Reviews of Changi Village Market
Lots of affordable food and drink options - halal and nonhalal. Take your pick! Feels like eating at a cafeteria or food court.
There are also fruit markets and an ATM here.
Note: make sure you clean your table or you'll get a fine.
Good food, good ambience
Famous nasi lemak shop really nice and the sambal is great.
Quite alot famous food. I like the secret corner aunty n son stall at the end side with banana deep fried cake. Sooooooo gooooood. Today i tried wanta mee. Lots of wantan. Yummy
$6 nasi lemak and $6 Thai eggs. Heavenly.
My favourite hawker centre. So much good food here, something for every taste. Coupled with all the eateries along Changi Village Road this is a foodies paradise. Great ambience, away from the city tho it can understandably get crowded esp at peak times. The wanton mee and the beef noodle are highly recommended.
Happy 2 visit the drink stall uncle....who sell very nice lime water
Changi Village is my go to Hawker Centre as they have top notch hawkers that sell Michelin Grade Quality Food at a way lower price.
For instance, their Bedok Beef Kway Teow Stall sells restaurant quality food. N in my opinion their Beef Kway Teow is way more better than Secret Recipes Beef Kway Teow...
Had Mee Rebus Satay, its Superbly Delicious!!
Changi village food market is one of singapore's best hawker centres. The food offerings here are plentiful, very delicious, large in variety and very very affordable. However many of the shops are not open on weekdays. And on the weekends almost all of the shops will be open for business. In terms of crowdedness, going on the weekends at prak timings is definately a death sentence. It is very hard to secure a seat dur to the amount of people dining. Apart from this issue, this is a great place to dine for lunch or dinner with your friends and family
A place with many stalls selling good food. I might spoil myself if I live there. No chance of eating the same food twice in a week. So many varieties of food to choose from and their taste are fantabulous...
Have been patronizing the stalls here for close to 41 years and saw the changes. Still like my black carrot cake stall at the corner. Not oily at all and still very generous with the eggs. Alot of stalls have changed hands over the years and for some their stall's location. Not sure if everyone knows that the original popular corner International nasik lemak stall have shifted their location to the stall in front, facing the flats. Their fried chicken wings and sambal is still the best in my opinion.
Could not enjoy my favourite ayam penyet as it was sold out when I got there at about 3pm. Settled for the fried chicken briyani from the stall next to the ayam penyet stall. The briyani was surprisingly good and went down real well with the pineapple chunks drink (bought from 2 stalls away from the briyani stall)! (Update: Wednesday, 9 February 2022): Rainy day. Managed to reach this location wet but not drenched! And I got to enjoy the ayam penyet with the simply delicious chilli! Well worth the wetting!!
Good food at affordable prices
Very good variety of Singapore food. Good prices and good taste. Nice coastal boardwalk for an after-dinner stroll too. One of the best hawker centres in Singapore.
Old. Hygiene wise below average. If u looking options of malay foods. Here is suitable. Here the hokkien prawn noodle called 60s prawn noodle is good
Must go! Place to relax and have a good meal there.
Definitely a lot of food choices. My favourite has always been the Rumah Melaka shop which is known for its different types of Chendol apart from its kuehs, Mee Rebus, Mee Soto and Nasi Lemak. And the grandma is so cute and still strong despite her old age. She can do her mental calculations real fast.
Quiet and good place in the morning. Probably I went to early at 6.45am, few stores are opened, but still managed to get good breakfast. Not changes since last visit.
All the local favourites are there
Especially the two Nasi Lemak stalls
Both are equally good & base on individual taste....
Beware the crowd during peak hours
Yah parking is abit limited during peak hours too...
Many nice food. Ipoh hor fun, white beehoon, nasi lemak, chai tow kuey (corner store only black). But this place always crowded and not so clean.
Back to business following easing of covid visits....packed with hungry locals mostly going to Pulau Ubin for the day. Long queues, but food stalls are efficient and food as good as ever!
The hawker centre provide most of Singapore's favourite dishes from well known stores. From nasi lemak and chicken rice during luch, to tze char and seafood during dinner, we are spoilt for choice... Not to mention there are bars and restaurants nearby, and the beach is close by for a walk after meals to help you digest food, or prep a picbic if you fanct!
A place i love almost every work day as i take my breakfast with the fresh sea breeze and the cool air! U have some nice food as well!
Iconic spot in Changi Village though not as memorable as the hawker centre before the current setup. Some good food here still.
To those who come to changi village is a must to go to Melaka House restaurant to try their soto ayam nasi lemak mee rebus and the main STAR is their home made chendol...this is super delicious I guarantee you will eat atleast 2 bowls of the original chendol despite they all varieties of range of chendol plus they have range of local desserts such epok2 goreng pisang salat pulut bubur hitam etc...so dont miss the melaka house whenever you go makan at Changi Village...cheers!!!
A splendid place to enjoy the weekend with your family, with lots of varieties of different ethnic group food and the nearby Changi Beach to go for a stroll at anytime of the day.
An unique market set within rustic setting. Though not many market stalls are operating, the adjacent hawker Centre is a popular spot for foodies.
Name it ..u got it.. thats the main point. Any kind of food...asean to european dishes. Here is the place. Even at night too , good place to chill...while.enjoying the sea breeze.
Great open air dinning venue that is value for money, lots of good food and most importantly plenty of space for maintaining social distance
Malay breakfast cuisine galore!
Kun kee fried oyster chilli is best..sour to the max
Changi v dessert red tea leaf pudding taste great too
Getting quieter recently....once the ferry services open up to pengerang, will be quieter for the hawker centre.
Loving the food.. all the nasi lemak there is nice.dont need to go for the long q line to eat the nasi lemak..
Large variety of good local food at affordable prices!
Lots of good hawker food in one place. Still able to buy kopi-O for under a dollar a cup there.
Affordable food, typical hawker food but there are some very delicious food here
Lots of good food and responsible price. You should the seafood mee hon and Satay.
Not bad, as food centres go, but for a Sunday morning, too many stalls are closed
Food is nice, alot of choices, price reasonable.
A good makan place with many Nasi Lemak stalls for your choice.
Lot of good varieties .. this place is more than just nasi lemak.
Nice food, good place to be. Near the beach n the greens.
Many people still go there to eat. Most stalls are still there. Spoilt for choice.
Always so much to eat. Chendol from the Melaka Chendol was nice too.
Varieties of food and ample seating. Need to be caution which stall to order food from.
A Vibrant Neighbourhood Market with many Eateries and a Hawker Centre offering a wide Choice of Food
Lots of great local food at very affordable prices
Famous nasi lemak, fried banana filters, fried carrot cake
Many food varieties and bike shops, nice place to hanging around.
The traditional lor mee was nice. The stall open in the morning.
Good food... can be quite crowded in the mornings
lots of good food, cheap and affordable
Yummy nasi lemak but not worth the queue
I enjoy the nasi lemak n ice kachang is good
Lots of food to choose from. Have halal options too
Many nice local food.
Fresh seafood with reasonable price. A bit too far
Rustic place with excellent food day or night.
Love the eateries especially Ipoh Hor Fun
Ok as normal. Everyone seems to to their own safety precaution
Super laid back....Kampong style in City Singapore...
Foods ok
Lots of delicious food yum
Very crowded. Lil shops open due to holiday.
Rustic charm...full of delicious foods
I love to eat jalani nasi brayni
love the ambience noise and the busy-ness of it
Plenty of cheap andnice hawker food
good and cheap food.
Good for everybody and family .
Lot of food choice
Good food
Good food
Many varieties of food. Moderate price. Nasi Lemak, Satay Mee Hoon, Fried Tofu is nice.
Located next to Changi Tail Bus Terminal in Singapore, there are 4 buses running here, they are 2.29.59.109.
There are many delicious foods here, including halal food, and the desserts are also good. The coconut water sold by a lady outside is even better. I take 5 cups home every time. (with seal)
The only drawback is that the service attitude of the Cantonese-style Huang Xing Kitchen is unpleasant: - My uncle has an eye disease and cannot see far, so he asked the fat lady who wrote the order to order some rice, noodles, and noodles. She said she saw the advertisement above. She told people that she had bad eyesight and wanted to introduce them. She was willing to give someone a thumbs up when there was no crowd: How do I introduce the 10 items? Rather than giving the same information to the old man, he still stood there and refused to speak...
Here have wurung nenek bananas and chicken Panyet. Prices are reasonable.
There are many choices of food. When you are full, you can go to the beach or take a boat to Pulau Ubin.
Nice food especially nasi lemak
The food area is clean and ventilated
