Mala were meh. Using that kinda plate was weird. Skewers on average were good. Deep fried sausage goes really well with beer. Thou abit too much for 2 people. Especially recommend the lamb skewer corn ribs. For these 2 items I will be back. Not much of a service and price was reasonable.

Nestled along the strech of beauty world, this charming campsite-themed Chinese Mala restaurant offers a spacious and well-ventilated atmosphere. They specialise in Mala soup and dry Chinese dishes but also offer a variety of other options. Their 串串 grilled skewers are also a must-try, priced at an average of $3 for 2-3 skewers. The seasonings are a good balance spice & savoury. I like that there are tea light candles at the base of the hot plate to keep the skewers warm as you talk to your friends. 🍜 The mala soup costs $3.20 per 100g, while it costs $3.60 per 100g for the mala dry. The minimum order is 300g, which comes to around $30 for two people's portions. We tried the 🍅 Tomato soup base, and it was just the right balance tomato-ey sweetness. The soup wasn't too overpowering nor salty, and had a great tomato flavour with some tomato chunks. I really appreciate that the price is based on weight, so you can customize your order with as much meat or vegetables as you like. The ambience is very pleasant, and I love that the skewers have a tea light candle hot plate to keep them warm while you enjoy your meal. We also ordered a beer and a chilled milk tea, which complemented the skewers perfectly. 🧋 The Ceylon Milk Tea was especially delicious, with a strong tea flavour and fragrant milk. I rate: 4/5 🌟 We used a Grab dine in 20% off voucher, which helped us save a lot. I would definitely come back here for the ambience, food, and friendly service. I also appreciate the restaurant's commitment to hygiene, with features like UV heating panels for utensils and a self-service condiment section.

Review is solely on the Mala Tang. I ordered small spice (bottom of photo). Friend ordered big spice (top of photo). When our food came, I was blowing fire while my friend is sad that it’s not spicy at all. Later on, we tried each other’s soup, it has the same spice level. My small spice bowl is visibly oilier than the big spice bowl. The soup is too spicy for me to enjoy. Mala tang pricing is reasonable. Buy 2 Get 1 free beer large bottles was nice, my friend bought 1 to dine in, 2 to takeaway, the beer was prepared properly for takeaway.

❤️ in love with the Mala flavour here！ Shiokkkk!! A great place to chill with frens. Was ordered curry and dry mala with abit spicy, It cost only SGD3/100g, superb worthy! Offering alot grill stuff too! Grilled yellow fish and squid are the must to having here! Their flavouring awesome~ About 5 minutes walk from blue line Beauty world

super chill place to hang out with friends for supper! mala was superb, but the chuan chuan were mind blowing. third time visiting, foresee myself coming here more often :) also really appreciate the extra mile the staffs take to make our dining experience better, despite no service charge!

Atmosphere and ambience was great, but food was subpar and service was horrible. soup of the malatang tasted instant, with a layer of oil resembling instant noodles. skewers were decent. waited 30mins for my skewers, and upon the first prompt, the lady at the counter told me that it was being made, did not seem applogetic about it. went to prompt again at 40mins and they told me they've lost my order. wasn't it being made? decided to continue waiting for my food, and they finally arrived at the 50min mark, but still missed out a portion of my order, and i needed me to remind them about it again. Edit: The company contacted me after initial review and offered a sincere apology and compensation regarding this incident. Hopefully things will turn out better in the future.

You must try the skewered crayfish, it’s delicious, the store owner The homemade milk tea, poplar nectar, etc. are all delicious, and the waiters are very talkative and cheerful👍🏻

The Chuanchuan is homemade and pickled in the store. It’s really delicious and has a unique taste. The store’s double skin milk is my favorite and I recommend the store’s homemade drink. It’s really great to come here for a late night snack👍🏻
