sauce on the side was plentiful with lots of smoky/charred flavours and worked wonderfully. Sides tasted great. Presentation leaves much to be desired though.
Staff were nice and overall ambience was nice. Overall a little too pricey still though.
Food was great and relatively big portioned, making the price justified.
Ordered the king prawn pasta and it was pretty good with some charred flavours. Is it authentic Italian? Not really. But it serves pretty well to our Singaporean taste buds.
Restaurant was really hot though.
Best Italian food ever! Prices matched the portion size, and the staff were really friendly! We ordered lasagne, the prawn squid-ink pasta (pictured), and pizza, plus an assortment of desserts, which included crème brûlée, profiterole, panna cotta and cake. Every meal was a 10/10, and all the staff were really friendly. Service was quick, and the soothing jazz music, quaint corner store aesthetic and Italian-style decor contributed to the ambience of Bruno’s and made it feel really special.
Clean, great atmosphere with lighting, decoration, and calm instrumental music playing, and a great experience. They were patient with my many questions. The menu is one you scan the QR code for. They do offer Gluten-Free (GF) pasts for an extra $3 (which is normal and makes sense considering the cost of GF pasta); the creme Brule and Panna cotta are also GF. The GF pasta actually tasted good and acted like a normal noodle. I ordered the Bigoli and I cannot remember what my friend ordered. Highly recommend and plan on going back. They do have a wine selection. A little pricier but the quality of the food matched and I am very happy with me experience.
Visited this place a couple of days ago with my family during our stay in Singapore. We loved it so much, we went back tonight! Wonderful restaurant with a good selection of food, great atmosphere, and fabulous staff. The bruschetta was delicious, so much so, 3 of us ordered multiple serves on our return visit! Pizzas were fab as was the lamb and kebab. The staff are really friendly and really made our visits wonderful. Highly recommend for a relaxed and tasty night out
Really good food at reasonable prices! They have a variety of choices with seasonal items on the blackboard and regular dishes in the menu book. If you still can't decide on what to order, just ask the friendly and knowledgeable owner for recommendations. No regrets coming here.
The restaurant has cosy aircon indoor seating as well as outdoor seating.
Amazing food, just like its sister branch at Tanjong Katong. Thought that the food was just slightly better at the original branch at Katong but it’s very much negligible. Service was fantastic, crew always greeting us with a smile. Love it, we will be back soon again. I always have my usual Al Granchio and Burrata Salad. Tough to find parking though.
Ran out of idea on what to order, so settled with black angus rib eye steak. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the steak was. It was tender and flavourful, perfectly seared while maintaining the inner moist and flavour. Also coupled with potato au gratin and greens as sides. I would rate it 5 star if the peppercorn sauce was not burnt. Overall experience was very good. Staff was friendly and attentive, not to mention 12 bucks for a pint of beer.
Good quality food, good pricing and my fav is always a Aperol or Negroni together with my meals.
We’ve found this Bruno’s to be the best Bruno’s amongst the three. Food was fantastic every visit, service was impeccable, and was actually very surprised and touched that the staffs( both Pamela the sweet sommelier that I’ve forgotten her name, my bad)remembered us with such details! Had a chat with Pamela ( who was so warm and friendly btw) that deepened our understanding of the restaurants and we were very impressed with both the restaurants and Bruno the man behind the name. This one is definitely a keeper in our books for whenever the cravings got Italian/ French food hits us. Each visit sent us home with great food in our bellies and some warm and magical feelings in our hearts 🥰
Cozy Italian restaurant tucked away in an unassuming area along Serangoon Road. Dishes were fantastic - the oysters are a must-have (staff recommends to call a few hours in advance, so the oysters come in timely and fresh).
Love the service also! Definitely coming back... and recommending this to all my friends 😀
The cafe we were hoping to dine at was shut down when we arrived and Bruno's was just down the road so we went in. What a great decision that turned out to be. The food was really good. Risotto had the right bite, chicken was tender, kids loved the pizza and lasagna. We really enjoyed the seafood Frito for the starter. Service was excellent! Sidenote, you have to pay for water as it's bottled.
The food was great, from the pizzas and ravioli to the cheese platter and garlic bread. Be sure to get a limoncello to cleanse your palette afterwards.
It was a bit noisy, and we had to swat away a couple of flies thanks to the midday heat, but the scrumptious food drowned that out.
First time been here and have family lunch,
One of the rare gem found in the middle of
Serangoon road. The food is fantastic and the after set lunch is a great deal. We ordered prawns pasta, truffle French fries, lobster pasta and three lobster soup, two great pizzas. Cosy ambience. Will come again for such
Consistently top quality food at reasonable price great location and ambience - love this place
The atmosphere was cosy and the food was pretty good. Would recommend the pastas and Parma ham platter. The owner is also really friendly and the service was top notch. Do note it is not exactly budget friendly.
Food - tried the rissotto, pizza. Personally not into aged beef steaks, but that's just my palette
Ambience - cosy little restaurant, in an unexpected part of town.
Price - 40++ per pax
Parking can be problematic. Suggest to park along Petain Road. Have very limited spots along Serangoon Road.
Quality of the food is better than their price tag, I'll definitely visit again. Though the tiramisu is quite as firm as I preferred, hence 4 instead of 5 stars.
Love the place and always a delight for dinner. Ordered Spaghetti Vongole, Iberico pork chop, ham+mushroom pizza and creme brûlée. Thumbs up and always great to chat with PAM. Will come back again..
A good restaurant. Warm and hospitable service. Check out their Tanjong Katong and Telok Kurau outlets as well which are slightly better in execution in my opinion.
Warm & friendly service, albeit a slight long waiting time. Kids enjoyed the food as well. The saffron risotto was ace!
Lady boss was very friendly, raw oysters was delicious. Recommended to come!
Highly recommend this place. Love the pizza and pasta both. They know what they're doing. Price point also quite affordable esp during lunch 👌
Attentive service from the staff and generous portions. House pours were cheap and the pizza, pasta and mains ordered were executed well. We'll be back for more!
Chestnut and chocolate cake that is yummy and for a good cause ❤️!
Great taste and hearty portions. Popular for seafood. $1 oysters on tuesdays not to be missed.
It's a bit on the expensive side but I liked the food and drinks, it has super nice staff and it's pet friendly.
Wonderful place. Good food and good choice of wines.
A small restaurant but very good service and pleasant atmosphere.
Quite pricey. Pizza was so-so. Service was nice. A lot of mosquitos outside.
Nice and cozy restaurant. Pizza is yummy and food oh wow.. so nice and tasty.
Great food but at a high price. Service is good and it is a must try!
Food's really good. Staffs are super friendly
