If you haven’t went there for a chill period, you have never truly visited Tanjong Pagar, ps order their Wasabi Wagyu burger, it’s lit. And their beef nachos, it’s worth. What’s that bit of spending if you ain’t living. Go to the second level, it’s so chill there guys Ps I’m sorry had so much fun that all I had was a photo of the door🫢

Great place to have a meal or chill after work. Food and serve are 10/10! Came here for lunch on a weekday, only the downstairs was filled and they still had capacity upstairs. Though it seems like more of a drinking spot. This place has a great selection of assorted mains and sides which would be great during any meal. Would definitely recommend a visit! PS. Try the alcoholic root beer and the Oysters (THEY WERE REALLY BIG)!!! And don’t forget to get chope vouchers ^^

Really huge servings. Not the most comprehensive in terms of menu but the taste is quite good. Love the vibes in the evening (when seated outside). This part of PLQ has less crowd as many are not aware.

Not only is this a great place for soju and Korean beers, their food is awesome!! I’ve been here on 3 occasions and not once did they disappoint!! defo has become a go-to place. This tofu thing was my favourite, definitely try it! The Fish & chips (not pictured) are great too. Bars that serve good food… huge win!! Staff/ Servers are also… for lack of better word…helpful!! And super attentive even when they’re busy!

Very nice place with nice stuff!!! Drinks are affordable as well! Glad to have found this gem! They have a karaoke set that you can sing while drinking. Totally would come back again!

Pleasantly surprised by the food. For a bar-setting, the food is certainly restaurant quality. Highly recommended to try the pork-chop, chili crab pasta & tom yum pasta. The pork chop in particular was so soft and tender. The knife could slice through it easily and it'll just melt in your mouth. Staff are friendly too even though they seemed under-staffed. Food was served promptly even when they were near full-capacity.

didn’t manage to take photo of all the dishes we’ve ordered but the food is really good except for maybe the iberico pork satay (acquired taste). the dish in the photo is chug banger & mash, the sausage is very flavourful. special mention for the brown sauce yums. we also had the duck & seafood crepe WHICH IS SO GOOD WE ORDERED TWICE, MUST TRY!! mentaiko scallop pasta is good too, not too mentaiko-y to make u gelat, there’s also generous portion of roe hehe. truffle fries pretty average but the rest saved the day. downside: food served quite slowly but prolly because it’s crowded even on a thursday night haha, pls reserve!! and only one toilet, relatively clean. overall this place has a really nice chill ambience with very helpful staff too!! Food was quite good, especially the Sambal Stingray! Cocktails were interesting and I really liked the Earl Grey Martini. Price were a tad on the expensive side but I thought it was worth the try. Ambience wise is great to gather with friends and unwind. :) The only downsides were that the seats are quite uncomfortable and the space was quite tight on the 2nd floor. Not sure if it's allowed but some were vaping indoors.

I've been to chug chug twice and the last time I went I had the buttermilk chicken burger, crispy pork belly and the mala pasta. The burger was excellent, pork belly was good but the pasta was too overwhelming. As someone who can eat the fire noodles perfectly fine, the mala pasta was too much. One bite numbed my entire mouth which affected my dining experience. I went with 2 other people and they both agreed that it was too much and we did not finish the pasta. However, despite this I do enjoy going to chug chug as the ambiance is nice and the other dishes are definitely worth a try!

Great Korean bar with 2 levels if I am not wrong. Food was alright and drinks were good although a little pricey. Place was pretty crowded on a Friday night with both indoor and outdoor choices. Many choices of bars around the area, but the staff here were attentive and kind. Last order for food is about 10pm, so a little inconvenient if you are looking to get light snacks and drinks. Place itself however opens until late.

We enjoyed our food and drinks at Chug Chug. The staff were very friendly and nice as well, they accommodated our request for our seating and birthday celebration. Shoutout to Dan, who helped us a lot and was really cheerful the whole time!

A cosy bar with really affordable Booze. For the food, the taste is there, but the cooking can definitely be better. For example, their calamari with that squid ink paste was really yum, but the batter was soggy and the squid was very rubbery. Also, the fries was over fried. What we loved the most was the burgers. The beef and cheese burger was yummy. The chilli crab burger was interesting and good. Certainly a place to come back with big grp of friends.
